Hi there, I'm very new to vedic, I've been dabbling a bit in Western Astrology though. I wonder, what is the equivalent of a synastry and Davison chart in Vedic and are Natals as important in Vedic? If so, what are Natal Charts called? Which is the most precise chart for love? I've read there are a few??------------------ Liz IP: Logged |

Hi CappyLove, Vedic Astrology doesn't have composite or davison charts, the only thing that could be close to that would be the D9 chart which is also called the Navamsa. This is a divisional chart which shows your married life and/or the outcome of who you become after 36 if you are still not married. As for synastry, we don't have a name for it but we essentially do the same thing where we put one persons chart on top of another to see how the planets and positions and house placements will interact with eachother. But because we go by the Vedic system, we would use the Vedic planet aspects, house aspects, etc. IP: Logged |
