Actually got a good night's sleep last night, as they got the power back on with AMAZING AMAZING SPEED in our locale.

Many utilities here from all around the country AND even FROM CANADA!!! hurray!!!

They had a Plan, and have been Working The Plan soooo Diligently for years. It's really paid off here in our region. I can't speak for other communities or places in our State of Florida, but our workers here ROCK!!

There are still neighboring streets with residential homeowners here that do not have power yet. I would have expected that they would have their own generators or alternative power source.

It's a bright and sunshiny day here, so, those homeowners who'd installed Solar Panels would be amply resourced right now, if they use regular utilities too? (I don't know how those systems work, or, if they use them together?)

Oh! ... How's this?
The documented(?) immigrant workers here (in our sister-street apartments) are UP on their ladders, FIXING their OWN apartment building rooves (-- probably for free?!).

Back to our residence.
We had the cover of our dryer-vent rip away during the storm.
And very very very minor nuisance (in the scope of destructions elsewhere)???
Our indoor fire-alarm began to chirp-once loudly-sharply every 20 seconds, starting during the height of the hurricane where the structure of the building rumbled vibrated and shook all around us (I hunkered with pillows under the kitchen table!! LOL).

Reported to maintenance who told us we need to replace the battery.
I went to two local stores (walking distance) before finding one that sold ONE 9-volt transistor battery for $8.00?????
uhhhhh, ~WOW??!!
The alarm decided to stop its sharp-loud insistent night-and-day chirp all-by-itself while I was away buying the battery!
I'll have it on-hand to change IF alarm starts to chirp again.

Gained Another Volunteering Position---

On my way past a certain office among the strip stores, finally saw live-people inside the office. I'd been wanting to talk to them for months now.

I knocked on their (locked) door.
Spoke with the office head there.
It is a "Volunteer agency" for conducting police crime investigations designed to help Seniors.
After speaking briefly, he invited me to fill out an application to help in their office.
I could probably be working an extra two mornings a week, doing volunteer-work there.

Still plan on maintaining my afternoon volunteer position downtown in the legal office, as long as I can.

I won't have to look 'dressed up' in the senior-volunteer job. All personnel wear a certain uniform shirt (which I HOPE they provide).

It's a seven-minute walk...
so, no commute, and smaller money/cost-output for me to work there for the extra days (as long as I'm still in residence here).
(Costs greater sum of money to work my Downtown v-job).

(Might mean fewer hours for me to be here at LL... writing, posting, or doing online study.)

*breath* .. Low energy right now.
Pain pill I took is due to begin working soon.
*looks hopefully at the clock*

Dealing with processing the storm here.
AND, my "stuff" is sooo "organized" and compacted by my compressed-packing, that it feels like an IMPOSSIBLE overload to take-apart again. It's like I can hardly remember where even the most-important things are? I find things by serendipity!!

If I "don't think hard about it", then my body seems to gravitate to the right spots???
ROFL ... heh. Go Figure!!

First on the home-front...
Went walking this morning. I heard one Caribbean voice calling out to me with such affection with his cool colloquial accent...
"I am so GLAD to SEE yooou!!"
His salutation was accompanied by a wide swinging wave of his arm in the air.
I echoed same sentiment back to him...

We Understood what each other meant.

I think we here in our 'hood and very-immediate locale REALIZE how UTTERLY INCREDIBLY FORTUNATE we were to have weathered this Event, faring sooo well, compared to even a few streets from where we are.... So fortunate!!

People are even discounting the amount of debris and downed trees here. The Buildings are intact. The Power is ON. And we have Cable!! and it's only been a few days time.
AMAZING CREW-Work.

After going a short distance, I turned left, to continue my walk along the road this time, outside the perimeter of the 'hood. I got friendly toots and nice waves from people passing in vehicles. I didn't personally recognize, and yet, THEY clearly recognized 'me' and gave me a Friendly Greeting.

Then, I saw an older Latino man who had been pushing a loaded shopping cart. He had paused under the shade of a certain tree on his way back from the little stores, resting a bit. Wiping his face with a cloth.

I'd passed him on my walks before...
Always such a nice man. A Different kind of man.
Dignity surrounds him.

As I caught up to him under the shade tree, he spoke.
Do you know WHY I am resting here?..
There are TWO reasons.

I answered him kindly.
Obviously, one reason is that you are VERY hot and sweating, and you need rest under some cool shade?

He responded.
Yes that is ONE reason.
Then he added...
The other reason is that I wanted to be out of your way-- to allow a 'Beautiful Lady' passage on this sidewalk.
(meaning, without my having to veer off into the grasses}...

Now-- okay.
... In another personality, I might have interpreted that as a kind of culturally-mannish flirty kind of masculine-stereotypical BS?

But gently, surprisingly, no.
... I sensed that this "stranger," this inwardly beautiful soul, meant every word of what he said to me, sincerely.
He was giving me REAL Honor vibe, and Respect.
... I felt a suspended 'surreal' in that moment.
Drew a breath.

It was a spiritual-energy exchange.
A resonating 'Honor of The Other', between two spirits, in a holy humble momentary Recognition.

I kept my stride, moving past him, having only slightly politely paused with him a subtle moment.

Once I had gone by...

I broke-inwardly, somehow.
Not in a bad breaking. It was a shift. A sudden spontaneous re-revealing of my spiritual self to my self, in a way that mimicked the EclipseTotality Connection experience (that surprised me).

It was like a brushing of the experience of GOD repeating 'I Love You' again.
This time, the triggering agency, were words and demeanor from a human-being-- one who Reminded me, by Seeing me-- when I least expected it.

I Have Value, which Others See and Realize about me, without my saying anything, or behaving in any 'good' kind of way, other than Just being who I am--
even "strangers" are aware.

I readily offer Kindness to others, automatically and very CONSISTENTLY... It's one of the Ideals I hold. With each and individual person that I come across on the Path of life, I want THEM to feel Specially-Valued, Recognized/Seen, and Uplifted in some sort of way.

And

I have to monitor and stop my own self, noticing once more how MUCH unrest I can have rattling and looping inside my brainy/head.
That I end up 'picking' on myself, criticizing me, for what *I* think is not in integrity of thought and character.
Other words, the 'not-me'.
The thing that I want to purge from my selfish self-y human self.

People don't deserve that.
'The World' doesn't need that.... *bheart*

Observing here,
that
I get mad at myself for 'getting miffed' inside,
and for the times I can feel soooo dern irritable and self-frustrated at maybe(?) innocent things/people/situations??

I added the *roll* ... because it's silly!... and sad for myself to expect that I can have perfect control within.

I am a HUMAN, and make mistakes I do not wish to?

Sometimes... the more-preferred type of Mercy, is that Kindness that you GIVE to your own self....

I leave this song for me (and Others) today...

That we AVERT a nuclear war response...
That our leaders would KEEP a 'cool temper' 'clear mind' and solid evenness.

There's cruelty in a shallow society who doesn't understand the ravages of what nervepain can do in the body in the most hidden ways.

Some cruel shallow-knowledge people can judge the person as being psychologically mentally-deranged, to being someone only 'faking' it, as drug-seeking and entitlements-using behavior.

Some physicians they may most-unfortunately wind up in the hands of, are fond of prescribing drugs for clinical psychiatric depression and ~what-all ever else they can stuff into their formulas, in order to do their 'experimental' guesses and miss-steps.

I'm surprised that even the alternative-treatment people are not more open about being a help with it...
Maybe they consider it a different way?
Fibromyalgia has been a recognized condition for decades... but just not investigated as much as maybe it should be?

Maybe Lady Gaga will help with that awareness.

I've been working on this post (which I have severely cropped and put aside for later).

(Dealing with HEAVY sonic environmental issues. Had to go somewhere else yesterday because of it.

I'm going to be looking forward to when I can move from here, and start to get my Health back.

Wednesday, I asked my Volunteer Job if I could put in an extra day... because things were really bad here. Work felt good.

Felt good being Useful-- with all the rescues televised from the quake and hurricanes... Answering the phones, was Useful one on one Helping.

I was having exact transiting Jupiter Libra meeting up with natal Neptune-rx Libra 25+. It saved the afternoon for me, to be with others.

Health is the key to my success...
If I have health, (the sonics problem solved/mitigated), then that opens many more doors of possibility for my future.

I've been watching asteroids, and I've been nervous for this one transiting earthquake-related rock... soon to approach USA natal state name and move up to the Total Eclipse Aug 21 degree. I'm hoping that since this state is named at 0 Leo, that the smaller quake they had before the Mexico City Quake will have been sufficient to pull the energy away from it? .. Trumps chart will show state-name Return, in his 12th house, simultaneously... should be interesting to see "if" that will really mean anything. (Better that it wouldn't..., or be a mild-mention.)

I'm up late... Rm is asleep in the chair, when he needs to be on his CPAP to oxygenate his brains... This is a precursor to his retirement?? .... no, hope I won't be here too much longer. I need to Live my Life. And be part of something that is Good. Forward.

It was a hell of a day, with construction equipment (Utility trucks at work) outside our building, driving pipes into the ground.

Rm only has tomorrow to work.
Then Mon Tues.
Is Off Wed.
Back to work Thursday...
.... then Retirement Day, last lap Sept 29 Friday.
By nightfall... It's over.

Next week, is the last almost-regular week I have left here, depending what's going on. Then the Change happens in the way our home life will be, from that point, until whatever plan is made and executed.

I don't mind so-called menial tasks at all.

I'm sooo glad I listened to DS forecast for Sun Libra Moon Scorpio. She said that Sun Libra can have the effect (in my words) of spreading out your head where everything seems lost/complicated-- (okay, those are DEFINITELY my words, not hers. I'll have to review the vid.)

What I do know based on fact, is that he tends to 'not' be cooperative, as far as keeping SOME kind of good block-schedule conducive to good health habits...
He doesn't keep his word there.
I NEED to be able to predict 'his' scheduling, so I can adjust and MAKE my OWN good schedule.
I hardly have faith that he can be willing to make that kind of sacrifice for ME, for MY health's sake--
*humor* ... every way and layer you want to take that!! LOL

And CERTAINLY... even though I have gotten along with this man for over 10 years now, taking personalities out, and looking AT what I live with *sonically* ---
I CANNOT still stay Healthy and have any repairs to my health condition. To BE HERE 'IN' this *sonic* atmosphere... continues to drive down my body, eroding physical health and wellbeingness.

I'm a good sport.
I've well-STOOD/persevered IN this *soup* for a LONG LONG time.
I can deal (mutable/flexible) with rm personality (up till now) (have no idea what shift will happen with retiring, and his resistance to taking care of himself AND me for healthiness-sake)---
.... BUT there's a natural-limit to what a flesh-body can continue to be part of, without a downgrade kind of consequence.

I thank God for having given me an excellent body, that has withstood soooo much in the past. It's served me really well... been pretty resilient... but something's gotta give here, and I PRAY it would not play out in the form of a health event for me. I would be 'finished'. (especially with the BAD healthcare in this region, lack of doctors, rising health insurance, etc etc, SLASHING of funds available to states.. -- only the rich that can keep up their good health regimens and afford health care, get to stay Alive. .. Without health care, the 'weaker' the more-aged, will die "naturally"? from lack of Care. )

At one point the two smaller teams seemed halted and stood conferring with each other on a matter, raising more confusion and questions than solutions.

I had been merely a spectator up till then.

Decided to take a bold leap into the conversation. I interrupted, and offered to do a computer search for them. They looked, then gave me permission.
.. Within a matter of a few keywords, I found all the information they needed, which clarified seeming conflicts in the information they had.

With that find, one of them asked me if I'd like to make the outgoing call, which afterwards yielded a desired responsive-action on the behalf of the client. (yay)

They highly complimented my phone-style.

At the end of the day's session, I had been able to help them make some tiny advances on several cases today.

The main boss will train me with another new recruit next week.

Mentioned to him that something a bit unanticipated had come up regarding the living place I've had for ten years now. Looks as though I am being more pressed towards having to move out sooner, than later than I thought?

He said this training can apply to all the different offices they hold.
I had immediately passed all the levels of vetting they require.

It was a good day for me, in a lot of ways--
I sense the presence of a lighter clean high-vibrational stream of cosmic energy, in the midst of feeling a bit dragged out, raw.
