I think venus and mars contact in synastry is overrated ?
Am i wrong on this? Is it rare or have you met many people with venus/mars synastry? Would love an input on this one. Also venus/pluto contact is said to be strong. But synastry may not always get activated and even if this is present in synastry there may not be attraction based on other factors like they may not be your body type or they maybe too old or you don't like something about their upbringing etc..
also it may not be activated in just acquaintances interactions.. maybe venus/mars only get activated when you start close relationship with the person.. what do you guys think?IP: Logged |

I aspect I see most often in synastry is actually a woman’s Mars squaring a man’s Venus and typically means she tries to dominate him IP: Logged |

I read another astrologer here said venus-Mars contacts usually show up when you are younger, but when you are older the outer planets and chiron matter more.Venus-Mars contact has never mattered to me.. Feels a bit superficial and they end up being friends rather than lovers. IP: Logged |

Inner planet contacts matter more than outer ones since they are more sensitive to days. LOL your Venus will square an entire generation's Pluto so it doesn't matter unless it is a tight orb (below 3 degrees). I experienced a 0 degree Venus Mars square with a woman (her Mars square my Venus) and a 2 degree opposition, a double whammy if you may. In my experience, it led to some serious sexual addiction and arguing too. Then the arguing would end whenever one of us would start getting intimate and start kissing the other. I hated her due to the square aspect but then at the same time, she aroused me like none other. There was a lot of trash talk in the relationship followed shortly by sex. Something I found hilarious now but was aroused a ton by was how she would blow me and talk mad **** about how worthless I was while doing it. It was such an addicting relationship and now I look for that aspect as well as Mars and Pluto. IP: Logged |

Thanks for the input. My question is How common is this synastry? Mars/venus Conjunct. Would a person meet so many people in their lifetime with this aspect?I have a friend I met a few months ago and we have good synastry, moon/moon sun/sun sun/jupiter etc and mars sq venus also and I find him selfish (must be his aries venus which I share with him lol) i feel no attraction to him. It’s just that I can read his moves. I understand him. On the other hand i met this man who I have more friendship aspects with like sun trine sun, sun trine merc, venus opp pluto, my mars trine his sun, me venus trine his neptune, and I’ m really drawn to him. This guy puts his stellium on my first house and his juno conj my moon.. so maybe I am more into him and its unrequited love. Maybe because he has cuter face  also I have more access to him.. which means i can see him more often than the other one.. My other question would be how common is venus/mars conjunct in synastry? What’s the probability of one person meeting several people with this aspect say in a classroom of 60 people? And does that means there would always be attraction or other factors are needed for attraction to happen? Or that it only get activated in super close contact not in just brief interactions. what do you guys think? IP: Logged |

I think it's also important to take into account composite aspects.Sometimes there's no Mars-Venus aspect in a synastry but one in a composite. IP: Logged |

As I thought about this.. Natal and each individuals personality is more important than synastry overall.. with the guy I really like.. i notice none of our inner planets are the same.. it trines but not the same.. i have none in my chart his dominant planets.. that’s why I’m fascinated by him but often I CAN’T READ HIM..he is aqua sun, taurus moon, pisces venus & virgo mars.. i am gemini sun, aries venus, cancer moon, libra mars.. so to me some of his actions and moves I can’t understand.So even if we have no significant moon contact (only at 6orb) my nurturing moon in cancer and his emotional venus pisces is still at play.. because we get each others emotional state. On the other hand a friend who I have very good synastry with… though I find somewhat boring... our 5 inner planets are the same just rearranged.. So the people whos charts shows same planets as you even rearranged you understand them more because the energy is the same.. IP: Logged |

It's more common than you think. I usually feel it more when I'm the venus,cause I really like the way they do things/their masculine energy. It really makes you notice them. But it's kind of superficial by itself,I would take my moon being touched by any planet over venus/mars.IP: Logged |

i don't pay much attention to these two aspecting each other tbh. it's nice to see it present, but i could live without it. if i had to choose, a tight venus/mars opposition was probably the strongest pull.

I have just recently experienced this connection with a man I’m extremely fond of. My Venus conjunct his Mars in Gemini, and my Mars trine his venus - so double whammy.
Wow, let’s just say, we can’t keep our hands off eachother and didn’t waste any time before we did the deed. 😁
I feel such a warmth from his cuddles and kisses and intensity I’m not used to. Also have other sexual aspects, moon trine Mars and Pluto. Venus sextile Pluto, Venus sextile Neptune.
