I've had this aspect a few times!

Essentially the AC person is a bit of a 'new specimen' to the NN person. They're exciting and interesting- but can also be intimidating and confusing, because it's untravelled territory. The AC person's way of being present in the world may express how the NN person wants to be.

That being said, it means the DC is conjunct the South Node as well. This means there may be a feeling of familiarity in regards to being comfortable together- either as partners or a 'duo' in some way. Individualising the two is where the importance lies, because being the dynamic duo at all times will inevitably drain both parties.

^ Any effect if the NN is in the same sign as the other partner's ASC but not conjunct?

He feels refreshingly different from the other guys I've dated and I do feel extremely comfortable around him, and in certain ways, we're very similar. We also cooperate very well when we're alone, without others around.

@Hikaru29

I would say it could still be felt; if any placement feels the energy of an entire sign, it would probably be the Nodes. However it could just be a more vague energy of the person, rather than very specifically them and their traits.

But I would agree with the sentiment! Any time I meet someone with placements in the same sign as my NN, I feel that 'refreshing' vibe as well. (It does depend on what's in that sign though, and how your nodes play in your chart, ofc.)

I totally agree with you. I’ve had this with 2 partners.

You're right about the vague energy of the person rather than specific traits. From the onset I'd felt strangely comfortable and close to him. It's an attraction of deep intimacy. But I'm not sure if this is all Nodes as we also have angles conjunction and my Moon/Venus conj his ASC/DSC.

However, Nodes-angles contact doesn't guarantee an attraction. My aunt's husband and my friend's late husband both also have their ASC in the same sign as my NN (with my aunt's husband we've a conjunction) but I'm definitely not attracted to them, lol. The comfort is felt on a friendship level.

True! Attraction doesn't always mean romantic however; more in terms of how magnets attract. It draws two people in to want to interact. The nodes are the magnetic poles of the Moon as well, so where we feel emotionally drawn (or repulsed, in some cases!)

^ What about NN conjunct ASC out of sign? I've this with a friend but I don't feel anything special towards her.

I would say if it's out of sign, it would really depend on both the person's sensitivity, and the degree orb.

Nodes as well are very sign-oriented (watch a few node-change transits and you'll see it's almost on a dime )
