??????? My stellium falls in my crush's 7th and 8th houses, but none of my planets aspects their 5th, 7th, or 8th house rulers. On the flip side, their stellium is in my 9th and 10th houses, but they aspect my planets a little more. Which is more important?

House ultimately will determined how deep of an impact you will have on a person and influence how the aspects will play out. Romantically you would want to be in someones 12th, 4th or 8th for a very deep bonding or have a mix of these houses with the 7th and 5th house. The 10th can be good If its combined with some of the houses mentioned if not the relationship might feel impersonal. If you got conjunctions esp tight or close ones between a Personal Planet and another Planet falling into these houses that too might produce a very deep bonding. But If you got some sexual aspects but most of the house overlays are in more Platonic houses or the business houses then this might be someone you have more of an friends with benefits type of relationship with or is someone you might think is attractive but seem to have a hard time devoloping more serious feelings for or you are more into them before you have them. Does your stellium aspect any of their planets? Imo if there's no aspect, the planet in whichever house isn't going to do much. IP: Logged |

I've been pondering this matter a lot too because I have rly good house overlays (5,7,8H) with my current date but not so many classically good planet conjunctions. I feel something exceptional and rare with him.In my personal previous experiences, house overlay matters hugely for lasting relationships. IP: Logged |

I always question the validity of house overlays in synastry when I start considering people like myself with 5 planets in one sign/ house. If someone has a stellium natally, in one house, it's inevitable to have an over-emphasis on that house in synastry regardless of the other person's aspects. I have a Scorpio stellium in the 6H ruled by Libra so anyone with personal planets in Scorpio/ Libra would automatically light up my 6H. The 6H is considered to be unromantic and platonic at best. I think house overlays add another layer, but i don't think the traditional "love" houses are necessary for compatibility. IP: Logged |

Aspects are more important in natal charts and transit charts, so it should be the same for synastry.Obviously some aspects are weak and others are strong. I also feel that 1H and 7H overlays are quite strong. IP: Logged |

If that is true, this guys stellium in my first house should be significant. It includes Uranus close to my Asc and Moon, Venus, Mercury there too together with Saturn which I've read it is not a good placement for a relationship. So far I think it is me who is feeling the house planets. Also this "crush" on my part happened suddenly after mostly ignoring this guy for a year. I think my progressed Venus moving to conjunct his North Node [squaring his Pluto] has something to do with it. IP: Logged |

Sorry I'm really new about astrology, but this topic really make me curious. So if someone have stellium in 8th and then my planet overlay his 8th (conjunct his juno), it will activate/light up that house even in that house is in sign leo/virgo, and the sign that same with mine is his leo side? About this thread, I want to share about my experince that maybe can become a study case (sorry it wouldn't directly answer yours). My Aqua Mercury with my unique way to think sometimes can poking his emotions little bit (his scorpio mars), but if I explain what I mean in detail and good approach. He can understand it well even respect of it. The aspect relate is my mercury square his mars But my mercury overlay in his 1st house and his mars overlay in my 4th. IP: Logged |
