Any tips and tricks you can share about this composite placement would be appreciated. Stories and comments too.

There's been too much of the bad stuff (death, psychology and addictions) and not enough of the good stuff (look above). I know sex isn't everything but it's important. Imagine a Gray-A having gotten to her wit's end saying that..

What is Mars doing in the chart?

I think Saturn in the 8th delays sex, but then makes it committed; or the people don't want to do it unless it's the real deal. The best part of the placement is the sexual commitment/devotion it can bring and an interest that doesn't fade with time.

But I agree it can manifest as a wall in need of climbing - restriction - or even total denial. I would look at Mars, 8th ruler, aspects to Mars, 8th ruler, and this Saturn, of course. Just the placement alone is not doom and gloom.

Mars is the comp chart ruler, anaretic in Gemini, in the 3rd, conjunct Mercury, trine Moon and Pluto, square Jupiter, opposite Uranus and Neptune.

I guess it really brings out the fact that we are both abuse survivors and though we dealt with it in opposite ways, we are now in this together.

It's a nightmare even because we are almost never in the mood at the same time and if we are, then surely something happens to ruin it.

It has got to be something that you express openly, what you need, how you need it, and how often. But both people have to give something, or I believe thats when resentment would start to build. Its not something you can vocalize once and expect it to be at the forefront of the mind. Talk, a lot!

I think you should plan it (take advantage of Saturn); make it like a map, a treasure hunt. Play those 3 planets.

Mars is problematic in this chart tbh. It is marginal, those aspects are wide for a composite, and 2 of them are OOS. Its valid aspect is in fact the Mercury conj. Only if it's a luminary, I think such wider aspects could work. EDIT: the one with the Moon/Pluto probably does.
The sextile is rather intelectuallized, into the platonic a little bit, with Neptune in the 9th 12th ruler. And Saturn rx sits on the mdp of this sextile. It can either prevent the manifestation of the sextile into the 8th, saying: you shall not pass OR it can manifest there IF that Saturn is consciously activated by someone or both (conscious effort)
Saturn rules MC, it's about taking conscious control of the relationship; it may decide the future of this relationship, this mdp configuration in the 8th.

I have not checked midpoints. I think this is the first time since we've been together that I am really looking at the charts. There was never any time. Sounds serious, the Saturn on MP.

This is the clue, and then the sextile. Imagine Saturn on Moon/Neptune mdp...and then Moon/Pluto Neptune mdp. It's a or or...but like with every Saturn, it calls for direct personal involvement and effort. With this chart, this part won't happen by itself...hence the opp from the Sun
