Maybe on the front (to save precious space) you could have written "All proceeds to Charity/ies" and then on the back cover state which ones you are honouring and why....just an idea......

Wow, I think a book to Linda would be an excellent idea! I'm with Donna--I want to know how Linda was led to her spiritual path and whatnot. Donating the "monies"(what a neat word) to charities is a truly noble cause, I'd put it on the front myself.

Good Luck!

Hi Randal,

I just wondered if you have "officially" decided to write the book or are you still considering it?

When you begin the actual writing will you be talking about it in the forum or do you need to keep it close to your heart at first?

I just really REALLY hope you are able to do this. I am very excited about it.

Are you going to talk about Linda and Robert's chart? It's probably going to take some "divine" help to make him talk but hey, you've got that in the bag!!

I'm waiting for Linda to give me the okay. I started this site after I "felt" her approval. I just want to make sure this is what she wants and that I'm the right person to do it. Talking about their charts is an idea. I might want to keep it less technical, though--mainly about her Life, her childhood, her family, her friends, and her Cripple Creek neighbors. I may keep it close to my Heart until it's done, or I might post it online as I do each chapter. Or maybe I'll post the first chapter only. I feel the book will be written. I'm just not sure I should be the "chosen One."

I realize the word "unauthorized" has negative connotations, but wouldn't people still buy the book? And I could clarify in the Foreword that this book is a celebration of Linda's Life. It would be clear that there would be nothing scandalous in it. It might have some sad parts, because Linda's Life was wrought with tragedy, but it was all part of her journey. We wouldn't have connected with her the same way if her Life was all rosy all the time.

To Whom it may concern here,
As an admirer of LG's books, we think it would be a bad idea to publish any sort of biography about LG, authorised or unauthorised, for the following reasons:

1) If LG wanted a biography about herself, she would have done it herself and if you take a hard look at Gooberz, it IS a biography of sorts.

2) LG was INTENSELY reclusive, if she didn't want nosey-parkers in her life, there must have been a reason for that and we need to respect that.

3) The sort of biography you want to write is invasive, it intrudes on the private lives of those closest to her including her children, her gurus and her ex-lover (who BTW has since re-married and has kids of his own, they don't need to be exposed to this) If those said parties wanted the life of LG to be known, THEY would have come forward by now but they haven't. Furthermore these people who have been individually thanked and acknowledged in her books would certainly be in a better position to come and write a book about her rather than someone who just merely read her books and suddenly thinks he's some mystical keeper of the flame, which you ain't Randall.

4) This doen't sound like a genuine effort to publicize and spread the teachings of LG to more people but rather like some cheap attempt of an outsider to gain an intimacy with LG's inner circle, somewhere where they have no right to be.

5) Let LG rest in peace, she's moved on to another plane of awareness and the point to her books was that WE move on also in her teachings. They were beginner's books and the path they put you on was meant for you to go forward instead of wallowing in this deification of her and the ghost of her life. Her life wasn't the point, her teachings were.

BTW, we are in no way affiliated with the Crystal Bush site, we think that site is just as crappy as this one.

May Linda FINALLY rest in peace.

Black Opal

PS. sorry we have no corny pictures of melting snowflakes or dancing elves...OOOPS I mean dancing S-elves.

Why...OPAL, WELCOME !!

Since you have been reading, I am delighted you decided to post. WOW, you certainly 'blew in like a hurrican' Truthfully, I do look forward to hearing what you have to say on other threads.

I think the type of book Randall is planning would be more of a self discovery. A path he found himself on led by LG. It would also show the 'human' side of LG...as you are right, so many try to deify her. She was, after all, a 'person' just like us.

So many of us here like to have a place where we can share our struggles, challenges and triumphs in LIFE. There are so few places left. So, in that, we are MERRY MET here

WOW...Opal you have some intense feelings. Linda was a very loving and nurturing person. I don't think she would have appreciated your negativness. I understand your concerns about Randall wanting to write a book. You make some valid points although somewhat tackles. If Randall chooses to write a book it's on him ...and should not effect you in any way.

Hi Opal~

I was just wondering, who is "we" you mentioned at the end of your post, and what website you affiliated with? Can we check it out?

I agree, no one with enLightenment at Ms. Goodman's level would enjoy such angry, negative responses to any idea that meant to honor her in anyway.

As far as *exposing* anyone to anything I can't imagine Randall writing anything that could in anyway be construed as negative, and if read by any who are in her *inner circle* (chuckle) wouldn't leave them with a warm feeling... But, as Somo said, it is Randall's decision in the end whether he wishes to do so or not - and will own all that comes from it, good or bad ... my guess is good tho ...for many, as he wishes to contribute the profits to charity.

<~~~ love those little thingies ~~~~>

Hi, Black Opal. I think you misunderstand. I would only write a lot of detail about those who consent. I have to call it an unauthorized biography simply due to my name not BEing Crystal Bush. It would in no way be an expose or negative or intrusive. It would be a celebration of those who knew her and pictures that they might want to share with the world. There are many amateur photos of Linda out there, I'm sure. I am convinced that many of the people you mentioned (led by Linda's Spirit) would consent to BEing interviewed by my S-elf. I have not decided to do the book, because I want to be sure that Linda would want it. I am awaiting a Uni-versal Sign that leaves no doubt in my Mind and Heart. Linda would have Loved this site. I k-NOW it. I wouldn't have created it otherwise. And I won't start the book unless I'm sure.

Thank you for your candidness and honesty. I respect you very much for that. I did not take your words harshly at all. I do understand what you feel. Welcome to the site, by the way. I hope you stay around for a while and explain your thoughts in more detail.

About calling Crystal's site "crappy," I want to add my two cents concerning that comment. I do not k-NOW what Crystal Bush thinks about us (the unofficial fan site), but I do hope she doesn't look at us as "competition" of any sort. Whatever she may or may not think of us, we owe her our respect. Linda chose her to carry on her name. If Linda thought enough of Crystal to do so, we should understand that Linda knew what she was doing. We should never judge another until we have walked a day in that person's shoes. I fully support Crystal Bush, the Official site, and Gregory (even though we have had our words--mostly my fault). And Linda would have been ecstatic about the power of the internet and the way we are using it to spread her Love throughout the world.

A Prayer

I pray on this day,
that all souls who find their paths, intermingled in any way,
take comfort in each other-
and allow the things we say,
to be riddled with auspiciousness-
for we truly are the voice of God-
(in a very hearable way)-
I pray, that on this day,
we all embrace the other-
and know that each resides in a space
not separate from our own.
may we remember the divine
(it travels up our spine!)
and bear witness to each other,
in a most honorable way-
for we all need acceptance,
(whether we are able to give it or not)
And we all carry within-
the smoke of pure spirit.
See it-even in those who haven't seen yours-
and always be the "keeper of the flame";
for it is noble to turn and share what you know with others.
In this way, we are the hands of God
on the material plane.
may it be so-now and forevermore.

Randall, I'll say it again(I'ts worth repeating): You are a very kind soul!
