Topic: I don't understand why our Composite Chart is so bad when our synastry is decent?

I thought the Composite Chart was the reflection of what's going on in the synastry chart. Yet I have decent synastry with this guy. But the Composite Chart has a lot of squares. I like him a lot and I want to have something long-term with him. Possibly even marriage (I can't believe I'm actually saying this lol). But our Composite is bad so I don't know if that's possible. Not sure if this is the answer to your question, but whether or not two people would get along would depend on moon compatibility and also being around one another's age. IP: Logged |

Isn’t it important to have a good Composite Chart for a longterm relationship? Our Moon signs are compatible. I’m an Aquarius moon and he’s an Aries moon. IP: Logged |

Yeah that is interesting. I don’t know why either but in synastry you’ve got some strong conjunctions around identity, communication, love and purpose. Particularly the north node conjunct mercury is quite binding. Have you looked at the Davidson or progressed composite? IP: Logged |

Can you tell us how the relationship feels?Interestingly you’ve got sun and Juno conjunction descendant and north node conjunct the IC in the composite both of which signal long term. It could be that the relationship feels strong because of its karmic aspects IP: Logged |

Yes, I have looked at the Progressed Composite and Davidson chart. Is there something that I should look for in particular? I met him while I trying to get over the Cancer guy I've made post about. I feel like he came into my life at a time when I needed to learn that I am worthy of being cared about (I currently have transit Saturn in my 7th house). Meeting him helped me figure out the type of man I want to be with long term the type of man I could see myself having a life with. I used to really be into the bad boy aggressive type. But I like that he's gentle (Cancer Mars). People say you usually learn what you need in a relationship when Saturn is transiting through your 7th house and it's true. IP: Logged |

I've seen bad composite charts in long-term relationships. But a lot depends on what you can endure in a partner and they can endure in you because nobody is perfect. IP: Logged |
