I was recently turned onto prenatal solar and lunar eclipses in synastry. When checking my person's chart, his prenatal solar eclipse is exactly conjunct my sun and his prenatal lunar eclipse is exactly conjunct my ascendant. These are also occurring very close to my actual birthdate of Nov 1st (Nov 3rd and Nov 17th respectively - and he was born Dec 31st 9 years before me). Wow! I heard that this can signify him seeing me as a marriage partner but wondering if there's anyone out there with more knowledge or practical experience with this. Does this make ME feel anything at all, or just him? And how powerful is it?Also, what orbs do you use with these? Because my prenatal solar/lunar eclipses aren't really pointing to him BUT if the orbs are looser then I do have a prenatal lunar eclipse about 4-5 degrees away from his natal Venus. And his other prenatal solar eclipse is about 4-5 degrees away from my ascendant as well (but right on his natal South Node). AND, I do have a prenatal solar eclipse that is exactly opposite our composite Sun - but don't know if that means anything? Thanks everyone! EDIT: Just realized my prenatal lunar eclipse in 24 degrees Scorpio is conjunct my natal Mercury in 23 degrees and descendant in 25 degrees Scorpio. Wonder what that means?? IP: Logged |

Prenatal and postnatal Solar and Lunar eclipses are part of the greater subtle energy surrounding the birth. My mentor L. Edward Johndro believed that these eclipse influences last for at least a year before and after the birth. I use wide orbs because Sun and Moon are both powerful alone -- and even more powerful together in eclipses. 4-5 degrees in the same Sign is well within orb of influence. Conjunction (solar eclipse) is the most powerful aspect, and opposition (lunar eclipse) is second most powerful.Look at the Houses where eclipses occur to interpret their influences for each of you. Hmmm, so it’s more relevant in natal and only a year before and after the day you were born? Any significant relevance in synastry? I’m sorry I guess I don’t quite understand. My sun in Scorpio 6th is conjunct his prenatal SE in his 4th house. His prenatal LE in Taurus 11th is conjunct my Ascendant and NN in my 1st house. And it looks like my prenatal SE 1st house Gemini is conjunct my Chiron and his Psyche in his 11th. My prenatal LE, Mercury and DC in Scorpio 6/7th house are conjunct his Venus 5th house. AmberMoon, it's relevant in natal and synastry. Some authors say up to 3 years. Let's go back to basics. The Zodiac (circle of Signs) is the apparent path of the Sun around the Earth in one year. It's usually divided into 12 equal slices, beginning at the vernal Equinox (0* Aries) on Mar. 20. We view the Sun moving against the backdrop of the Stars outside our Solar System. Think of the Zodiac as a grid or matrix onto which all the planets, Sun, Moon, asteroids, Stars, etc. fall. Like a globe shaped planetarium screen. Earth is at the center of this celestial vault.Understand that this apparent vault includes all of Space around our Earth. It's not empty space -- it's filled with vibrating resonating energy. Everything is in motion, connected to everything else. The Sun and Moon are the two largest apparent objects in our Sky. They are moving through the cosmic soup of Space (so is our Earth). As they move, they create electromagnetic waves which affect all Life on Earth -- including our bodies. Sacred Geometry tells us that certain angles (angular relationships) have characteristic qualities. Dividing a whole cycle by 1 gives the conjunction aspect. By 2, the opposition. By 3, the trine...etc. Conjunction is the most powerful aspect, because it represents the start and end of the entire cycle. Opposition is the second most powerful aspect; it represents half of the whole cycle. Sun-Moon conjunctions (Solar Eclipses) and Sun-Moon oppositions (Lunar Eclipses) create huge vibrations or waves in the Space around our Earth. Therefore, a year later there is still residual vibration from an Eclipse. Two years later, less vibration...etc. These huge vibrations at specific points in the Zodiac affect not just your body, but also the bodies of others (synastry), relationships (composite), etc. IP: Logged |

I read somewhere it’s 6 months before our birth, but what do they mean in Synastry? For me there was a Lunar Eclipse at 7 Gemini. That’s conjunct my ASC at 2deg and exactly square his Mercury DSC ruler. Also a Solar Eclipse at 21 Sagittarius that’s conjunct my Moon at 2deg, square his Sun at 1deg. His LE is 14 Libra conjunct his Moon/Pluto/NN, square my Saturn/PoF 1deg opposite my Jupiter 4deg. His SE is 28 Aries conjunct his Vertex 2deg, conjunct my Chiron 3deg opposite my Uranus 2deg. Right, like I’m seeking more practical knowledge and explanation on how to interpret this in synastry which is why I posted in the interpersonal astrology board. But I think I get what you’re saying comdoc and I thank you for explaining further - those eclipses carry such heavy cosmic energy that they can imprint on you when you are in the womb and become part of your birth chart? From what my intuition is telling me, these are very deep, hidden, subconscious, mystical triggers? I also read these contacts can be very karmic in nature. So just sort of wondering if my person carries a strong cosmic imprint from these eclipses and my Sun and Ascendant/NN hit all 3 of his PNE’s (AC/NN x 2 😱 ) as well as mine hitting his Venus and my Merc/DC/SN and my other one right on our Psyche/Chiron conjunction, which I always felt was a very strong theme in our relationship before I even knew about prenatal eclipses. I’m just trying to figure out why we can’t let each other go, especially him, as hard as we try. There really isn’t very strong Saturn (well my Saturn on his NN, his Saturn isn’t contacting me at all and there are a few Saturn squares in composite as well as Saturn conj Juno). I don’t know, just searching for answers. Also why our relationship feels so destined, fated, and why meeting each other both spiritually awakened us profoundly. It just feels like a deep subconscious trigger. IP: Logged |

I’m very curious about this too.. an important sp had his sun conjunct my pre natal lunar eclipse and also his mercury conjunct my pre natal solar eclipse. There were no aspects between my planets to his pre natal eclipses. I still think I’ ll stay forever the love of his life. After 18 years he still want us to start over again. The person I’m current interested in has his sun and mercury squares my pre natal eclipses. Also my sun, venus and saturn conjuncts and opposite his pre natal eclipses. I didn’ t had this earlier with someone. Are hese aspects common in long term or at least important relationships? I know, it seems to be very powerful. This man was ready to give up his 20+ year marriage, his kids, his close friendship with my husband and his well paying job (he worked with my husband) just to start a new life with me! Like, buddy, I'm not that great! There's a lot of Neptune going on too but, sheesh! Some astrologers have told me this will be a long lasting love and he may refuse to release me mentally, which may keep me hooked on him too. I'm so ready to be over this, LOL!! I love him dearly as well and will never forget him, but I just can't see myself giving up my security, my family and my current way of life. It almost seems like it's a deep uncontrollable thirst or hunger that needs to be satisfied..... One astrologer said my ascendant hitting his prenatal lunar eclipse means he views me as a potential wife. I will try to ask her more questions about that and get back to you guys.

Are they? I was made to believe we had a pretty Saturn light synastry for some reason, especially on his side, but we are both pretty Saturn heavy natally. So, may I ask, would my Saturn conjunct his NN bind him to me as well? Does he feel that at all or just me? Saturn conjunct Juno composite is a biggie? Oooh I remember that his Saturn is squaring my Pluto and conjunct my IC - I forgot that. Would all these be mutually felt by him as well? Sorry this is off the OT but it’s my thread so I can do what I want, haha. IP: Logged | |
