This looks interesting, living together would trigger Venus on both sides; still I am not sure this can replace a synastric contact especially if both venuses are unaspected; at least in the long run, I am not sure it would be enough. It could be that when the two people separate, it is difficult for them to rekindle, as a possible effect here, for what you describe. direct touches to venus are something rather very important in synastry, to trigger affection and also make someone feel valued and sharing the same values and tastes, no matter the aspect. for the woman, it's a major contact to feel feminine and loved; for the man, it touches a point related to his anima, his ideal inner female he is looking for in the outer world
