Topic: Venus conjunct ascendant in synastry: your experience.

I've met a few weeks ago or a month? a guy and I think his face is the most beautiful face I ever saw! Seriously, this is ridiculous. His Venus conjuncts my Ascendant. I admire his beauty so much  . I'm very surprised about his physic, I'm not kidding. This never happened to me. I mean, I see men and women and I can think they are beautiful but that's it. We also have Moon/Pluto and Sun/Mars double whammy? I don't know if that's important  .
I want to know others experiences! I think I love this aspect  .
I have this same aspect with a singer and I also think he is so beautiful.

Yeah the person thinks you're beautiful,you're their type!! Great aspect.I noticed that it can happen with ASC and with the venus person.But usually only one of them feel the effect!! Dont know why though!IP: Logged |

i've had this as well. i don't like it. it's very superficial b/c you get so focused on how handsome/beautiful they are that you overlook relationship issues and problems. usually one person will feel it much more towards the other, although all the attention and flattery and interest from person A usually gets person B interested too. it's a good connection, though, but primarily physically-based.IP: Logged |

not the same. venus is what we find physically appealing/beautiful and appeals to that artistic side and what pleases the eye. moon/asc will give an emotional comfort for sure, but not the compelling physical attraction like venus-asc. venus-asc often ends up in marriage charts (where man is venus and female ASC) because guys really dote on the gal who touches their venus and allow beauty to rule their hearts :-) IP: Logged |

Sweet Story, Faith. My parents have that, too. my mom`s Venus conjuncts my Dad`s ASC exact, but it is part of a bigger stellium, actually it`s her Venus-Mars-conjunction falling onto his Saturn-ASC. IP: Logged |

Thanks, Ceri! The early days of that relationship are some fond memories for me, full of excitement because I didn't know what was going to happen with it. I'm glad your parents have it, too. One of my greatest loves had his Venus conjunct my ASC. His Merc and Sun were there as well, though.I loved everything about him from his mannerisms to the way he dressed. His voice made me forget there were other people around. It was intense and the attraction was instant . Leo, go big or go home. He was smitten with me and made sure everyone knew it. Then one night he begged me to be his. Told me how beautiful he thought I was every time he laid eyes on me, whether it be waking up next to me or seeing me after having spent time apart. It was very affectionate and expressive affair. I loved him dearly and still to this day when we're around each other we orbit each other one or the other under the other's scrutiny. We recently attended a barbecue for a shared friend. No matter where I was (and it was a large park setting), he was where he could watch me. And I caught him doing multiple times. To the point that even others noticed. I can't say I haven't done the same to him, so I'm not judging or uncomfortable. I understand him completely. IP: Logged |

My Venus conjunct an Ex's ASC 1 degree. The relationship was abusive and destructive but he seems to like me still, he still texts me sometimes as if we are going to resume out relationship. When we dated he treated me badly but would look at me lovingly and tell me he loved me. Lol it was very confusing.IP: Logged |

I had that in progressions, and it really did work.My pASC was conjunct my greatest "love"'s pVenus, exact. I was sooo in love with them. And they were legit the most beautiful/attractive person I'd ever seen. I still think that to this day... It was mutual; but nothing ever came out of it except for a lot of pain and bittersweet memories.

I agree..I have this with someone who I grew to love. Also the dad of my kids we have double whammy my Venus in libra almost on his asc and his Venus in aqua almost in mine. Also a guy who had a mutual crush on me since Jr HS and I have a lot of his planets in my first home/asc - I was head over heels in love w him. He has many similar placements as the father of my kids, which is eerie. quote:

There was a study many years ago which included brain imaging. The results showed that when women were looking at the person they were in love with, the memory portion of the brain lit up. However when men looked at someone they were in love with, it was the visual part of the brain that lit up for them. In other words- looks tend to matter a lot when it comes to how much a man loves his woman. While with women, it's more a man's actions of the past- ie, what has he DONE for her attentions that is most important.As soon as I read about this study the classic Vedic astrology trope that Jupiter is what signifies what a woman goes for in a husband (Jupiter is about faith and to have faith in someone they have to DO things to earn it) and Venus is what a man goes for in a wife. (Venus is about appearance and beauty.) Hence, If it is a man's Venus that is conjunct the ascendant of a woman it is much better than the other way around because looks are what gets him hooked. It is superficial, but according to science (and ancient astrology) men are much more so than women and this synastry combination can make him hooked if other things in the chart don't get in the way.
