I think the answer to whether this aspect is manageable depends on either Saturn or Jupiter's aspects to personal planets within natal. I may be wrong. I'm going on very limited experience and no reading (lol), but if a natives Jupiter is conjunct her Moon or something like that, then Jupiter is going to influence who she is more intimately making the square to Saturn very personal and difficult. Of course the sign and house will have influence. I have Jupiter conjunct Mercury. He had Saturn conjunct Mercury. It was an opposition, but I think our Mercuries in play really gave me a feel for Jupiter and Saturn in a challenging aspect to one another. Jupiter has a lot of faith and hopefulness, but may lack structure, and so may be ineffective and unconvincing in arguments, because Jupiter has been unable to manifest anything other than theory. Saturn has structure and order, but is blinded to reality, possibility, and opportunity by fear and a pride used to hide fear. Probably in the trine and sextile, these two can lead from each other. In the opposition they can learn from a distance. Idk about the conjunction or square. Maybe the houses and signs will show where there is a blockage due to differing philosophies in life. IME, it's a "fun spoiler" aspect. Saturn: Stop being so happy! Jupiter: Stop being so boring! IP: Logged |

It has to do with religion and race.. beliefs.I have the exact opposition in synastry with someone and he is persian jewish and would only marry a jewish persian girl for his parents.. they have weird beliefs. thats how it played out for us.. and iQ stated this as well. Im Jupiter he is Saturn. IP: Logged |

I don't know how its playing out yet, but I would agree with the religion aspect.I have the square at 1 degree with my man, me being Saturn and him Jupiter. He is very religious and very comfortable talking about it. I am not, and in the beginning I was uncomfortable with all the religious talk. I think it's pretty wide, but we almost have the trine too. My Jupiter to his Saturn, at 6 degrees. As I got to know him, it quit making me uncomfortable. Now I know it's just the way he is. Though we are both Christians, we have pretty different upbringings. And I am pretty resistant to religion, so that must be my Saturn peeking out. IP: Logged |

It's not boring. It's a common aspect found in the charts of many long term couples. IP: Logged |

Thanks, guys. quote: It's not boring.
*pat pat*I'm Saturn in the synastry with my friend and yeah, I'm the Grumpy Cat here but I can't be too bad if she still wants to talk to me, right? The orb is 3. Her Venus is exactly conjunct her Jupiter to make it more fun With my celeb object of interest I'm Jupiter and it's actually a t-square if we add my Venus. The orb is 1. I'm particularly interested in this square because these planets rule our ICs. Another interesting thing: he's Saturn and my Jupiter is in his 10th. I'm Jupiter and his Saturn is in my 9th. ------------------ The first psychic femdroid on the market. IP: Logged |
