I just took a quick look at the synastry. So, disclaimer, the following is not in depth reading. What jumped at me:YOU: -Natally you have Venus and Mars conjunction in Virco. -Pluto Mercury conjunction in Libra. -Scorpio Sun. Basically, you are Plutonic and need to be in intense, transformative relationships. -Your moon is in light and airy Gemini, which would lighten some of the natural intensity you have, but your moon is opposed by Jupiter in Sagg and squares the Mars/Venus conjunction. Yes, you have a grand cross. Things are complicated with you. There is a lot of push and pull. You have to negotiate different and sometimes conflicting aspects of your personality. I would suspect being Plutonic could be a plus in navigating such inner conflicts, especially since the grand cross is in mutable signs. Be willing to grow and change and adapt and self-transform. THEM: -also has conjunction of Mars and Venus (in Pisces) but it is wide, and this conjunction is opposite your Venus/Mars conjunction in Pluto. Opposition can be complimentary and provide excitement, so your plutonic side might like that. Both of your natal Jupiter square these Venus /Mars conjunctions, so unless you use these Jupiters as some sort of midpoints of balance for these energies, they might make things look better than they actually are. All that shine is not gold... Their Saturn conjuncts your Sun. I have seen this aspects in many married couples... His Sun falls in your 7th house, so there is attraction there and marriage/partnership possibilities.

Wow! You are spot on. I am highly plutonic and I’ve always said my Gemini moon is my saving grace. I always thought my chart looked boring compared to others. And I didn’t even realize I have a grand cross. Thanks for pointing that out. Any suggestions on how to use our Jupiters to help balance the energies like you mentioned? Thank you sooo much for taking the time to help me. I really appreciate it.

please allow me to correct myself and blame it on Mercury Rx. You do NOT have a grand cross in your natal chart, though your synastry with your person does show a grand cross. You do have a T-square natally, involving Gemini, Virgo and Sagg. To answer your question. because those signs are mutable, they allow for flexibility and compromise. In a T square, the planet that is at the midpoint axis (in your case the planets in Virgo) shows the way to handle the opposition created by the other planets in Gemini and Sagg, because in a way, Virgo is where Gemini and Sagg meet. As for the grand cross in your synastry, you are bearing more of the brunt of it because you are owning 3 of the 4 signs of the grand cross while he is owning 2 of the 4 signs. So it is possible that most of the onus in terms of compromising will be on you. You will have to be the more understanding person because you can see things from 3 points of views, while they can see things from 2 points of views. IP: Logged |

Ooh I see now, it’s our synastry that has the grand cross. So with my T square I can look to Virgo to help smooth the harshness that may come with that aspect. Hmmm that gives me much to think on. Thanks for pointing this out to me.Now if I could only figure out how to listen to my heart instead of my mind and also but also hear that little voice of reason when my heart tries to lead. I know that doesn’t make sense. The revolving conundrum that is me. I am a deep well of intense feelings and emotions but some part of me tries to intellectualize these things. The heart and mind speak differently and I’m always torn between which one should lead. I have strong intuition, it’s loud at times. But my mind overrides it, second guesses it, or flat out ignores it most of the time. I’m wondering if this is caused by the airy parts of me. I wish there was an easy way to balance the opposing forces. And you are correct, I am the compromiser. I bend for him, give in to him more than I should. And sometimes I wish he could see all the sacrifices I make for him and the effort it truly takes. There’s been many wrongdoings on his end that I would have never tolerated in the past. It’s something about our connection, something that I can’t place that allows me to look past many unpleasant things. I forgive and give chance after chance—blindly putting my faith in him. This is nothing I’ve experienced before and so unlike myself. I will say he is sincerely trying to right many of his wrongs. I’m learning and growing and hoping it will make us stronger.
Sorry for the rambling on and on. Thank you again for your insight and time. IP: Logged |

You are welcome! Let me add that:You guys have a strong trine involving both your Saturns, his Venus and your sun. Saturn aspecting these personal planets can create a very strong bond, though that bond can feel more like duty than romantic love. Transit Pluto in Aquarius is aspecting the Scorpio planets like your Sun and both your Saturn and will do so throughout the next few years, so Pluto might be in a position to break these Saturnian bonds... Not that Pluto does it, I am using astrological symbolism, it is just that you guys might find yourself reconsidering what keeps you together and needing to transform your bond if it is to survive.

Woah! You are reading me like a book. I have been doing a lot of rethinking and reevaluating on not just our connection but also my own connection to my inner self and world. I’m cleansing myself of obsolete feelings and narratives, old patterns, defunct beliefs and thought forms. I’m redefining what matters to me, what and who I want to give space and energy to. I can’t speak for him but he says he is doing a lot of reflecting and discovering his truth. I’m keeping the channels to our connection open however I am temporarily out of order for regeneration, minor repairs, total renovation and restoration, revamping—all the re words apply with Mercury and Venus both retrograde.Pheww this is hard work. I’m also dealing with Pluto traveling through my 7th house (Cap 29*). I am exhausted. I’m familiar with the underworld and know what this transit requires of me. I can burn and begin. Your knowledge of these matters astonishes me. How did you learn and study astrology? Did you have formal training or classes?

I am glad it was of help to you. I am an old timer here (under a different name) who has been studying astrology for decades. I took a formal course of basic classical astrology, but the rest I learned by studying my chart and own transits, that of other people, devouring any astro book i could get my hands on, and being part of astrological forums. I spent many years analyzing charts of celebrities. Whenever I would hear something happened to a celebrity, I would pull up their date of birth and try to figure out what particular transit was responsible for that. I don't do that anymore because I feel it was an unhealthy obsession and my life didn't really improve. But I am happy to chime in and help people when they have questions I can answer. IP: Logged |

I really do appreciate you taking the time to help me. You are the first person to engage with me here. I’m new but have lurked for years. I need to up my study game. I’ve been a deep diver of astrology and metaphysical subjects since middle school, mind you this was back when we had to go to the library in search of such things. If only I would have applied myself more back then. I guess I’ve been studying in earnest for a few years now. I’m using my chart and the charts of people i personally know and connect with. I would say I have a firm grasp on the basics but I’m novice at best. I’m hoping that joining this site will help expand my comprehension of things. Are there any other forums or blogs or sources you recommend.? IP: Logged |

You are very welcome and I truly appreciate your gratitude. Imo, gratefullness is an amazing quality that will get you far in life. Many people come to astro forums and ask questions and do not bother to thank people who have extended feedback or given insight. For this reason, many if not most requests for readings remain unanswered. To answer your questions about recommendations, astro forums and blogs come and go and I am no longer a member of other forums. Lindaland is an excellent resource even though things have considerably slowed down here in the past few years. I wish the search function was better. There have been and are still amazing astrologers who have posted here and shared their knowledge. There is a lot of astrological wisdom in many threads here if you want to take the time to find it. As you study astrology, you will figure out what particular style or method you are partial to. None of us can be masters of everything. I am not good at composite, astrocartography, progressions, or solar arc directions. My forte is in synastry and transits. Follow your own inner guidance on this, you will figure out what works best for you. The only warning I would give is don't get too obsessed with predictions and don't make the stars absolute rulers of your life and future. Best of luck to you! IP: Logged |
