Hi all, I see Bearing Small Gifts beat me to the punch with Linda's signature. Thank you, that was "Beari" nice! Meanwhile I was able to dig up and scan some margin notes from Linda's unpublished manuscript SPIDER LINE: Linda Goodman's Search For Sally. These are hastily scrawled notes, and probably better represent the "working Linda." A margin note from the Spider Line manuscript Another margin note from Spider Line Note from a letter to a friend 1n 1968 Hope everyone enjoys these! Love, Greg IP: Logged |

(A rare occurence, indeed ) Only, now I wish the book SPIDER LINE was finished <sigh>. Maybe I'll just have to 'slide' into another reality where it was. I'll keep you posted ------------------

Hi again, light lovers,Thanks so much for the warm welcome. And Princess, thank YOU for working out my nic number. I didn't realize that! My birth number also comes to 7. And even though the 7 vibration is supposed to contrast with my sun sign, my ruling planet is in Pisces, so I think I do spend a lot of my time 7-ing. You have so many neat graemlins here. I want to try them all. It has been some time since I tried to analyze handwriting, but I'm guessing it's good to have samples of both the formal and informal script to check out. About all I remember is that those upward sweeps at the end of both signatures indicate optimism. Peace on earth, good will to all, Beari IP: Logged |

Thanks guys, so much for sharing this handwriting with us Well, from what I know of graphology, I'll give you all a short analysis:The first sample shows all that we know and love in Linda. The size of her letters shows that she is a social and outgoing person. Her "reaching out" end stroke shows just that; she loves to reach out to people. I think this is the characteristic in her writing that was so warm, that everybody could relate to. Her breaks in her writing show that she is a very intuitive person. The way she writes her "o's" shows that she does not harbor secrets about herself, but that she can and does always keep a secret. Exactly the kind of friend everybody would like to have And (I think you all will like this) the way she dotted her "i" in magic, well, that means she is very imaginative... and she really does believe in magic Walt Disney dotted his eyes like this too. Also, her strokes (kind of like waves, I forget the name for them) show that she is a warm and lovely person In the second and third samples, she is emotionally upset, on a emotional roller coaster, so to speak, as would be expected, considering the nature of the subjects. The third sample shows that she was concerned heavily about the past, and mind was not thinking in the present, but she still tried to the best of her ability in everything she attempted. (this is shown by her t-stroke that doesn't cross, and just barily touches the upward line of the t. That the stroke is still high, shows that she is still giving her best effort). The forth sample, again, shows Linda's ability to reach out to others (the upstroke on the "p". One of the most lovely things about Linda's handwriting, is that she is a humble person. She has confidence, but she knows who she is, and is the same person she was before and after she was successful. (this is shown by the size of her signiture in relation to the other words). A professional graphologist could tell so much more, but that's the little bit that I know. LOVE AND MAGIC INDEED Adwen IP: Logged |

Oh, thank you for that analysis, Adwen! I studied graphology (actually Grapho-Analysis) a looong time ago, but it's one of those things that deserts you quickly if you don't use it a lot.Yes, small wonder that she was upset and preoccupied with the past in the Spider Line samples ... but her optimism shows through in the tone and content of the writing as well as the handwriting. After all, it was she who taught us to always EXPECT A MIRACLE! Love, Greg IP: Logged |
