When i found the book Goobers in the book store my mouth dropped I said $28.00's I'm not paying that much for a book...and it was huge.....i put the book back on the shelf and walked away to try to find something else.....I didnt find anything else.......picked up the book and paid for it and never looked back... Besides Star Signs it is my most favorite book. That book opened my heart it opened my mind...it probably saved my life. Oh, my...I was thrilled, Sahana, to hear of your chance enounter with Star Signs in India! You know what? I found Star signs in India, too! I was living in the U.S. at the time, and I had to go to the other side of the world to have my turn with this powerful Code Key to the universe! I never heard anything about this Linda Goodman lady ( I say with much LOVE!!!!!!), BUT...I was searching, so hard, desperately searching for a "sign" as I said to heaven at the time, "Love, give me a miracle!! I need a miracle!!" Roaming the streets of Paharganj, Delhi, I found that even world travel cannot give you instant "enlightenment", that I had to be patient, and wait for new developments to take foot. Now, I am VERY impatient with my expansion into light, so I was carrying my favorite crystal, praying for my sign, my miracle, ANYTHING(!) that would show to me the splendid radiance of this world, and catapult me out of my mundane thought patterns, when I wandered into a fancy-schmancy hotel, Le Meridien, and used the bathroom. Then, I noticed a tiny little gift shop smaller than the bathroom, and decided I'd give up my search for "answers" temporarily and get a postcard instead. I immediately noticed Star Signs on the shelf- at first the spine looked to me like a bestseller/romance novel type of book(not my bag, baby!) so I walked away and got a coke at the bar. A hundred rupees they charged me!! Isn't that crazy, Sahana? OK< so anyway... I went BACK into this teeny tiny little bookstore, with, like maybe three books and a postcard for sale(not really, but) picked up the book and Bought it! I will always remember this part!! The cashier guy looked at the book and said to me, very sweetly, "Oh! Do you believe in this stuff?" Now, I had nooooo idea what the book was about, but because I like to be auspicious and cute, and winky and twinkly an all that stuff, I said to him, about this strange and wonderful book, something that struck me for a reason I didn't understand at the time, but really struck me, y'know? Anyway, I said to him, "Oh, My yes!! Absolutely, with all of my heart." and he just smiled, and told me to enjoy it. It was just the right time for me to absorb the wisdom of this book, of course. How could it be any other way?IP: Logged |

WOW, what an amazing story I have noticed that Linda's 'spirit' is very much 'alive' in India...as evidenced by our 'family' members over there.... I just think that is wonderful, that she would 'live' in a country rich in such spiritual history! How BLESSED you folks from India are to live in a part of our world that has enriched so many with it's spiritual lessons and gifts. As I wrote that an 'owl' just hooted outside my window...letting me know I am right. (Thanks Uni-verse for that nice homey sign ) ------------------

Hi Charisma,U came to India? And the book seller didn't overcharge u. It costs around Rs 110. So how was ur Indian experience ? I think Linda has a way of finding out lost and confused souls like us, who needs her star sign codes very urgently . And the book somehow magically appears at very unexpected places. Imagine my finding it in a railway station. . And Randall Linda has a huge fan following in India. They love her here. DO u think she may be hiding here. Sahana IP: Logged |

Eliza: Thanks for spreading around your sparkle! Show us more, dear! Sahana: They charged me 110 rupees for the coke! The book was about four times that!(fancy hotels for ya) I love India and the surrounding countries- was like visiting a very very old friend. But I have barely even hinted at scratching the surface of India-the first trip just gave me a tiny taste- I will surely return when the opportunity lends itself! Take care KarisIP: Logged |

Hi all, One of the things I like best about Linda is that she did alot to clarify astrology. When there were so many people out there teaching false methods, or giving false profiles of sun signs, she taught the truth. She did this also with numerology. Her chapter about numerology in "Star Signs" changed my life. I was born with a given name which equaled to a 17/8. My childhood was horrendous, as well as my teenage years. After reading her book, I changed the numerical value of my name, and the karmic blows of the 8 vibration eased. It is true that eights and fours attract each other. When I calculated it out, I found that almost every number that influenced my life was an 8 or 4. The two siblings I grew up with were 8 and 4. My best friend was an 8. My address added up to an 8, as well as my phone number and bank account number. Most of the people that entered my life were 4s or 8s. It was uncanny. I don't attract 4s and 8s much since I changed my name. I do still need to heal from the past, but at least I can do it from a place where I am not in constant tourmoil, as I was when I was influenced by the 8. I think it was so bad for me personally because my birth number is a 20/2. I believe I read in "Star Signs" that that is one of the worst possible combinations. I do know some 8 people that do not have it that bad, and are quite happy. The 23 goes well with the 8, I have noticed. Linda was a wonderful person, and she touched many lives. I have been to Cripple Creek several times (I used to live in Colorado Springs). When I went to the place where Linda lived, it was wonderful (it's an inn now). I felt the most warm, loving presence. I didn't want to leave. I know the people who lived in that house were beautiful people, especially Linda. I am sure it was her presence I was feeling, (mabye Tesla's also) and from that alone I can tell you she is a beautiful, loving person. Sincerely, ChandraIP: Logged |

Randall, There was the bookcase, full of first editions of Linda's works. The inn did a great job at keeping Linda's memory alive. They are great people. LMB IP: Logged |
