Whenever I’ve had a man’s mars Conjunct my venus ive never felt any sort of attraction for them. My Venus only aspects my MC by conjunction and semi sextiles my Saturn.

You don’t necessarily have to have planets in Gemini. Maybe they are a sag rising with mercury conjunct their MC. Or, they have Mercury conjunct Saturn, or just something that corresponds to your natal placements. Or, their Mercury conjunct your ASC. Idk! 🤪

My husband has a Capricorn DSC. His moon (which supposedly rules the wife in a man’s chart) is conjunct his MC (the house of Capricorn). I have a Cap moon. The most exact aspect to my sun/asc is a trine from Saturn (which is exalted in Libra in my chart). Plus, I’m a Gemini; he has a 3rd house Virgo sun. Both Mercury ruled. I have a 7th house moon - I tend to attract Cancers, or people with a prominent moon/4th house. This all relates to what Bismarck’s tryna say below.

There are just so many factors to consider. It’s important to know your attractions patterns. Like that thing you have for Sag risings lol. Hikaru29 likes mars/mars and mars/pluto!

Saturn rules my 8th house. Normally, I love conjunctions to my 5th house Saturn. Others don’t really like it though!! Lol... 😫 Losers! 😒

Of the three, aspecting the house ruler should be the most important. Placing planets in houses isn't that effective unless said planets makes important aspects to other planets or angles. Symbolism matching might make you someone's type, but without aspects, energy isn't flowing.

I think it all matters: aspects, symbolism, house overlays, pattern completion, draconic synastry, natal preferences.

Venus rules my 5th house, so I guess mars conjunct my Venus and trine my moon is extra potent for me! 😊

I’ve had Mars conjunct my moon and trine my Venus that didn’t do much for me. The conjunctions to my moon was close too. Plus, my moon is only 2ish degrees from my 8th house cusp. Depending on whether it’s an applying or separating conjunction, it falls in my 7th or 8th house. That means I basically have my 5th, 7th, and 8th houses activated with the traditional masculine/feminine energies. I’m not saying I wasn’t attracted to these guys, but they were more attracted to me than I was to them.

This is why astrology is considered a pseudoscience. It’s so complicated! But, that just makes me one very entertained Gemini!!!

@ReachingForTheStars,

I also have 7H Moon and attract Cancers! But why Cancer and not Libra? I mean, I attract Libra energy too but wondering why this house placement attracts Cancers.

And yes for Mars/Mars. Works so much better for me. Venus/Moon as well. I like the sweetness so much.

Lunar energy in your relationship house. AKA flavors what's being projected onto the other person.

This article is a really good one. https://cafeastrology.com/relationship_potential.html

"Venus oppositions in the natal chart can also point to projection. The other planet (the planet that Venus opposes) may be projected onto partners in love relationships. With Moon oppositions in the natal chart, we may project our own emotional state onto others, and, as a result, experience the other planet in our intimate relationships."

And I have Venus opposite Moon/Neptune! Lol. Never understood the desire for Victim/Saviour relationship though. I like a strong partner who has his sh*t together like myself. Yes to a spiritual connection.

7th house ruler, Jupiter in Aries 11th house trine Sag Moon/Neptune, sextile Gemini Asc, square Cancer Saturn, opp Libra Pluto.

Very busy.

I think Venus/Mars aspects to the ASC and sun are more indicative of physical attraction. Neptune aspects for romance, lunar aspects for emotional attraction. Venus/Mars for physical intimacy. Pluto and Saturn for attachment.

I don't know his ToB. I THINK he told me he was born when the sun was rising but don't rely on this info.

Other than the horrible squares in Composite, tell me why this r/s is so bad.

He's Sag sun in blue.

Again, because his ToB unclear. House placements not accurate.

All that neptune in the composite tells me you were very attracted to him at first, but that you ultimately became disillusioned. This makes sense, otherwise why else would you have dated them?

Haha, nope. We started off as friends and I was not romantically attracted to him at all because he wasn't my type. He later went through a friend to get close to me and got her to put in a lot of good words for him so my friend, believing that he was such a "good catch", encouraged me to give him a chance. So although I wasn't really attracted I decided to go out with him. I gradually fell for him because he was really sweet & nice to me at the beginning, very gentlemanly etc.

Short 2 mths after we were into a r/s his mask came off. He became critical, manipulative and bossy and I realised that's the real him (thus the Neptune disillusion). He was good at putting up a show in public but will spit fire at me in private. When I finally cut him off I was surprised at how fast I moved on... that's when I realised that I'd never really loved him.

NN relationships can be hard, especially with the node at your dsc. It may not be the most comfortable experience. I have the same rising and planets as you do in my 7th, except my asc is at 16 gem instead and my moon is at 9 degrees cap. My Neptune is in the late degrees of sag.

We have a DW sun venus conjunction. I have this with my sister in law. I enjoy our conversations.

I was more curious about why you prefer Mars/Mars and Mars/Pluto. Your 7th house ruler is in Aries. Maybe its that? A separating conjunction to your mars tSquares your moon Venus. I think you like having Mars there because of that. I don’t like squares to my Venus but maybe you do!!!! Maybe that’s what works for you. Maybe you long for those with the caring and emotional qualities of Pisces to balance the philosophical/intellectualism of your moon/Venus opposition. Maybe conjunctions to the ends of this opposition makes you feel off balance. I don’t have challenges to my Venus in my natal chart. So, when someone with planets in Leo and Aqua come and make squares to my Venus, I notice it in an unpleasant way.

No, I've never dated a Pisces Mars. One guy has Mars trine my Mars and another has Mars opposite my Mars. The 2nd guy's Mars also completes a grand cross for me even though it squares both my Venus & Moon. Sexual attraction and compatibility with them were both strong... definitely stronger than the one I had Venus trine Mars with. The sex with Mars trine Mars feels the best like we just matched. His Cancer energy feels very comfortable with my Pisces energy.

I believe my 7H ruler in Sag makes me like Mars/Jupiter energy and both Mars/Mars guys have Mars conjunct/sextile Jupiter in natal. I find guys with this aspect assertive and protective... a bit like an alpha male and I like it.

As for Mars/Pluto... it's just SO hot! And if you add Jupiter into the mix. *Phew* Just need to learn how to manage the heat or it can get explosive... and so far IME, I'm the explosive one. LOL

I have had synastry with someone where it was Venus/Mars conjunction (less than 2 degrees) both ways. No desire on my part what so ever even though I found him physically attractive.

I think the natal will the tell the story of why you aren't attracted to Venus/Mars conjunction. I don't like it either, it has not effect on me. Now Venus/Mars squares, oh baby, do I love them.

As a matter of fact, many posters here would gawk at why we weren't together with all of our "good" synastry (a host of trines, sextiles and conjunctions with a few oppositions sprinkled). This and other synastry I have with people makes me realize that "flowing" aspects are overrated. This coming from someone with no squares in my chart and a host of trines/sextiles/conjunctions and earth/water placements only.

I have an example of this actually.
I pulled a chart for my friend who asked me to look into it for her, she slept with this guy that she has a lot of strong aspects with, one being this aspect in particular.

She does feel the draw to him, and admires his assertion and how driven he is, she respects him actually. But she isn’t psychically attracted to him. She slept with him anyway 🙄 and said that the sex was good. She very much enjoyed it, but afterwards she felt repulsed because she does not find him appealing to look at.

So my theory is this aspect is a “good sex” kinda thing, and based on an attraction to the masculine energy and the way in which a man asserts his power and dominance. (If the man is the mars)

She hasn’t slept with him again because she’s not physically attracted, but she still sees him a lot as she admires him and has respect for their friendship.

Wow! I don't know how a person could have sex with someone who they aren't physically attracted to in some regard. I have this with someone but I'm the Mars. And the person thinks I'm physically attractive. But it's because I appeal their Mars sign I guess.

I've found that without the mans venus making contact to woman's mars, an attraction isn't usually there or a relationship isn't happening. It's like he doesn't want to go after her or something.
