This is supposed to be the magical connection between partners. I had this with my long term ex and also have this with my current partner. In both cases their Moon is conjunct my Sun. It is a very familiar, friendly, close connection, heart warming, but in the same time in both cases it felt like more of a friendship for me, there is not much romantic passion or something missin and I can't put my finger on it. Also in both cases I think they loved me more... Now with this current partner I'd really wish to make it work, but this familiarity just somehow block the romance..Or maybe my self-acceptance (Sun) issues are not letting me open up to them romantically?Does anyone have experience with their Sun conj partners Moon? One of the longest friendship I have we have Moon conjunct Moon exact, even though we have Sun square Sun it does feel familiar and even better feels like no matter what he gets me emotionally. On the other hand guys I've dated I always have Sun square Moon double whammy with the current guy I'm dating and somehow feels familiar though we drive each other crazy for sure, he doesn't get my Pisces Moon and I have a hard time with his Libra Moon and what he wants... I have not had this in romantic relationships but i have a close girl friend whose Moon is near my Sun. She adores me and I can't figure out why. She always announces me as her best friend and I always feel awkward. She is over the top. I like her and consider her a friend and in the beginning it was a very fast, very close friendship, but then her mars on my pluto blew things up and I have been hesitant ever since. IP: Logged |

I'm waiting for him to be single again. No way for him to forget about me. Yearss ey. I guess there's balance whaha. My moon on his sun (within 2)Well it's simple; I feel at TOTAL piece with him. Rare thing u know, not at all about sex (that would really be our last priority, wow what a luxe! - it does exist!;d) He's MY guy. The scorp luminaries. IP: Logged |

I have a lot of people on my moon - like loads. My sister (<2deg), my son (<2deg), one of my team at work (<2deg), two colleagues in a former job (<1-2deg), a former colleague in this job (<1deg), a fellow manager in this job (<1deg).And I met a guy online the other day who had his sun less than 1deg off my moon as well. We got on amazing - like clicked from the word go, was brilliant. BUT - here's the problem with all these contacts, I have sun square moon natally, exact (7minutes). So anyone on my moon, is also square my sun, so there tends to be a fairly up and down relationship with all of these people. It's a good example that synastry is never just about one contact or one interaspect - the natals are so important as well. (Incidentally, the guy from the other day also has sun square moon, so he has it natally, his moon opposite my sun - and composite obviously has sun-square-moon as well. Sadly, due to bizarre circumstances, looks like we're never going to meet up, if we had though - it would have been tempestuous I reckon!) IP: Logged |

I totally get this. Once you get scorped, there's no going back The scorp in my life has a sun-merc-saturn stellium opposite my sun, square my moon, his moon parallel mine in same sign. He is the only person I have ever met who can calm me merely by being next to me. It's an extraordinary feeling for a fiery leo moon like me ha. It'll also be years before we get a shot. But if the chance comes up, I would take it in a heartbeat. IP: Logged |

I don't love it, I had it with a partner - his Moon conjunct my Sun and it seemed to give us a false value of closeness. The passion wasn't missing, in fact it was the friendship that was. We felt connected at the beginning, only to find we had no real emotional bond at all, just a bit of 'glue'. I put this down in part to the conjunction falling in Aquarius and it's really not a great place for the moon, they so often intellectualise instead of feeling. Since I have Moon in Cancer I'm really the opposite, I live for my feelings. I continue to have a lot of friends with Moon conjunct my Sun, as I don't need to get too deep emotionally, and don't notice the disparity that way :-) For the other way around, because my Moon is conjunct Saturn on one side and square Pluto on the other, it's not ideal really either. There can be a mild attraction but it's, as yet, never taken off and I imagine I could be inclined to feel like 'the bad guy' with Pluto square their Sun. One of my favourite observed synastry connections is Moon conjunct Moon but again, probably not one that would work for me. Interestingly I tend to date fire Moons, as one overly emotional person in a relationship is enough, but somebody who can be empathic and lift the energy, is usually just right for me personally. ------------------ blog: http://waxlobster.blogspot.co.uk/ New horoscopes just posted for January to March 2018!!! I dated one guy whose Moon was conjunct my Sun but I didn't really like him (and I don't know if he really liked me either), he did make me feel good but it was not romantic ...I also have a Sun-Moon conjunction DW with a friend of mine and I feel incredibly comfortable with him, he's really cute and nice with me but there is absolutely nothing romantic between us and there's no way I could even picture myself with him ... I think this aspect creates comfort but it might not be enough for romance ? I don't know, just my small experience ^^ IP: Logged |

Scorp-Moon totally agrees with this when it comes to Aqua-Moon men!! (We already live in an overly rational society so we do not need this! - ) Loved your entire comment btw. IP: Logged |

Thanks Mir :-)Yes even my rational Aquarius Sun can't understand why you would want to try to find logic in feelings! Scorpio Moons are wonderfully intuitive and insightful, my Mercury in Pisces & Moon in Cancer resonate very well with your deep waters. :-) ------------------ blog: http://waxlobster.blogspot.co.uk/ New horoscopes just posted for January to March 2018!!! 1st Quarter Moon . You? Is there a different implication between those two in Astrology? IP: Logged |

FQ = first quarter Yes, definitely different natures, I would say "opposing natures".. hardly acknowlegded those waxing/waning differences but it should be the first thing to consider if you think about it. The FQ's (1st quarter) - outward battle / LQ (last quarter) - inward struggle (to put it widely). I once had a great link about it which I shared here even twice but wonder if I can find it.. @Waxlob.. that Aqua Sun of yours already went through my mind for the same reason (another inch and I would've shared) ;D
Jupiter right on IC in scorp too here so enough watery ground to accept that Merc-Merc opp. between us @ Venus too in Cancer! IP: Logged |

I never get the cool aspects in synastry. I always wanted to understand what this one felt like. But no. Every single time a guy asks me out it's always Saturn square mars or Saturn square moon or Pluto square mars. Karma sucks. IP: Logged |

I have this aspect in synastry with someone I deeply care about. His Sun conjunct my Moon. I known him for like 7 years. I see him as my true soulmate but we will never be together in this lifetime. We are both in relationships and very far away from each other. Best to have this aspect when its HIS Sun and HER Moon. IP: Logged |
