Was too sleepy to concentrate on reading your post on the day you posted. So I decided to wait and come back when I could give it my best attention: with a proper reading, then thoughtful response.

Hope you didn't 'perceive us' as not being interested in you?

Even right now, I 'might' not be able to get back right-away. (We have major appliance repair job to be done in our home-- waiting on the replacement part to arrive now).

But there are other people who DO read threads here in Labors Of Love, and would have probably replied?

I'd like to invite you to re-post, if you want to. Or at least give us an 'update' of what's going on?

What did you learn about yourself, your boss, your situ because of this 'perception'?
