If you are a Capricorn or Virgo, do you love-hate the other sign, or at least one person with the other sign?Have you ever switched over from love to hate ...and if so, what caused the switch? How did they let you down? Thanks for any replies.

Compatibility Reading: quote: Both of you are very practical, well-grounded people. You are responsible, trustworthy, and mature as well. Capricorn is a little more inclined to develop a strategy and plan for success, and have a practical scheme for advancing in career, while Virgo tends to rely more on practical scheme for advancing in career, while Virgo tends to rely more on practical skills and personal talents. Virgo enjoys providing a clear, tangible service to others. Your energies blend together well, and you can be a very effective team in business affairs and practical undertakings. It is possible that your relationship will be a bit dry or mundane, particularly if the romantic and/or sexual connections between you are not very strong. The joy, colour, and light side of life may be missing. You understand one another very well, for you have very similar temperaments, and your responses to people and to situations are quite similar. Both of you are practical and hard-working, with a strong need to be useful and productive, and to accomplish something concrete. Work, responsibilities, or business come before pleasure and play for both of you, and you may neglect your emotional needs. You downplay feelings and desires that seem childish or unrealistic. Both of you have a strong need for material security, and very much prefer a safe, logical and well-defined path, rather than taking risks. You are responsible in your dealings with others. In fact, you share a tendency to be overly conscientious, to expect too much from yourselves, and to be far too harsh with yourselves at times. Faithfulness and constancy in love and friendship are very important to you both, and you naturally feel very comfortable together, knowing you can trust one another to be reliable. Sometimes your relationship may become dry - all work and no play. You both need to relax more, and to pay more attention to your fun-loving, emotional side. Virgo tends to be intense, driven, sometimes overly zealous or wilful, and this is something few other people understand or appreciate. Virgo tends to be an extremist, wants to go all the way, and may be regarded as a fanatic by more moderate types. Capricorn, on the other hand, understands and even enjoys Virgo's intensity, while not sharing the same degree of fervour or obsessiveness. Capricorn isn't threatened by - or dominated by - Virgo's strong will and desires. In fact, Capricorn may be one of the few who can stand up to Virgo without becoming embroiled in a furious power struggle. There is a lot of passion in this relationship If you both direct your wills towards the same aims, you would be a formidable team, with Capricorn helping Virgo maintain some sense of balance and proportion. You enjoy watching movies, reading novels, discussing music and the arts, and pursuing religious or metaphysical areas together. You work well together in any area that involves a strong imaginative element. The spiritual bond between you is strong, and as you spend time together, you ideals and your sense of purpose in life becomes more refined and intertwined. Loyalty, stability, and commitment characterise this relationship, which is destined to be a long-lasting one. Because you are consistently there for one another, and can be counted on for practical as well as emotional support, a solid feeling of security builds between you. As time goes on, the history you share becomes a strong force binding you two together. Your relationship becomes a great source of strength for each of you. Together you are fairly realistic, not expecting more than another human being is capable of providing. You'll also do well in any long-term investing or joint ownership of property. Handling of finances is a major issue in your relationship. Deciding how to increase income, how to wisely spend money, and how to develop financial security becomes a big issue, and major problems can arise if either of you ignores or overlooks your partner's view in these matters. You will learn a lot about handling money and resources and how to develop material security in this relationship, and hopefully any difficult lessons will not cause serious regrets. Virgo, in particular, should be wary of the tendency to be overly critical of the way that Capricorn handles finances and should try not to interfere too much with Capricorn's decisions in this regard. Capricorn should not try to be overly sensitive to Virgo's suggestions and should try to extract the useful, valuable suggestions and ignore the rest. As your relationship develops, a powerfully emotional bonding develops. Your feelings for each other are intense and can also be rather complex. Jealousy is possible and if things go wrong, you can hate each other with the same intensity that you once loved each other. If you marry or pool your resources but later separate from each other, you will have an extremely difficult time disentangling your mutually owned property, and you are likely to argue intensely over proper division of your joint assets. The physical and sexual attraction between the two of you is very strong. You are attracted to one another's strength and integrity. You may also enjoy competing with each other in games. However, be wary of a tendency to become rivals or adversaries, trying to out-perform each other. There may be competition against one or other on who should climax first. Capricorn tries to dominate the sexual perfection.

Never have found one i could open up to a romantic/sexual relation. I can be friends with them but i feel stifled emotionally when i spend alot of time around a cap Sun.Ive always assumed it was because they square my venus/pluto... IP: Logged |

I'm a Capricorn Moon, and it's true Virgos get on my nerves, in spite of the fact I have Virgo on the cusp of my 5th, so maybe? But I'm also an Aries Sun, which might have more to do with it. IP: Logged |

Nah I don't hate the virgos I know. I'm close with one, he's pretty cool. He's good at reading people - well more like analyzing people, because he pays attention to details and has common sense. He's very consistent and caring. His patience rivals even my s.o's. It pains me to see some people taking advantages of it. Our friendship has a bit of a "sibling" undertone, he's older than me and he likes me, hence he feels that it is only natural to think of me and treat me like his younger sister. Well he always addresses me as "younger sister". LOl. The downside is that he always cautions me against doing reckless things in his older brother voice. Bahhhh. But it's ok. I often just roll my eyes and pout. This kind of non-whiny nagging I don't hate.
I don't think adopting people is a part of his personality traits however. Because as far as I know, he doesn't have that kind of sibling relationship/friendship with anyone else. I'd probably check our synastry later to see if there's anything that can explain it. It could be just me. I think I look for "family" among people who aren't my flesh and blood. Therefore I find people like him. I wonder if that's the result of having cancer sn and desc in the 7th house. I have known him for a very long time. People who knew us were surprised that we did not fall in love. Our connection is purely platonic. There was one virgo girl, we used to like each other at first. Shared a mutual love for books, ya see. But then we sort of drifted apart. We just didn't have much in common. She believed in traditional gender roles a great deal, and it irked her to some extent that I disliked having such things pushed onto me. She voiced her displeasure once "But it is expected of you" - she said. But other than that she was a nice person. Shared her sister's beauty, not personality - thank the lords.
And I graced her older sister a new hole coz that person messed with me and crossed a bunch of lines. I suppose that ended our fragile ties for good. IP: Logged |

Same issue here...simular at least, cap is even on my IC/Eros/Valentine Maybe if a cap Sun sat exact on that conjunction i could get into them?

INTERESTING... I have never hated a virgo, so I wouldn't go that far... but there is something about virgos that tends to irk me. I am cap sun, so I get along with the pragmatism and the desire to get ahead, and I am just as much an OCD neatfreak as the rest of them. BUT.... I find a lot of Virgos too harsh, and a bit judgmental. I dated one Virgo for almost 4 years, and we will always be friends, but I pretty much fell out of love when his constant "holier than thou" attitude just kept getting worse. My Mom is a virgo, and we've certainly had battles and she gets on my nerves... but at the end of the day, I love her and she isn't doing me harm. So I'd say, of zodiac signs Virgo is NOT a big offender to me... and I have a lot of Virgo friends.. but there issss a weird kind of friction there. IP: Logged |

But when you get a Virgo mars and Cap mars together it's a good weird friction. Off topic though. IP: Logged |

I'm a cap moon with a virgo SN and i have a really hard time with virgo energy... because i see that which i really dislike in myself i guess, that which hasn't been integrated in a healthy way... i really dislike criticism for the sake of criticism (what a paradox, to dislike something and criticize it for being critical--classic Virgo SN...)My POF is in Virgo though and i know it's good for me to have things be clean and organized n stuff. Heh. And i appreciate the discernment and responsibility of Virgo, though to be brutally honest it seems a little contrived and superficial--though i know it's genuine it still seems so nitpicky and surface level--from the Scorp/Cappy perspective I've got going on... I got along well with the lunar side of my baby's father who is a Virgo moon. I think Cap Moon-Virgo Moon is a good mix. He was a Sagittarius Sun with Venus Scorpio etc etc so.... i dunno... i find it hard to isolate aspects but... yeah. IP: Logged |

Here is a song about the status of my experience with a cap sun: http://youtu.be/E9PTgYc8bPU It has sucked for me. Neither one of us are honest with each other or anyone else about our feelings, so I have to look away, run away, get away. The hate is just acting. I feel like I have no choice. 🤐😣 He's just on my last nerve. IP: Logged |

@DopGang & yungangThanks for chiming in quote: though i know it's genuine it still seems so nitpicky and surface level--from the Scorp/Cappy perspective I've got going on...
LOL My Cap sun sees it differently though; like, nothing ever has seemed surface level between me and Virgo, except when we are deliberately trying to climb out of the deep spot this throws us into...it gets heavy pretty fast. IP: Logged |

No--indeed--and with us neither (me and my Virgo lol)--but the Virgo-ness itself seems--small minded--as opposed to big-minded Piscean... small not bad--just--small; focused--hard to describe IP: Logged |

That aspect can generate attraction. My ex Sun squares my venus and mars and I love being around him so I am thinking there is other reasons why you don't like caps... I typically don't feel drawn to caps romantically either but I do have a crush on Grant Gustin, I just checked and his mars conjucts exact my South Node! So I am thinking that me not liking caps romantically has more to do with just not coming across one that caught my attention and who I have a nice synastry with. My Ac senseptiles his Venus-Eros which also opposes my Eros-Angel. My valentine conjuncts his southnode, my amor conjuncts his psyche, my anteros-Laura conjuncts his pluto-juno-true lilith which is the point of Thales between my mercury opposite moon. Also my anteros-laura square his nodes along with his true lilith-pluto-juno. His sun trines my sun and sextiles my moon which forms a YOD with my Venus-Mars conjunction. He has these super dreamy eyes and a very sweet kind mellow vibe, I bet his Neptune is right on his MC: I loooove his freckles and you can tell he has that really warm skin to the touch that is also soft.. ^Yep I would give him my heart for sure.@Faith: the only cap I have had this love and hate thing is with my mom; I adore her and can't stand her half of the time but my dad is a cap and we are great, he never gets on my nerves. I will add my synastry with both in a few here...

I love that this thread came up, because I'm a virgo woman, and I always seem butt heads with capricorn men!! I never understood why. It also really annoys me that I try to get along with them and can't succeed! lol I used to have a best friend in grade school that was a cap woman, so I don't think I have a problem there.... Let me say first that my intent is not to offend anyone with my attitude towards cap men. I know not all cap men are the same... I actually met one cap man in Costa Rica when I was traveling and we had an awesome connection. I still think of him, but he was the only one out of 5-6ish men I know in my life. Friends I know, and boyfriends of my friends I am never able to really get along with. I'm not sure why. I want to get along with them, and I have had sexual attraction to a lot of capricorn men, but something about their attitude makes my intelligence feel belittled. I don't like feeling like they condescend to me, and that they know best. I don't like looking to them for answers to questions or situations, because I like to depend on my own intelligence. I guess their attitude rubs me the wrong way. Not to mention I have moon in aries and jupiter, uranus, saturn in sag and aries...so once I know you, I have a tendency to act with a lot of fire, and I see them as kinda boring because they can't loosen up. I do like how they like to be in charge, and how grounded they are. I need some of that with my impulsiveness at times. On that note, does anyone have any tips that I could try next time I am around a Cap to maybe get along better? IP: Logged |
