I've been involved with two guys I share this with and it does bring a great connection. They both feel like 'home' in this area, not to say there aren't other synastry aspects which contradict but I suppose since I've experienced it twice, I can perceive it better.

I share very similar taste with them both too, same kind of music, furniture, clothes, art. It's very harmonious domestically and for day to day living. In and of itself it is a mostly platonic connection, so for this to be an intimate relationship you'd hope to see sparks elsewhere but this does cement a great bond. For me they are both life long friends and remain close....

I don't know of an instance where I've had Venus-venus in aspect.Venus-Sun, Venus-Moon (trine) Venus-Mercury (opp), Venus-Mars... Her Venus square my Mars, now that's hot, but maybe not recommended...

I had this with a male friend. We're not really friends anymore, and I think it could be this placement that contributed. I can be very friendly and platonic, and it soon became apparent he wanted more - which meant any friendliness from me would be misread. I suppose he liked the way I expressed my venusian traits, but alas I didn't like his venusian traits/they didn't attract me romantically.

I have it with a guy I' talking to. I've never had it before and omg it is such a blessing. Having Venus in Aries means I tend to be very forthright and "aggressive" to some men who don't like women to lead at all, but this guy likes it since our Venuses are tightly conjunct. He likes a woman who can take control and speak her mind unlike Venus in Libra men who love passive women who don't speak up (no thanks).

I can relate I have the sextile with someone. And it's my first time having this with someone too. I really love it a lot. Do the two of you tend to like the same things? Like the same food, movies, entertainment etc? I think it makes communication easier too since you have some things in common.

I have Venus conjunct Venus with the guy I’ve been dating it’s in a different sign (I have Venus at 28 degree Pisces). And they have a retrograde Venus in Aries at 3 degrees. His Venus is conjunct my Venus in my 8th house. It’s a nice aspect to have I like the person and we are similar we also like similar things. But it just makes me feel like this person understands what I need when it comes to love. My Venusian nature for once I feel like I could possibly “feel” love. I know people say the Moon sign is important. But for me I really like the feeling of having my Venus happy. I’m an Aquarius Moon and I’ve had Moon conjunct Moon before it’s nice. But it feels like a sibling connection. And it doesn’t feel as nice as having someone making positive aspects to my Venus.

This might be of interest…

I have Venus conjunct Venus (3 degree orb) with my partner’s ex. She’s his daughter’s Mum so still very much in his and our lives. Both her (and I) are conjunct my partners moon (all in Leo).

I was never particularly attracted to her as a friend as I’ve known them both for many years. We’ve got plenty of other similar energies as well. So on paper it’s good, in really life just neutral. People have said that we are quite similar though I don’t see it (or maybe I don’t want to!)

I have this aspect with my partner in Leo. Also sitting in that synastry cluster in Leo is his North Node and ASC, which happens to be EXACTLY conjunct my Vertex. (His NN is 2* away from my Vertex.)

We have the Venus conjunct Venus aspect as well as the Jupiter conjunct Jupiter aspect (Pisces). I don't really know what that means, but I like it that both of our benefics are conjunct! We have a 12-year age difference between us (which explains the conjunct Jupiters).

This is such an effortless and harmonious connection, moreso than any other I've ever had. And hot!! (I wonder if that has anything to do with his Mars trine my Mars??) We absolutely love looking at art together, and we are both poets (that's how we met.)
