I hope contributing to this list isn't considered stepping on toes in this place. I'm new, and not sure of any unspoken etiquette or politics

I just came across this link (which has surely been seen here in the past, but unfortunately this place doesn't appear to use stickies for perpetually requested info!)

It doesn't appear to be a 'definitive' list by any means, but perhaps can supplement your research.

http://www.horozcope.com/asteroids/

It is a list of Asteroids by themes

Estonia, Vedic, Astrology and Numerology, Companies, Computers, Countries, Towns,
Science, Principles, Composers, Astronomy, Satanic, Religion, Money, Business, Sport, Real persons, Love and Sex, Wisdom, The Nine Muses, Bands and singers, Legendary persons, Lakes, rivers, seas, Space, Astronauts, Humor, Colors, Writers, Mythology; Japan, China, Korea etc; War and Peace, Death, Other Geographical, Castles, Observatories, Universities, Tribes, Physicists, Astronomers, Philosophers, Film and TV, Nature, Planes and Flying, Flowers, Plants, Slavian Mythology, German and Celtic Mythology, Finnish Mythology, Asian Mythology, Indian Mythology, Egypt Mythology, Middle-east Mythology, African Mythology, Japanese Mythology, Historical persons

Some more Female Asteroids:

52 Europa-a Phoenician princess in Greek mythology. The story of her abduction by Zeus in the form of a white bull was a Cretan story; as Kerényi points out "most of the love-stories concerning Zeus originated from more ancient tales describing his marriages with goddesses.

36 Atalanta: a fierce Hunter, took an oath of virginity to the goddess Artemis.

10295 Hippolyta: Queen of amazons

271 Penthesile: Greatest female warrior she was another Amazon queen.

90 Antiope- married theseus, the only amazon to leave the Amazons for marriage.

373 Melusina, the same as Melusine the mythological French mermaid

3497 Innanen- Sumerian Venus

562-Salome- A version of Lilith, she is depicted as an icon of dangerous female seductiveness. Some striptease dancers may have this asteroid prominent in their charts.

622-Esther- an irresistible and beautiful woman, that God used in her lifetime to save her nation.

17-Thetis- a beautiful sea nymph. When a human Peleus(11311) saw her he became infatuated. Zeus and his brother Poseidon made arrangements for her marriage to Peleus, but she refused Peleus. Zeus then advised Peleus to find her when she was asleep and bind her tightly to keep her from escaping by changing forms. She did shift shapes, becoming flame, water, a raging lioness, and a serpent, but Peleus held fast. Subdued, she then consented to marry him. However, years later, she still left him and never came back. (in a man’s chart, a woman that will never be his even if he marries her)

155 Scylla- once a beautiful nymph fell victim to a jealous Circe who turned her into a monster.

281-Lucretia- committed suicide after she was raped, is a legendary figure in the history of the Roman Republic.

545 Messalina- Extremely lustful, but also insulting, disgraceful, cruel, and avaricious; The oft-repeated tale of Messalina's all-night sex competition with a prostitute. The competition lasted for 24 hours and Messalina won with a score of 25 partners.

248 Lamia(asteroid Lameia)- the Greek version of Lilith.

5863 Tara- The Divine Feminine, unlimited compassion and acceptance.

12472 Samadhi- A state of spiritual ecstasy in which consciousness leaves the body." But this is not the whole phenomenon, as the breath stops and so does the beating of the heart. But it is not a form of trance as in the trance state both of these continue. It is claimed that Samadhi is a state attained only by highly Enlightened people--people who have reached Spiritual Illumination. It is a state where the spirit temporarily leaves the body and goes into one of bliss. All the Enlightened Ones who have attained Samadhi describe it as Bliss.

2815 Soma (Vedic)-Soma Skanda is the result of the union of two potent opposite forces (yin and yang) giving rebirth to the aspirant as an evolved being. This is best described in mythology as the union of Shiva and Parvati resulting in the birth of Soma Skanda and hence results in immortality.

2340 Hathor- Egyptian goddess of the sky, love, beauty, and music.

118 Peitho- Not necessarily female but interesting-personification of persuasion and seduction.

77 Frigga- Norse goddess of romance, marriage, sex and reproduction, married women, household duty, and divination.

76 Freyja, goddess associated with magic, shamanism, seiđr, sacrifice, war, death, and sexuality.

2832-Lada-(Slavic) Goddess of harmony, merriment, youth, love and beauty.

7- Iris-is the personification of the rainbow and messenger of the gods/ of heaven, who restores peace in nature. She could travel on air and through water with equal ease, and was able to visit and return from the underworld with impunity and on occasion rescued immortals and humans in distress. Iris is a goddess of the rainbow, messages, emotions and travel. Her symbol is the rainbow.

Asteroids- Goddess of Dawn
Ancient goddesses personifying the dawn include the Greek Eos, the Roman Aurora and the Indian Ushas.
The Greek legend most commonly associated with Eos provides a cautionary message about half-formed wishes. In this tale the goddess of the dawn fell in love with a mortal prince. She beseeched the King of the Gods to grant immortal life to the young prince. He obliged her wish, and granted the man immortality, but not eternal youth. The prince grew older and older, never dying yet always shrinking, until he turned into a grasshopper.
Roman myth speaks of Aurora as a lovely and gentle goddess who renews herself every morning and flies across the sky, joyously announcing the arrival her brother Sol, the Sun. She is also the sister of Luna, the Moon goddess. She gave birth to the four Winds (known as the Venti); Aquilo of the North, Auster of the South, Vulturnus of the East, and Favonius of the West.
The Indian Ushas, a sisterhood of divinities associated with the dawn, are similarly described as radiant, ingenuous, beneficent and beautiful.
This asteroid may draw particular attention to the time of sunrise. Mornings may hold personal significance. An amicable and loving yet overly idealistic character is possible. The ability to dispel the sadness and confusion of others may manifest.

221 EOS-Greek version
94 Aurora- Roman

Asteroid- 676 Melitta
The name Melitta is an Attic form of the Greek Melissa. In Greek mythology Melissa, whose name means "Honeybee", was a benevolent deity who aided the goat goddess Amalthea in nurturing the infant Zeus. In the ancient Mediterranean world bees were associated with several goddesses and their priestesses. The Minoan/Mycenaean Great Goddess Potnia, sometimes referred to as "Pure Mother Bee", was attended by priestesses known as Melissae. The temples of Demeter and Artemis similarly swarmed with "honeybee" priestesses. Honey was considered a sacred substance, lauded for its healing and preservative qualities. Bees were perceived as magical insects capable of crossing the boundary between the world of the living and the Underworld.
Vibilia was the goddess of journeys and travelers. Her divine function was to protect the wanderer from danger and from becoming lost. Statues of this deity were placed at crossroads throughout the Roman Empire.

Asteroid- 144 Vibilia
The name Vibilia may be derived from the Proto-Indo-European root w(e)ib, meaning "to move quickly to and fro".
This asteroid may give an affinity for travel and exploration You may embark upon numerous voyages or expeditions. He or she may also act as a guide and guardian for other travelers.

113-Amalthea

In Greek mythology, Amalthea was the Goat Goddess (or goat-tending nymph) who cared for the infant god Zeus in a remote cave where his mother Rhea hid him from the murderous rage of his father Cronos. The name Amalthea means "Tender Goddess". She symbolizes nourishment, care and protection from harm. Amalthea's horn is the cornucopia, or Horn of Plenty, which provides unlimited food and drink. This asteroid may confer the inclination and ability to nurture others

Bilkis-585

Bilkis is the name of the Queen of Sheba in the Koran. The Queen of Sheba is also attested to in the Hebrew Bible, the New Testament, and Habeshan history. She was the sovereign ruler of the land of Sheba, which included parts of modern day Ethiopia, Eritrea and Yemen. She may have lived around the 10th Century BCE. She is known to the Ethiopians as Makeda. The Roman historian Josephus referred to her as Nicaule. In the Biblical and Quranic accounts, the Queen of Sheba paid a state visit to King Solomon that included the exchange of expensive gifts. In some versions of the story, they also became lovers. The Ethiopian Imperial family claims the direct descent of Makeda and Solomon.
This asteroid may bestow opulent wealth and social influence. A position of high command may be acquired. Long-lasting traditions may be established.

Hel-949
In Norse mythology, Hel was a goddess who presided over an afterlife realm of the same name. The realm of Hel was located in the greater dimension of Niflheim, meaning "Mist World" or "Mist Home". The Old Norse nifl is cognate with the Old English nifol, meaning "dark", and the Germanic and Latin root nebel, meaning "fog". Hel, the province of the dead, was sometimes said to lie beneath one of the three roots of Yggdrasil, the World Tree. The spirits of those who died of old age or sickness came to rest in the halls of Hel. Hel herself was the daughter of the trickster god Loki.

2212 Hephaistos
In Greek mythology Hephaestus was the god of artisans, craftspeople, blacksmiths, sculptors, metallurgy, fire and volcanic activity. He was most unusual for a Greek god in that he was crippled and grotesque in appearance. Hephaestus was the son of Hera, the Queen of the Gods. When he was born his mother thought that he was so ugly that she threw him in distain from Mount Olympus. Being immortal, he survived the fall, but his legs were permanently broken. According to legend, he landed on the Aegean island of Lemnos, upon which he fashioned his fiery forge. This island became a center of his worship.

69230 Hermes -
In the ancient Greek religion, Hermes was a divine messenger and pyschopomp. He conveyed communications among the Olympian gods as well as escorting the souls of dead mortals to the Underworld. He was one of the few immortals (along with Hades, Persephone, Hekate and Thanatos) who could enter and depart the Underworld at will. In addition to crossing the boundaries between worlds, Hermes patronized the pursuit of traveling above ground. In ancient Greece statues of this god served as boundary markers along roadsides. He was also the patron of shepherds, cowherds, thieves, orators, poets, writers, merchants, miscreants, inventors and athletes.

Latona-639

Latona was the Roman equivalent of the Greek Leto, the mother of the divine twins Artemis (the Roman Diana) and Apollo. Latona/Leto was the daughter of the Titans Coeus and Phoebe. Her mythic character is mainly associated with the birth of her children, whom she conceived with Jupiter, the King of the Gods. Jupiter's jealous wife Juno hated the many children whom her husband produced with other women. When she learned of Latona's pregnancy, she decreed that no land would allow Latona to rest upon it. Latona wandered the world, looking for a safe place to give birth, until she came upon the island of Delos. Delos was a moving island, not attached to the ocean floor, and thus unaffected by Juno's order. Leto/Latona was sometimes associated by Classical authors with wolves.
This asteroid may give strong maternal instincts You may face some persecution which forces them to adopt a nomadic lifestyle. They may also parent exceptional children.

There's also Semiramis (Queen of Heaven). I'm always surprised whenever a list of female-based asteroids comes up but that never shows up on the list; I have it conjunct my SN and Ascendant, along with Parsifal.
