There's a book called Wishcraft that you can download for free in PDF format from http://www.wishcraft.com/ ~ it might help you generate a few ideas. I've only worked my way through half of it, back in September, and have been meaning to get back to the rest of the chapters. I ended up with all kinds of possible careers listed; now I have to wittle them down to what I really like and think I could do. Angie IP: Logged |

2 more interviews today. One for a waitress/barista position and the other for putting together store display windows. The display window job has a signing bonus.Jiminy Crickets! It would have been easier to just put together my little shop, rather than find a job. I don't even know how many interviews I've been on in the past month. Uugh! I'm starting to feel a bit discouraged. Having stayed home with my kids for the past 8 years has really hurt me as far as my ability to be employed. I wanna stomp my feet and cry, "ITS NOT FAIR!!" Thanks Yin Well, I'm all primped and stinkin' purdy. I have to be there in 30 minutes, and I need to swing by and pick up a cappuccino on my way. I'd better skedaddle. IP: Logged |

No dice, ladies... just been busy with the job hunting business. I applied to two other positions yesterday. A Barista position, and a Call Center Customer Service position at my hubby's company. When I finally do land a job, trust me, there will be an announcement IP: Logged |

Why did the Indians always succeed in making it rain during the "rain dance"?Because they didn't stop until it rained. A gentleman from an MLM company said this to me, although his intentions were questionable, the statement is somewhat profound. Keep trying, my girl IP: Logged |

Thank you honey, you made me kinda hiccup into laughing tears I think the worst thing I could possibly do is, to do everything right with this one (him).. he has major issues with job security - and is paranoid about redundancy because he knows the team can do his job, we did for 6 weeks when he was away! So he gives me a really important job with teeny-tiny instructions and is unavailable to ask for advice!? Good ideas Dani.. otherwise, squishing stale seafood into his carpets is always an option I'm gonna leave this joint before the spot on my head explodes! I'll try and log in when I get home in a couple of hours. (Must update my CV and get another JOB!!) Thanks ya! Made me feel better already *EDIT* (Hehe just saw your 69 post - you're funny ) IP: Logged |
