Today, I stuck a dollar bill in the girls bathroom, and unfortunately couldn't leave before a friend of mine found it...and well, her reaction...was one of...er...well...er...not exactly happiness. She was "weirded out" She especially did not like the happy little blessing I wrote on it. Hm.Oh well, it doesn't matter. I'll keep sticking dollar bills around school, whether or not I do get something in return...which I still haven't, actually. The problem is, I'm running out of dollar bills to post around. This idea is so koool! I'm new to this forum and went out today and started with the blessing bills....It is not easy finding places to hide the bills when cameras in the store may be watching you. I wrote on 5 of them with a green permanent ink pen and then I remembered hearing that it is illigal to deface our money and thought that perhaps the people finding the bills would not be able to use them and so I decided to write the blessing on a stickum paper and fold the money around it. The energy should be the same as is the intent(joy of giving, not only the money but the blessing)and that is the main focus of the whole thing. Another place to hide the money is in the foldup changing tables for babies or the fold up chair for babies in the bathroom stalls, in one of the gardening gloves in the garden center, in a pocket of a child pair of shorts or long pants....mamas with small children are in dire need of blessings. Tomorrow I'll check out the Dollar Tree store and see what hiding places are available. Soooo much fun! It brings out the kid in me big time!IP: Logged |

It's illegal? Really? What if you wrote very very small? Would that be all right? I've already wrote out seven dollars, I don't want them to be unusable....IP: Logged |

I started Friday evening hiding the money blessings and finished up Sat. afternoon, on my way to work. After I left the last store I got into my truck and I kept hearing a bird really, realy close to me as I sat there getting ready to drive and rejoicing in what was accomplished. I opened my door to check out the bird and it was right on top of my truck by the door (has never happened before). I feel it was a blessing for the occasion (we were rejoicing together) Anyway, on my way home this morning, I stopped to get a qt. of milk and check my lottery tickets and I had won $30. That's only the beginning. I know the law of sowing and reaping works..it is eternal. The clerk gave me my $30 in 2 fives and 2 tens and on one of them someone had stamped a web address for tracking that money and so I asked the clerk about the defacing of money and she said it is illigal but it is done all the time and the money is still used. So, whether we write on it or add postums, the outcome is still the same because the intent and law (Giving, etc).is the same. Blessings to all....RhozziIP: Logged |

Haha, I have the weirdest story - I was reading this thread this morning, before I had any classes, and it sounded like so much fun that I wanted to go and try it. So I found a dollar bill, (one of maybe three that I have, lol), found a permanent marker to write some kind of thingy on it, but then, when I went to find the glue stick to stick it somewhere, I realized that I didn't have any glue, or any other type of adhesive anywhere! So I thought to myself, oh well, maybe some other time. So then I grab my keys, and go out to start my car, and guess what? There, just sitting on the floor of the car, right out in the open, is a glue-stick. I'd never even seen it before, I am almost positive - it is not even the brand I would normally buy. Talk about a sign from the universe. On an off-note, does anyone else feel very nervous when they're looking for a place to hide the money? I almost felt like I was stealing something. Thanks for a great idea, Marcia! IP: Logged |

Whoa! That's crazy Johnny! I didnt use any adhesive on my bills. Just placed them in random spots. And yes, I did feel a bit nervous about it - like I was doing something wrong. lol I didnt want to get caught and have to explain what I was doing. Luckily I didnt. IP: Logged |

I still haven't gotten the guts to stick them outside my apartment or my old job! I don't know what it is, it's a peculiar feeling BTW, Johnny, that is weird, but a good weird IP: Logged |

Yeah it is. I think the weirdest part is that it was a brand of gluestick that you normally wound never have even bought. IP: Logged |

I don't know, really, but I'd bet that if you think about it a lot, it takes a longer time for the Universe to pay you back, so to speak. Just focus on fun of giving joy to some unknown person whose reaction you can only imagine, and let your Higher S-Elf take care of the rest. IP: Logged |

Tues. I stopped at the store to check my lottery tickets and the machine said, "Congratulations! You are a winner" and so I checked the store's ticket and it seems I won a free ticket and so I went to redeem my ticket and the clerk gave me a free ticket and $37.80 and I was amazed and asked her why and she said the machine said it was mine and had I had 2 more numbers the jackpot would have been mine (That Is Next!) I was thrilled but couldn't understand why and went out and checked my card for all my numbers in case I really didn't win and there was a mistake and I would have to give the money back. Anyway, it turns out that one set of numbers had 3 that won and another set had 4 numbers that won. Surprise, surprise. Besides doing the blessing bills, I have also been writing my intentions down daily in a notebook because of the power in saying, writing and thinking (I wrote it all backwards here) I read once that whatever you say after I AM is created in your life...that is soooo true, whether it is positive or negative.IP: Logged |
