I like travelling very much. I want to travel to USA for about ten days for sightseeing. I haven't applied for the Visa yet. For a single female Chinese who is over 30 years old, it is really very very hard to get it. I am very anxious to know if I will get visa to USA. So I asked the question and cast the horary chart. I don't know which house I should look at as significator of Visa. My significator is Moon in 4th house Libra. Moon is separating from Sun and Mars by Square. Sun is ruled my 2nd house, I do have some financial issues caused by work and my mom(she is in bad health, I support her financially). Moon is about to conjunct Mercury which ruled my 3rd house Virgo or 12th house Gemini. I don't know what it means here. Applying for American visa is not cheap, it costs about USD150. If I don't have much chance, I probably won't apply for it. Can someone help me please? Lots of thanks. IP: Logged |

I guess I said in the other thread on houses that I would use the 9th house... so this chart has become very interesting: - using house 3 for documents gives a pretty clear 'yes' to the question... seemingly within a short period of time, with the significator of the end of the matter heading towards the significator of travel as well - your main significator is on the cusp of the 4th (endings/beginnings) If we use the 9th house to signify the visa, then I would say that you would not get it, but if we use the visa as the 3rd, then I would say that you would.
It makes more sense to me to use the 3rd for this chart, it speaks more clearly. I think you will get it. I'm not 100% sure that you will actually travel, but the chart might not be speaking about that and you may have to create another chart when you get the visa to know for sure. Please give feedback about this one because it will reveal for sure the dilemma regarding 3rd vs 9th for the house of the travel visa.

Thanks again for your reading, appleberry. Both 3rd and 9th house make sense in some ways. I am preparing for the Visa files, I am still hesitant to do so. If I do submit my application, I will update how it will come. IP: Logged |

I know when I look at my astrocartography map my Jupiter direction line runs right across Llasa and my Venus line Chengdu, so I wish luck for you!! ------------------ Seimei, Jupiter Nadir IP: Logged |

Thanks, Seisei. I almost gave up applying for it last Saturday. I have had quite a few big problems. At last I still think I should have a try. I made the appointment already, the interview will be taken on July 20. IP: Logged |

Hey Molly i believe there are no coincidences but the signs and hints. I hadnt chkd LL for quite a while now... bt did today , and opnd ur thread...as smone who knows the anxiety u hv been going thru , i would first say , i hav got some tips . so , consider my openg of this thread as a sign from universe dt u shudnt lose hope . This will giv u hope (i dnt knw why i am feelng it so strongly to push u thru it ) . stay hopeful... and the job will be half done. now the technical part : 1. not all single women are denied the visa , though there is a high risk. so , again , stay positive. 2. That and if u r working , attach all ur work history and bank statements . I did , and got the visa 3. Attach all ur office leave documents 4. keep all ur education qualification documents 5. Attach evidences dat ur mother is dependnt on u and needs u back home..this cud be the strongest evidence of ur intent to return . 6. if u hv past travel history to any country , attach it as a proof tht u hv never violated any terms of any visa before. 7. tell ur reasons to visit usa...why only usa? wt r the places u want to visit..why? wt r these places abt n how much u knw abt them ? 8. talk with compassion n honesty and offer to show the related papers everytime u answer a question . if they ask , be ready to present the papers. so arrange them nicely in the folders. 9. google the commonly asked immigration questions and rehearse well. 10. keep urslf at the immi officer's place and analyse ur answers. will the answers satisfy u ? if yes , good. if not , think abt the points the doubts can be raised on and work onn them . goodluck .... cudnt offer a horary help..bt wishing u all the gudlk ! That is so nice of you to offer many useful advices to me, start6030. You said you got the Visa. Are you a single Chinese female too? I am not really single, I have bf and we have lived together for 8 years. Since we don't want kids, so marriage isn't a big thing to us. Single Chinese female has big risk to be denied in visa application, but it also depends who you are. If you are from Beijing or Shanghai, esp. from Shanghai, you got apartment there or your Hukou is there, you will, most likely, get the Visa. I am not from those cities, I am in Chengdu. So the chance is slimmer than theirs. You are right about good preparations can get better chance, googling the common questions about interview first, and then have rehearsal... I am doing that... There is only one week left. I am a bit nervous. Hope I can/will do well in the interview. Thanks again for your advises and best wishes.

I thought of it in a different way. The 9H would represent the trip to a foreign land, so the 3rd from the 9H would be documents related to it. From this point of view, Venus as the ruler of the trip's third house, is in applying conjunction to Jupiter, the 9H ruler. That would make it a yes. Mercury, ruler of your third house, is in the trip's 3H, under it's own sign. Not only that, but your significator, Moon, is in an applying trine to Mercury. Based on this, I'd say that your documents will be approved. Again, making it a yes to the question. IP: Logged |

Thanks for your reading, midnightvenus. What do you say makes sense too. Actually, I just want to get visa, no intention to go there so far, at least this year, I won't if I have obtained the visa... The answer will come out very soon.. I hope it will turn all right at last. Thanks again for your help.

Updated:I made it, I got my visa. I went for the interview this Monday morning, a young handsome white visa officer interviewed me. He doesn't speak good Chinese, so I had to ask him to repeat a few times, I really wanted to tell him to speak English instead because I was quite anxious I might misunderstand him....... Anyway, he told me I was approved after a few questions. I waited for my passport to be sent back, yesterday afternoon, the bank called and asked me to pick up the passport. Today, bf picked it up for me. He took the picture of the visa page. Yes, I did get the visa, multi-entries with validity of 10 years. Thank all of you guys for the help. I almost gave up but most of you said this horary looks positive, so I finally went for the try.

Happy for you! I'm surprised they don't ask you which language you would like to be interviewed in or have a proper translator.... but then translators can be bribed to say all the right things... Thank you for the feedback as well - good to know that regardless of travel, documents are documents and use the 3rd house. IP: Logged |

In my application form, I chose Chinese and English which I speak. Visa officer even asked me if I speak English in the interview and I sometimes was too anxious to answer his question mixed English. However, he insisted in speaking Chinese to talk to me..........Don't know why.. Yes, 3rd house is probably the house for the document like Visa.. Thank you, appleberry. Have a nice weekend.
