I know a girl here in college who has Virgo in Venus, the planet of love, beauty, sensuality, pleasure, and is the planet that represents a woman's femininity. So, you can imagine what Virgo being connected to her Venus does to her. Yup, she has that virginal, good girl quality about her.

This girl is so beautiful, very smart (science major), killer humor, and is the definition of sweet and kind. People are always raving about how nice she is as a person.

Yet, she's NEVER had a boyfriend. Even in high school when she was a star volleyball player, voted Homecoming queen, and was as popular as it gets. You'd think someone like this would have at least ONE boyfriend by now. Nope, never dated any guy. I've asked her about this, and she simply says she can't help but feel picky and discriminating. She can't help but have high standards, and think every guy she meets isn't good enough. She's looking for the absolute best guy that has all the qualities she wants in a man, and won't settle for anything less. And this is just dating. Forget about casual sex like what most college girls do. Getting MOST Venus in Virgo girls to have casual sex with someone they barely know, a one night stand, a fling, whatever, would be like getting a die hard vegan to watch a cow get slaughtered, cut up, cooked, and have them eat the meat of the cow they watched get slaughtered. Yeah, good luck with that. These women are usually THAT unwavering in their choice to remain a virgin or single until that TRULY special guy finally wins their heart.

This is a CLASSIC Virgo effect on the Venus planet in a lot of women's charts. This describes A LOT of Venus in Virgo girls. Not all, obviously, other planets that are aspected play a big role too. It's worth noting this girl has a Libra Sun, a Sagittarius Moon and a Sagittarius Ascendant (Rising). Sag Moon/Rising tend to cherish freedom and the ability to do whatever they want and be themselves. They LOVE their freedom, and hate being contained and restricted. Her Libra Sun makes her value and actually CRAVE a loving, romantic relationship, but that Venus in Virgo and Sagittarius influence (and whatever natal aspects they form) just puts a steel cage around her heart, of which she'll give the key to only someone truly and utterly special to her, who she deems absolutely worthy, after much time of evaluation and thought.

She also has a pretty tight Venus in Virgo Square Ascendant in her natal chart. I'm not sure what that would mean, maybe someone can explain it.

Venus in Virgo is it's own story, for sure...something about this combo sometimes makes for an almost ridiculous practicality when it comes to romance... And it might not emerge until later. I have a friend with this placement. His Scorpio Sun partner broke up with him after they had a child together and lived together and everything.... she was wanting more spice to life, more energy put into the romantic side of the relationship. I never saw her chart, I only know her Sun placement... but most folks need a little more romance than this one (she might have had a fire Venus..). For my friend with Venus in Virgo, folding socks and making nutritious smoothies and taking care of household stuff and having a long term plan was plenty romance.

When he was telling me about it, he said that he figured they could have romantic nights when the kid was all grown up (she was about 4 when they broke up)...! He meant it too. He was trying to romance me at the time. He is a wonderful person and emotional and interested in many things, but the nature of his interest (or lack of it) in romance has him in a certain state. At that point in our conversation, when he told me that about his ex, he visibly realized that he had no interest in actually enhancing me. It was really interesting. He left and played frisbee with a friend and I totally understood why.

Yep Venus in Virgo can be pretty strange... I mean there are other factors obviously...but yeah

Yeah, the trines is less intense than the conjunction, square and opposite, but it carries less of the destabilizing factors of the three. It seem the trines (and this is especially true if they are virtually exact) of Venus/Uranus and Venus/Neptune in synastry show the feeling of excitement, strong attraction, feeling of otherwordly love, magnetic attraction is not super intense like those other three, but it has the best potential to make the feelings I listed above last LONGER.
