I have read that having Saturn in the 12th house can be a difficult placement. That its can bring isolation to the native seeing as it is in the house of fears and restriction. Im interested in knowing if anyone has experianced Sun, Moon or Mercery conjunct someones Saturn in the 12th house.Would the Saturn native experiance this as very positive or too intense. Others may disagree with me, but I don't think it's a difficult placement unless it's making bad aspects. Saturn in the 12th can mean that the saturn's person's disciplinary ways and ways of working come off mysterious. They can appear irresponsible to the house person. I don't think it's that bad of a placement. Now SUN in the 12th house- THat's one to really keep an eye on. IP: Logged |

Here's another thread on it: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum10/HTML/002472.html It's an interesting idea the planet of boundaries being in the house of no boundaries. Maybe the Saturn person will feel the sense of nebulousness of the other person's 12H and get a secondhand impression of wistful other worldliness and have their fears triggered because it will strip the Saturn of it's boundaries. What the SATURN (edit) person does with this depends on the rest of their chart and the aspects to that Saturn. And also how that Saturn person relates to Pisces/12H energy - whether or not they can relate to it in some way, feel endeared by it, and therefore will be able to accommodate and manage it. The Saturn person if fearful though being in that boundless space, may project onto the house person. The house person may be viewed as in some way boundless, undisciplined, lost at sea, wishy washy, directionless, useless, deceitful or evasive etc. And then, being Saturn may fearfully deride, lash (if Mars gets activated) or criticise the house person. I don't imagine Saturn would be great in this house. Will the house person feel low level like they can't relax? Or will they feel low level supported and guided? I'm not sure. The 12H IS a sextile to 10H (Saturn ruled house). And Caps are pretty protective with Pisces. And Saturn does like to parent. So, maybe either way, depending on the aspects? Or maybe it starts this way until the boundless energy of the 12H kicks in and then the fears with it. Just my random ponderings on it.

Thank you both for your replies sass aqua thank you for the link. To me the 12th house seems like the house of "hard lessons". I might be totally wrong about this. And in synastry the house owner is the one that receives the lesson. Usually the lesson involves something that is hard for 12th house person to see or face. So when someone hits your 12th house with their personal planets there is a lot to be learned for the house person. And when your saturn is in the 12th house, and someone personal planets conjunct your saturn in the 12th house...difficult lesson? karmic lessons? Anyway I like to see Saturn in synastry. But saturn conjunct 3 personal planets of another, including sun and moon, seems like a lot to deal with IP: Logged |

It's an interesting dynamic to ponder, for sure.I mean, there are always interps on Google (eg: https://neptunesauraastrology.wordpress.com/2015/09/11/saturn-in-partners-12th-house/), but I find questions like this, yours here, impel questioning and reflection on the deeper natures of the planets and houses. And from which we all learn deeper too. Why i enjoy the questions! Conjunctions with the Saturn in that 12H is a different question altogether. Aspects add another layer altogether in every case.

I definitely agree with you there Sassaqua. I like how you described it "planet of boundaries being in the house of no boundaries". It must make for an interesting dynamic. And indeed Saturn likes to parent. So yes maybe the 12th house Saturn person is the teacher here. IP: Logged |
