Hey guys. Just felt like writing about my north node experience because it amazes me. So there was a guy I met manyyy years ago in 4th grade who I became instant friends with right away. I felt extremely comfortable around him and the bond lasted until high school. He ended up moving to another city and never heard from him again. 4 years later, I got a call that he lost his life in a car accident and felt like it was very painful to accept. This was over 10 years ago and I still find myself hurt over his death which made me look into our synastry together. I found out we shared Moon conjunct North Node in my 8th house, along with my Venus conjunct his north node in the 8th and his Sun conjunct my south node. I was shocked but it explained why the bond was very intense and impossible for me to forget him. His death was a heartbreak and I realized how unforgettable north node synastry is. The person stays forever in your heart. Feel free to tell some of your North Node experiences. Would love to hear it IP: Logged |

I’m sorry to hear about your friend! It’s incredible how these old friendships can stay close to your heart even when you are not in touch. How would you describe the connection? Familiarity? My north node in Leo has a wide conjunction (7 degrees) with my new partner’s moon, also in Leo. It’s probably too wide for most to say that it has an effect, however I can feel it. He’s made a pretty significant shift in my life, for the better, within a short time. What is also massive, is that he feels like family - feels like he’s been family to me before. I also get a strong sense that we’ll end up working together at some point. However there is a lot going on in our synastry and composite that could have a similar effect. We also have all our angles tightly conjunct (AC/AC and MC/MC)and his Pluto is directly opp my MC. We’ve also got a Pluto Mercury DW. My Venus is conjunct his moon and his AC in Leo. So lots of Leo energy going on in the 1st and 2nd houses. Vertex are conjunct too.

Sorry for your loss with the conjunction being in your 8th house. I would imagine that it’s very difficult the 8th house being so deep. My Moon falls in this guys 4th and it’s conjunct his North Node it’s at 4 degrees. He literally feels like family to me (it’s in the 4th house). We aren’t talking but I miss him I understand what you mean. IP: Logged |

I have my natal moon at an exact conjunction with my north node, so everyone close to my age will have this in our synastry. For me, this synastry is amplified with additional moon contacts.I'm often told that I greatly support my friends along their path to purpose, one way or another. Maybe it's also because I'm a leo rising with a 5H stellium but nonetheless I tend to be my loved ones' greatest cheerleader. With the NN conj. moon aspect specifically, I LOVE helping people align with their purpose and I especially am quite good at identifying when they are leaning more into their south node (as I'm hyper-aware of that in my own life). One example is my most recent relationship. Not only did we have my moon and NN conjunct their NN, but we had an exact Moon-Moon sextile. Due to strong Pluto and Uranus contacts to personal planets, we did start off addicted to each other and fell into our south node in pisces. But for almost our entire relationship, we talked about the people we wanted to be. Our visions for the future became so clear, and I believe this was hugely impacted by our moon synastry. We talked about our dreams and really encouraged each other to go after them in a way that I'd never experienced before. Just nothing but encouragement and love. Hopefully this resonates with you IP: Logged |

It’s definitely amazing how someone can have that kind of impact on after so many years. Even though it was so long ago, I will always remember him. There was definitely a strong sense of familiarity from the beginning. I’ll never forget the moment at met him in elementary how we both smiled at each other and started to click right away. I can relate to what you said about it feeling like family and bonded close! We used to argue like a married couple lol, it’s crazy. But you definitely have some powerful linkages for sure. With your angles closely conjunct, I can imagine the closeness you two feel with one another. I know regardless of what happens, you’ll always remember them IP: Logged |

Thank you. Yes, it was deep. Even as kids, we were unusually close and he always told me he loved me. I think it used to scare me how intense it was so I would play it off. I started to regret it after his death but I know it was meant to help with my growth. And I can imagine how deep the 4th house conjunction felt, you’ll always have a special place in your heart for them IP: Logged |

I'm so sorry for your loss. How are you coping with it now? Do you feel like you need additional support? I hope you think of the good times with him! It's a gift when someone touches our soul deeply.I've had this with someone (exact, I was the planet person). He was attracted to me but I wasn't to him. However I felt SO comfortable and SO much myself around him. It felt like I was with an old friend on our first date. There was no sexual attraction on my part, but he wanted me very much. I think the effect of this is soothing and nurturing on both parties, but really incites the NN person to be the pursuer. IP: Logged |

I’m coping with it better these days. I think seeing pictures of him in my photo album is the hardest… makes you realize how much you miss a person. But thankfully, I will always cherish the good times/memories. I can definitely agree how much of a gift it was to experience. Your situation sounds very similar to how it played out for me but I was the North Node individual who was pursued. The comfort and unconditional acceptance/love from that person is what makes it so comfortable. I had a similar experience with my South Node conjunct someone’s moon. It feels veryyy familiar and loving. Are you still friends with them? IP: Logged |
