I’ve been stuck, obsessed and heart weary over this connection for close to a year now with no reprieve. Essentially, we never dated (I dated one of his close friends) but it’s obvious to see that we had some level of attraction / connection.

Is this person / connection something to slowly forget about? Or is there something in this synastry chart that signifies that we’ll reunite / come back into contact again at some point in our lives? Is there a long term fated aspect to this?

Whenever I see obsession, I check what Pluto and Neptune are doing in a synastry. I do see you 2 share a lovely Moon in Pisces conjunction, indicating Neptunian influence and bond. And I also see Neptune in Capp conjunct Sun synastry.

One person has Pluto in Sagg conjunct Venus natally so this person is naturally intense, and this conjunction is unfortunately squaring the lovely moon Pisces conjunction you share. Also that same Pluto in Sagg is trine the other's Mars and Venus in Leo . So there is definitely strong mutual attraction and obsession there!

As for possibility of reunion and long term fated encounters, I looked up Vertex aspects and they were not particularly favorable, though one person's sun fall on the other anti-vertex...

I looked up Saturn aspects indicating karmic bonds, but nothing particularly significant.

Because of the current transit of Jupiter in Gemini and Neptune and Saturn in Pisces opposing/squaring Sagg aspects, any reunio or fated encounters will have to wait until Jupiter/Neptune/Saturn are out of these challenging signs and aspects in regards to planets in Sagg.
