I have actually thought of this before too and it makes complete sense, Saturn and Nodes, the two things that signify karma and karmic ties touching in synastry should be one hell of a powerful feel.Although, I have no expereince with it, all the examples here are proof enough. IP: Logged |

^^^^^^A double layered karmic aspect, it seems, since both Saturn and the nodes tend to bind another planet to them in synastry, let alone if they are tied in an aspect together with each other.Another couple added to the list : Marie and Pierre Curie - considered soul mates. Dang dang..... A tight Saturn - Nodes square in the synastry. IP: Logged |

Hey, Saturn is not sexy or passionate - it's about duty and responsibility, the fear of not being dutiful and responsible, the physical existence and the concrete bonds that come from it. Anyone who says that is about hot sex and passion need their heads read. Saturn and node contacts is simply teaching the node person about structure or responsibility somehow and being dutiful somehow to them. However, if node outgrows Saturn, Saturn will get left behind because they are then seen as restricting. IP: Logged |

Yes. Mars - Saturn- conjunction DW Exact Venus-Saturn-conjunction Wide Sun-Saturn-trine Wide Venus-Saturn-trine Jupiter-Saturn-trine (the wide aspects are still only about 5 degrees) It kinda makes sense though, Saturn rules my mum`s 7th and 8th house and my Dad`s 5th house. IP: Logged |

What houses in your natal are affected by his chart? Is Neptune active? Any other karmic markers aside from Sat/South Node conj?
Orange, yeah, and I donīt even LIKE him! I guess it might have something to do with our natal charts mirroring each other in ways I have rarely seen. he must push some archetypical buttons. But, since the dreams have stayed away for many months now, maybe I can hope that whatever internal process it was that needed to activated in me, maybe its done. To be honest I am not even particularly looking forwards to see him on stage, though I know he is a much better stage actor than on screen. However, Henry V? I will be bored out of my mind. How on earth did my friend get me to agree to see it so many times? Anyway, as for your other questions. Neptune, Puto, Karma, Nodes, BML - just take your pick! It`s like someone before our birth said: Why settle for one mine-field? Let`s try to build them all into two charts and see what happens (so it is maybe a good thing we didn`t cross each other`s paths. ) Here for the visuals

^^^^ I think it's mostly contained in his natal Sun/Pluto square on top of your MC tightly conjuncting your own Venus/Pluto square. The girl's ultimate love ( natal venus on pluto) meets the boy's masculine love ( a sun square pluto man), involving the 5th, 8th and the 12th house - love, lust and illusions ( or subconsciouse). The Composite is whoa..such a nice cluster across the relationship axis IP: Logged |

My husband and I have a double whammy saturn/south node conjunction in synastry and saturn/sn are also conjunct in composite. we have been married 30 years. The aspect is very binding imo, but I can also caution anyone who gets excited about a saturn/node aspect "be careful what you wish for", as karmic bonds can become a trap, just as much as they can offer the security of longevity in a relationship.IP: Logged |

Orange I think you made a point! I saw in another thread Ami asking about saturn and obsession and before read that I felt saturn this way too since I have may aspects with it and I'm obsessed with the parts it touches in my chart. I guess we can relate saturn with obssesion because it acts like a "glue" in some way that you just can't let the other people go, so maybe in this perspective can the obsession become a passion? I think so IP: Logged |

Intriguing, if you'd consider a 5š orb. My ex-partner's SATURN is square my NODES. It can't really be opposite my CHIRON, however; orb's too wide for asteroids. It is, of course, conjunct my MOON. I don't consider it square my NODES, however. 7š? I know, I know; karmic astrology would, but ... meh. Though he and I are deeply karmic. And, as I've said -- I'm not sure if he'll ever completely go away. Though, he has been a bit nicer to me lately .... The civility is a nice change. IP: Logged |

My nodes square my babydaddy ex's Saturn... his jupiter is also conjunct my North Node, so that's cool... I super appreciate what he's brought to my life overall that's for sure! I had read that Saturn node squares never work, somewhere on these boards, some time ago... I've come to understand it's more complex than whether it works out or not (obvs.)--and that this aspect certainly can denote a very powerful presence in the life, for good and ill... Saturn styles.... we did a lot of learning together that's for sure; it is ongoing. We'll always be connected, and really the connection and understanding deepens and intensifies with the years, though distance and perspective are totally healthy and needed..

Orange, I never saw your reply to me 2 years ago. Thank you. and just for the record, Henry V was so NOT boring, not even at the final of many times watching it. And I think you are right about your interpretation, too. Auby, I would count the 5 degree orb for the square, esp. if there might be a DW, then it would come up in the composite as well. Even if not, it might be, as you put it, at least "ambient".
