Hello,
How would such a configuration in synastra play out. Partner A has a natal Mars square Pluto aspect and Partner B has her Venus opposite his Pluto and also square his Pluto?
Anyone any ideas?

I've been digging Mars Square Pluto cuz I have that aspect with my current partner. (we have a so many Pluto hard aspects tbh)

From my notebook:
This aspect indicates intense sexual attraction but can be a problem if you get into stupid jealousy games because it’s so intense that loyalty is expected. Generally, this aspect makes the Mars person more reactive, and impulsive with their words. If one partner is childish and selfish, it can turn ugly because any sign of betraying the relationship will be magnified.

---
I find those words to be true in my experience, painful jealousy and anxiety like never before but I am sensing some strong positive transformation happening with him.

Thank you for your answer. Does it pertain to the T Square i was talking about or to a Mars square Pluto in synastry though? Because I don't have Mars sq Pluto with him. I have my Venus opposite his Mars and square his Pluto. Basically he has Mars sq Pl natally and my Venus opposes his mars and sq his Pluto.

Ahh sorry, I was confused with the question. Sounds like a lot of his Martian/aggressive energy creating tension with your Venus energy. I think what sign, element, and house it's located in are also important factors.

I am sure Partner A is natally intense/competitive and you might be fascinated by that. and possibly you both have a lot of sexual attraction, possessiveness, or jealousy - emotionally charged.

I've read that A t-square is like a pressure cooker of energy, edginess, and stress in general, I bet it's similar in synastry and more intense in your case with Mars+Pluto involved in the mix. the middle "leg", the one squaring the two opposites, is supposed to be the clue that can help release/balance out the T-square tension. So in your case, my interpretation would be his Pluto - if he can channel the positive quality of Pluto, the intensity & control in a more constructive way, you guys would be able to handle the tension. Any synastry that involves hard aspects with Pluto requires the practice of open and honest communication to overcome, otherwise, it could get ugly and resentful.

Yeah he is very intense but so am I as I natally have Mars conj Sun and moon and asc square Pluto so I do get him. There is also his sun and my sun involved in this tsquare so basically Sun conj Mars square Pluto and all of this is opposite my Sun conj Venus.
