Here am I with a question about an isolated aspect
Please help. Does anyone have that book "The Mercury Method of Chart Comparison"? Could you be the biggest dear and copy out Mercury opposition Mercury? You would get good karma candy raining from the heavens sent by express air mail from me
(joking... but hopeful anyway!)Conversely (and equally appreciated!):
Have you had this in synastry? Witnessed it much or any? Can you tell me anything about it? Has it worked out ok for anybody?
I have trouble seeing my own situation objectively (duh)... We have this aspect in synastry, my Mercury 10 Scorpio his Mercury 7 Taurus (his chart ruler).
His Mercury is trine my Moon-Neptune and actually completes a mystic rectangle in my chart involving Moon-Nep, Mercury(-Pluto) and Chiron, pretty tight. So that's nice.
But my Mercury mainly just opposes his. Well it also is semisextile his Jupiter (which is at the midpoint of my Moon-Mercury), biquintile his ascendant, quintile his Pallas, quintile his Mean Black Moon, trine his Juno.
.... ok I'm feeling a bit better. It's also widely conjunct his vertex.
But today I'm feeling especially inhibited, anxious, sad. I brought up my feeling that he isn't interested in listening to me sometimes. He can be pretty self involved and I feel like I don't get enough chances to express my feelings and thoughts. Trying not to get all wrapped up in self pity. We often communicate really well and I feel hard and listened to on deep levels.... or at least I enjoy his responses and value his mind so much... yes, I really appreciate his mind... I just wonder if he appreciated mine. Lopsided Mercury activation. Maybe it's ok. I can communicate emotively with my Moon-Neptune...
Maybe it will pass. Maybe it's Juno transiting over our composite South Node today exact (I love Juno transits for stirring things up and not accepting business as usual if business as usual ain't fair! I do. I love her. But it's hard! I'm always bringing up issues on these Juno transit days... I'm not afraid though. Soon t.Juno and t.Lilith will be conjunct as Juno backtracks over my ascendant again and they will be conjunct on my natal Vesta so we'll see how that plays out! If the relationship is meant to survive it will need to contend with my Vesta-Ascendant on Juno-Lilith steroids!)
Thank you for reading and for your consideration.
I can't find much meat at all on Mercury-Mercury oppositions in synastry so I hope this thread serves some public good.
