Topic: Venus Opposite Pluto Synastry

Hello my brilliant friends, I would like you to share your knowledge. I'm seeing a new guy, I like him. In Synastry his venus in Pisces is opposite my Pluto in Virgo. He has this in his natal chart too. We have good sun, moon, neptune- venus contacts. In the composite we have good sun, moon and venus saturn contacts (all sextile and trines) He's an Aquarius, not my favorite but love his Virgo moon. I'm all Scorpio. What are your experiences with this opposition and thoughts. Some of you know how naturally guarded I am so this one has me concerned. Thanks loves!IP: Logged |

it will not play out immediately. But over time, Pluto person will try to usurp personal power from Venus.I was Pluto in one and the other Venus. ****When it was I who was Pluto,I sought to "control" Ven and the opposition made it difficult or challenging for it to happen. I wanted control over the relationship, control over him and to "predict" his actions. In this way to defend against loss or the imagined fear of such. What made things complex for us was that I have Ven in Sco and he has Venus opp Pluto. Power struggles for days. **** When I was Venus, the Pluto person seemed sly & underhanded. I felt that I was trying hard to please him. And I did my outmost to try to get him to stop playing hide and seek. Pluto has more "power" over Venus & can wield that power for better or worst. With much power comes great responsibility & Pluto may not use such power wisely and isolate Venus to a point of losing them(worst fears realized). Good luck.

At A23D, have you ever had the experience with the quincunx (InConjunct) in synastry? Does it play out similar to the opposition? People debate on if it’s a major or minor aspect so I’m pretty sure it can be felt. IP: Logged |

i had this with a guy i went on a really ****** date with, his taurus venus and moon were opposite my pluto and his scorpio mars was loosely conjunct it played out immediately after sex (which was admittedly within the first hour or so of the first date) and i wasn't the one who was trying to control the situation on any level it was all him, and he got really ******* weird and possessive towards me and had zero self control the only thing i cared about controlling was my boundaries which didn't happen with the way he got, so i'm not sure i'd say pluto has the upperhand or that it even takes time at least not in my experience i had the conjunct with my ex fiancee, my pluto conjunct her venus/pluto conjunction (hers is exact) and the entire relationship was her trying to gain control and have the upperhand etc but she has a pretty terrible chart in general with that kind of thing tbh IP: Logged |

Are you people me? I came here to ask about this placement and I’m scorp Pluto. My two least favorite people in my entire life, my mother and a horrible clingy frenemy who wasted 20 years of my life had an opposing Venus in Taurus (but also sun and moon and mercury in Taurus so that made it extra bad). They had other horrible aspects to me which I want to post about but I believe this opposition is closely related to how bad it was.
Pluto opposite anything seems like a recipe for destruction. I guess since an entire generation is Pluto Scorpio, people with a lot of planets in Taurus will have some major issues with them. lolIP: Logged |

Just saw these responses, so a belated heartfelt thank you. And damn it! I really like this guy-I'm Pluto. So I've got a couple questions I hope you can help with. First, would it be any help that he has this same opposition in his natal chart? Also, about the showing up over time. It makes sense that with Pluto it may really start to show after sex. I hope that I have evolved enough that I won't try to control but am well aware how subtle and sometimes, not so subtly this manifests. Don't you all just love hearing a Scorpio say they can control themselves to not control others?  IP: Logged |

Is opposition much worse then Venus/Pluto square ?
I know Venus/Pluto square in relationship. It's not the calm one, but not bad, it's adding heat, good and bad one.IP: Logged |
