I'm thinking now more about a nodal overlay involving the 2nd and 8th houses. I need to keep working with this one because my friend and I have this as well as my ex and I. His NN in my 8th, his SN in my 2nd house conjunct my Uranus and Saturn. Our house overlays are kinda dreamy overall, I've never had especially "good" house overlays in any of my relationships, at least not good for romance so I'm grateful for that... over simplifying off topic over here... just kinda wondering about the nodal 8th/2nd overlay. I haven't read the other replies.
I've known a few cases with this placement. The 2nd H person feels safe, it's a boost to his/her self esteem and gains materials/money too in some way from the planet person.
Unless we are talking about Saturn/Uranus/Neptune which would change the meaning above. I've heard the same about someone's planet falling in your 8th H. The planet gives the 8th H person many things both emotional and material but for some reason it doesn't make the 8th H person feel good about it as it's with the 2nd H. I've known a guy who had his Moon, Venus and Mars all in Aqua (my 8th H) and he wanted to know everything about me very quickly, he wanted to know my problems, to be in a relationship with me, to give me money or any kind of help.
He was generally a cool type it was weird how he would treat me like that.
I never told him any personal info I mean it was just 2 months I knew him and he would be like that since the first 2 weeks.
He would tell me he trusted me for some weird reason and wanted to know everything about me and that he would tell me anything I would like to know about him.
When I saw he had so much Aqua I was like WHAAAAAT????
Plus all of his Aqua planets were opposite my Venus, Mars and Jup in my 2nd. He felt a bit pushy and I was suffocating since I'm slow. It's like I gelt that he meant what he said but still. Also my Moon wasn't aspected by any of his planets IP: Logged |

I know what you mean about the 8th house placements. My Moon is in this guys 8th house and that’s how I feel about him. But I give him space and try not to be so pushy. I had offered to give him money to help him get his own place. I’ve sent him things like a hard for his birthday and on Christmas. I wanted to put money in the them but I didn’t. Because I felt that would be too much. Especially since we hardly know each other. I gave him a Starbucks gift card instead. I have Moon in Aquarius so it’s weird but his Moon trines my Sun. I like doing nice things for him he’s always working so hard.

I have 4th and 2nd house synastry with a friend. My Mercury and Sun fall in their 4th house. And their Moon falls in my 4th house. My Moon falls in their 2nd house and their Mars and Sun fall in my 2nd house. I'm ok with the 4th house synastry but I don't know how I feel about the 2nd house synastry. For a while, I was the one giving to them. But recently they have been giving me things.IP: Logged |

I have no idea in terms of gifts.
Bu what I will say is that this is a Taurus (2nd) and Scorpio (8th) accent, which includes the eight house plants of the natals. Pretty hot and attractive
