I know the obvious answer might be Saturn aspects, but is that enough? What if a person is naturally very non-committal, would they instead run away from a Saturn contact if strongly present in a synastry chart? Or do you think that the strong Saturn aspects would instead pull a—normally—non-committal, more casual person, into a serious relationship? Is Saturn really that strong? IP: Logged |

I think it's maturity, which is something purely spiritual and has nothing to do with age or a natal chart. Although there are also people who are mature but never want to commit. They're usually dedicated to their jobs and helping others. IP: Logged |

Good question. I’d like to hear others thoughts too. My partner and I have an “unaspected” Saturn in our composite BUT it is also exactly semi sextile the composite moon and the composite sun and Venus conjunction at 22 degrees! We also have Juno exactly conjunct the ASC and loosely conjunct the Sun and Venus conjunction. However we are both very committed to each other. He has Venus conjunct Saturn in cancer in his natal and I have moon conjunct mars in Scorpio in the 4th house. I’ve played out all my Scorpio s*** and I’m ready to commit. So, Saturn isn’t the be all. North node to personal planet aspects, sun and Venus, moon and Venus and angle conjunctions all in synastry can create strong bonds. If someone is very noncommittal I look at where Uranus is in their chart. Also where their Uranus is in your synastry and where their natal saturn is their composite… etc, etc… Also, their evolution in this life time. What is in 5D doesn’t always play out in 3D as it shows potential and not fact

I'll give an example I recently experienced:My ex had Venus in Taurus trine Uranus and Neptune in natal at 2 degrees. My Uranus and Neptune trined his Venus EXACT applying. My Saturn also squared his Venus at 5 degrees. I have a Scorpio stellium, including Venus. Although he wanted to move in together... after the initial "honeymoon" phase, he wanted out. He was much more flighty and outgoing than I was which was one of the major issues that caused the break up. We were together for 3 years, lived together for almost 2. He started dating someone 3 years older than him 6 months later. He cheated on her right before they bought a house together at their 2 year mark. They are now married. Her Venus is at 0 degrees GEMINI and his mars-saturn opposition squares her Venus EXACT. So a noncommittal person might do the "dance" of commitment (marriage, family, taxes, etc) with someone even more noncommittal than they are. It's bittersweet knowing karma is putting him in the same position I was in (practically begging for Venus' affection and never really getting it), but it sucks knowing he still got to marry her which is what Saturn wants. Too bad he was Venus in our synastry. IP: Logged |
