I had one crazy experience with my boyfriend this weekend, I think there was many other things to it, but basically he was declaring his love to me in some very over exaggerated way I've never seen anyone done before. Instead of being happy I apparently thought it was too much, and I actually yelled at him because of some stupid jealousy Afterwards I analysed this when I was alone, and I actually laughed a bit, because I though about my Venus in Scorpio squaring his Jupiter in Leo.I actually think this could explain why I think his love was a little bit over the edge, and maybe why I was in a jealous mood? But somehow I think there was more to it, that same evening I was feeling very down because of some other stuff with a friend, and I think I yelled at him because I was in fact feeling bad about not being in the same "love-mood" at the same time as he was... My uranus in capricorn is squaring his Venus in Libra, which I think could also explain why I found out we are often not in the same "mood" at the same time, making the expression of our love for each other a bit difficult.... Just a thought, do you think some other aspect could explain why this is suddenly a problem? IP: Logged |

I don't have the square, but I do have the conjunction. Venus in Scorpio conjunct Jupiter (0 degrees) in Scorpio. Jupiter also conjuncts my Scorpio stellium (Sun, moon(libra), mercury, venus). I can relate to the exaggeration definitely. I wouldn't necessarily call it exaggeration.. Maybe dramatic or just more comfortable with expressing venusian qualities so to more reserved or private individuals, this might be viewed as unnecessary or overly-dramatic. We just have extremely big hearts that has an overflowing cup of love and we don't want to waste it. We'd rather share it with you! IP: Logged |

I have Venus square Jupiter in my synastry (I'm the Jupiter -- it's in Capricorn, and his Venus/Mars conjunction is in Aries). According to Google, it can lead to "too much of a good thing" -- basically, Jupiter encourages all of the impulses and desires that Venus (and Mars, in this case) wants, and while we can have an amazing amount of fun together, it can lead to overindulgence. I have to say I haven't seen this happening, mostly due -- I think -- to the fact that we both have rather strong Saturn markers in our respective makeups and we're also maturing. We know what it's like to go down those reckless paths and usually it doesn't lead anywhere good. It's a relief to be with someone who can see consequences -- we're learning together. (Although I think that is more due to our NN contacts)I love him tremendously, but I don't feel that our love is off-balance. IP: Logged |

I have Jupiter in Leo and a girl I like has Venus in Scorpio so maybe I can share some insight into this square dynamic.Sometimes when I try to express that I care, it can come across as possibilities, something that will come in the future, ie, the expansive and growth oriented nature of Jupiter and Leo - but the expression of love seems to reflect a 'change' of some sort. With a square to either Scorpio or Taurus, since both would be a square, the recipient is kind of like, "whoa, hold it a sec, change??? can't you just like me the way I am, are you sure you love me because you seem to want me to be something else??". This tension is created because it's not that either person is wrong per se, it's just that the energies coming from both are different - one focused on the future that sometimes misses the present moment and the other that seems to want to dive into the infinite now and doesn't want abstract concepts. Hope that helps. IP: Logged | |
