I keep reading about uranian energy in composite means there won't be stability in a relationship but does anyone have/had a relationship with hard aspects from Uranus in it. I have Sun conjunct Uranus and Mars sextile Uranus with my boyfriend. I'm hoping there's a possibility of marriage IP: Logged |

usually it is hard aspects with Uranus that cause problems, hard meaning square, semi square or opposition. here especially with Uranus sextile to mars, I don't think Uranus is in the way of your desires. todd IP: Logged |

The composite of my wife and I has Cancer Uranus (in Gemini/8th) opposite Capricorn Sun (in Sagittarius/2nd) ... and we hope to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary in 2021.It has manifested in a variety of ways during our relationship - but the common theme has always been "introverted workaholic accountant husband" vs "outgoing socially-active homemaker wife" (old fart male vs young fragrant female). Hence ... there have been many clashes between us that would have resulted in the termination of a 21st-Century-relationship. ... But we were both conditioned (by a 20th-Century-childhood) to use relationship-friction as opportunities for the two people to see the need for change, rather than confirming the need to be "true to oneself". So ... it is not difficult aspects which determine whether or not a relationship will "go the distance". ... That is governed by the outlook and values of the two people in the relationship. Uranus oppositions of the hard aspects can be overcome. a opposition shows a dialectic that can lead to greater consciousness/unity or endless strife/opposition. it is true with the opposition that it can be worked out even with Uranus, though squares and semi squares are much more deterministic. your description of the nature of your marriage is an example of the opposition/dialectic leading to greater unity and understanding IP: Logged |

Husband and I both have chart ruler aspecting Uranus in hard aspect. Our Composite has a angular Uranus t square. We seem to have a truly unbreakable bond and have been together for 12 years so it's possible.IP: Logged |

I agree ... but wonder/question if the 20th Century/Piscean Age relationship challenge was for the two people to become one (i.e.. more like each other), whilst the 21st Century/Aquarius Age relationship challenge is for the two people to tolerate the right of the other to be different/themself.And ... if so ... should relationship astrologers now be modifying the 20th Century/Piscean Age thinking/assumptions that currently underpin the advice we give to clients? once again you have posted how you and your husband have a hard Uranus yet have been together for 12 years. but what kind of relationship is it??? most people are looking for a traditional one on one, but your 12 year relationship seems to be an open relationship or a polyamorous relationship because ion august 12 you asked about to guys and described how you felt kissing each of them....this doesn't jive with a traditional relationship. Uranus squares do sometimes result in open relationships or on and off. from your post you certainly don't have a traditional relationship with your husband. http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum35/HTML/009358.html posted August 09, 2019 10:18 PM
" I really appreciate everyone's feedback. Thanks Todd too, its interesting the point you made about the stellium aspecting the nodes and just soft aspects to the nodes in composite been significant and how Isis Osiris is actually quite activated in our composite. I am going to give second guy a chance, I wonder if saturn is just delaying the impact of moon square pluto and the expression of mars. We are going to go hiking Sunday, I only hanged out with him yesterday for the first time and we did have great conversations and a lot of in common in how we think etc but that mars square saturn concerns me. will report back about this, I like the second guy more as a friend, don't feel strong romantic feelings at this point. I am going to see if that changes. The guy I love my moon conjuncts his Southnode exact but he has southnode conjunct atropos and pholus and my SUN and DC ruler MERCURY conjuncts his north node. Also his nodes square my nodes..."

We open up the relationship sometimes periodically but mostly closed, right now we are closed and I plan to keep it like that. Regardless marriages have ups and downs even traditional marriages but we always come out of issues stronger and more United which is admirable and a big strength in a marriage. IP: Logged |

The reason why our bond is unbreakable and very binding is bc we have a big stellium in the 8th in our Composite which falls in the 7th house in our progressed composite. Saturn exalted in Libra in 8th is part of that stellium and our Saturn squares our nodal axis! To top it off we have Saturn in the 8th Septile our Venus which is also very binding (Graham mentioned this in another thread were we were discussing Septiles). So you can have very binding aspects so that in spite of the nature of Uranus it can result in a lasting marriage. Also my connection with him is based on a very strong friendship which is Uranus territory and this foundation makes us very resilient as a couple. IP: Logged |

Would trine/conjunctions with Saturn balance/ help to overcome hard aspects with Uranus ? Mars/Uranus, Moon/Uranus, or Venus/ Uranus - what is easier to make deal with? (Probably, need a separate topic for it)IP: Logged |

Jewel seems to believe so-that saturn can mitigate the unstableness of the aspect: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K3ZSzGYoQf0 IP: Logged |

This is just my opinion but I get the feeling and sense that moon/uranus is harder to cope with in the context of a committed relationship bc it will be hard to feel emotionally secure in the relationship. I feel venus/uranus stuff or mars/uranus would be easier to manage, I mean mars/uranus would probably lead to fights and you would need to work on conflict skills and communication skills ect... We have chiron opposite Uranus forming a tsquare with Venus in composite but our venus forms an exact Septile to Saturn in libra in the 8th which squares our nodes so we are an example of that Because chiron in Taurus is involved we have this healing grounding effect on each other too which is a big reason why we have lasted too I feel and why I got involved with him (he is like a human gemstone unless he is cranky), it balances out a lot the fights and allows us to repair quickly. What do you think about having both Moon square Saturn with Moon square Uranus in the Composite Chart? IP: Logged |

A stifling roller-coaster ride? The relationship would vacillate between rigid impositions and wild breaking-free moments. What other aspects are involved when it comes to these 3 planets? IP: Logged |

in a composite Saturn sextile/trines don't mitigate the turbulences and destructive nature of hard Uranus aspects todd IP: Logged |

Definitely hot and cold feelings. Me and boyfriend have the moon square Uranus in the composite and we go back and forth so much. Can be draining sometimes IP: Logged |

Sounds like a very lonely Moon. Any harmonious aspects to the Moon? IP: Logged |

Mars-Uranus can lead to a lot of petty fights. My parents have Uranus square Mars (and Sun!) and they're constantly bickering over daily stuff. My friend has Mars opposite Uranus with her ex-husband and they fought every week but mostly over his drinking/mahjong habits. I also have Mars opposite Uranus with my guy but we seldom fight. Whenever we have disagreements, we make up quite fast. Maybe because we're not living together? I agree that Mars-Uranus can be managed, from the way I see it. Moon-Uranus may be a little hard since it's emotions that we cannot control. Not sure about Venus-Uranus. IP: Logged |

Yes, Moon sextile Sun and Moon sextile Mercury. There are quintiles to the Moon but I don't know if those actually are relevant. IP: Logged |

No, only Moon square uranus thank God. I honestly think if we had moon square saturn in the composite we wouldn't last because it would be too much to deal with IP: Logged |
