MEANING

Plato's dialogues written in 360 BC, contain the earliest references to the civilisation and the island of Atlantis.

The 1882 publication of Atlantis: the Antediluvian World by Ignatius L. Donnelly stimulated much popular interest in Atlantis. He was greatly inspired by early works in Mayanism, and like them attempted to establish that all known ancient civilizations were descended from Atlantis, which he saw as a technologically sophisticated, more advanced culture...... As implied by the title of his book, he also believed that Atlantis was destroyed by the Great Flood mentioned in the Bible.....

Blavatsky took up Donnelly's interpretations when she wrote The Secret Doctrine (1888), which she claimed was originally dictated in Atlantis itself. She maintained that the Atlanteans were cultural heroes. She believed in a form of racial evolution (as opposed to primate evolution), in which the Atlanteans were the fourth "Root Race", succeeded by the fifth and most superior "Aryan race" (her own race). The Theosophists believed that the civilization of Atlantis reached its peak between 1,000,000 and 900,000 years ago but destroyed itself through internal warfare brought about by the inhabitants' dangerous use of psychic and supernatural powers.

Edgar Cayce stated that many of his subjects were reincarnations of people that had lived on Atlantis, and by tapping into their collective consciousness, the "Akashic Records" (a term borrowed from Theosophy), he was able to give detailed descriptions of the lost continent. He also asserted that Atlantis would "rise" again in the 1960s (sparking much popularity of the myth in that decade), as well as that there is a "Hall of Records" beneath the Egyptian Sphinx that holds the historical texts of Atlantis.

The asteroid ATLANTIS is very powerful to identify healers from that era, Edgar Cayce had this very prominent in his chart.

Perhaps I am far out with this but certainly it seems that astrologically Atlantis is on the descendant and we are meeting our ancestral past. "

I find that ex-Atlanteans may also have very potent and meaningful Asteroid Stelliums around Asteroid Atlantis.

DNA OPPOSITE ATLANTIS - you were an Atlantean but must work to integrate those qualities further.

Phaethon 3200 : Cayce implies the Atlantis continent was split into islands after a shifting of the poles, but yet the Atlanteans continued on. I maintain that the only way the Earth’s poles could shift is from a near-by celestial intruder. Back in 1882 one of Helena Blavatsky’s teachers wrote to Theosophist A.P. Sinnett and stressed that the last portion of Atlantis sunk in the year 9,565 BC. Then, low-and-behold, in 1995 two researchers named D. S. Allan and J. B. Delair, who specialise in palaeogeography and cartography, released a book called ‘When the Earth Nearly Died—Compelling Evidence of a Catastrophic World Change 9,500 BC.’ (Exhibit 4). They concluded that a celestial body came into the solar system causing havoc and destruction and dubbed this event “the Phaethon disaster.” “Any celestial intruder arriving from more remote cosmic regions would tend to encounter or pass close only to planets nearest its line of advance at that specific time. Karmic relationships might have a very strong emphasis on Saturn and asteroid KARMA (and conjunctions of the SOUTH Node) in relation to luminaries, angles, nodes, Atlantis and twinflame aspects and also Venus, Amor and Valentine. (Ceridwen)
