I found this interesting video which I thought the astrologer gave a very clear and good explanation on the effects of 7th Lord conjunct with other planets. I feel that this also applies when planets are found in 7th House, like I've Moon and Rahu in 7H and I can relate to both interpretations.

This can be used with other house lords conjunction too.

This is very interesting. My sidereal 7th house ruler is Jupiter and it’s conjunct Ketu and Venus. I’ve only been in one relationship and it was with my ex husband. As time went by, I felt more and more unappreciated. I was giving and giving but my efforts went unnoticed. I felt so rejected that I started to detach myself from the relationship just like he did. In the end, it was like living with a stranger.

The explanations made sense, because Ketu is the “planet” of detachment. But it offers me little hope for the future. Having your planet of relationships (7th house lord) and husband (Jupiter) conjunct Ketu is challenging. Apparently, I need to be with a very spiritual person for a healthy relationship.

Wow, thanks for the sharing! In my friend’s case, his wife has Ketu in her 7H and he complains about her detachment which leads to his detachment from the marriage as well, so I’m thinking this can go both ways.

Though it’s my Moon in 7th, I feel that my partner is the one that can be moody and sulky and I’ll mirror it back at him which of course makes things worse. And Rahu in my 7th describes my rs so well - foreign, hidden, DEMANDING, secretive…

Hikaru, thank you for your reply. I believe this is pointed out by astrology so well, we continuously “mirror” in our relationships. Usually there are similar wounds we’re drawn to, like we’re desperately looking for the same lesson over and over again until we become conscious.

I probably need to become more focused on spiritual growth myself. As my birth chart reflects my own needs that I can keep projecting unto others for all eternity or I can accept the challenge to find wholeness within myself.

I read that for Ketu, it will be good if you and your partner are in some kind of spiritual pursuit together. It will strengthen your bond.
