Topic: Why are we so close yet I'm not attracted to him at all??

This is my very very close friend who I've been friends with for many years. We are so close that I would be happy spending all of my time with him. The problems: I am not attracted to him AT ALL. It's not because he's unattractive. There's just something about him that makes him not attractive to me. He kissed me once and it was really uncomfortable for me. He also lives on the other side of the country so that's a challenge... Anyway we're so close that I've considered a relationship with him even though there's not attraction for me (he's attracted to me). I was just looking for some insight into why I feel such extremes with him (extremely close connection but extreme lack of physical attraction). Why are we so close with one-sided attraction? Also just wondering based on synastry/composite: could a romantic relationship even work? The charts look difficult to me. Moon and venus opp mercury, you probably have had alot of close talks and maybe the moon conjunct mars? Although ig it is a bit wide. Also looks like moon square the nodes, those nodal contacts will draw you in, my longest relationship ever (13 years) was with someone who's mars squared my nodes. Most challenging relationship of my life but tons of growth.As for why you're not attracted, your mars is opposite his sun and mercury, so Id guess his personality and the things he says/talk about might turn you off? I was going to post tons of things about your synastry with this person, then I noticed at the last minute that natally you have moon in Scorpio conjunct Pluto and Venus! Let me put it this way, INTENSITY IS YOUR MIDDLE NAME! For you, romantic/sexual relationships have to be compelling, you have to feel strong irrepressible attraction to someone and most of the time, you will not be able to explain why, this is just something from your guts, your instinct, something that bypasses your rational mind.
