Hi, I’d like to know if anyone experienced same sign compatibility when the orb is more than 10 degrees??

As an example let’s say Sun is in 5degrees Aries and the other person’s Venus is in 19degrees Aries.

Technically the orb of 14 degrees is too wide to be counted. Is it still possible to feel the energy in a similar way, as it would be felt if the orb was closer?

Is there a Sun/Venus affinity since they’re both in the same sign?

Of course. Think in terms more of aura's and aura colors/vibratory patterns interacting, then it's easy to understand/perceive why these don't need to be "in orb". It is more intensely felt when it is in orb, and especially when it is very close, but we still feel it otherwise as well.

Perhaps somewhat the exception to the rule is when one Planet is at the very beginning of the Sign and the other Planet is at the very end of the Sign. Like 1* Aries and 29* Aries. There is less "resonance" in that case since each is influenced (gah, indicated) by the cusping of two different Signs.*

*However, this can get interesting when dealing with oppositions under the above condition. It brings in some of the quincunx/inconjunct vibe, and these naturally have a 6th-8th House type connotation and pattern. That 8th house vibe component can add some definite intensity to it, but for only one of the people. (The other will respond in the more 6th House kind of way, which is a lot more "meh" and "take it or leave it").
