She told the reporter she was over 400 years old tongue-in-cheek. That being said, the natural progression is to become a fruitarian (so as not to take life to sustain one's life), but I feel one can become immortal without being a fruitarian. ------------------ "The stars which shone over Babylon and the stable in Bethlehem still shine as brightly over the Empire State Building and your front yard today. They perform their cycles with the same mathematical precision, and they will continue to affect each thing on earth, including man, as long as the earth exists." Linda Goodman IP: Logged |

The idea is that when you eat the root or part that grows underground, you kill the plant. The fruit is made to be eaten to spread the seeds. ------------------ "The stars which shone over Babylon and the stable in Bethlehem still shine as brightly over the Empire State Building and your front yard today. You're immortal once you have the thought transformation through knowing and affirming. The rest is a progression. It does go to reason that fruitarianism will be the inevitable future goal.IP: Logged |

Did that make sense? For example, what if you are on Linda's 15 year plan and in the early stage--aren't you still immortal?------------------ "The stars which shone over Babylon and the stable in Bethlehem still shine as brightly over the Empire State Building and your front yard today. I'm a vegan sometimes vegetarian (chocolate and cheese are my down fall) but I believe that what you think directly corresponds to what happens. We are all taught cause and effect in grade school. If you believe that you are immortal, then you are. IP: Logged |

No, she advocates becoming a fruitarian after a 15-year cleansing period. The first 5 years with only eliminating red meat.IP: Logged |

God, I miss her!!! No one wrote like she did. Very cosmic energy there. Randall, did you know Linda personally? And as to food and immortalism--being an immortal is a PROCESS. As long as you're still alive, you are always becoming "more immortal". It's a journey, not a destination, which begins with declaring oneself as such. So it's entirely possible to "be immortal" and be anywhere on that ever-expanding path. ------------------ Big girls need big diamonds--Elizabeth Taylor I have no sympathy for those afraid of mystery--2pac Shakur, "How Do U Want It" I never worry about diets. I wrote her a very heartfelt, emotional, personal letter once, and she came to me in a dream; a fact for which I will ALWAYS be grateful!!! Especially now that "the curtain has been pulled back" a bit more, and I know how much stuff she was dealing with herself. That somehow makes it even MORE meaningful. ------------------ Big girls need big diamonds--Elizabeth Taylor I have no sympathy for those afraid of mystery--2pac Shakur, "How Do U Want It" I never worry about diets. I received a letter from her about Star Notes when she first started them. It was a beautiful letter, but it wasn't personal. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Do you still have the letter? I think I came to her work right AFTER she was sending the Star Notes. I hadn't heard of them before now.------------------ Big girls need big diamonds--Elizabeth Taylor I have no sympathy for those afraid of mystery--2pac Shakur, "How Do U Want It" I never worry about diets. MANY Thanks, Randall! So Linda was writing these big books and dealing with all of her other stuff AND writing long "Star Notes"?! I have noticed that often successful people do NOT know how to turn it off and take necessary time for themselves! They are too hard on themselves, and rarely do those around them support the taking of time for themselves, anyway. The culture is just CRAZY for activity, too! Often addictions and illnesses come from this, I think. It's the deeper part of a person crying for a break! I have read about celebrities and have noticed this correlation before. (The way I cope with this as an entertainer is, when I am busiest with work, I do NOTHING else! I make sure to sleep and leave the socializing, etc., for another time; as work goes in cycles. And everyone I know knows this and leaves me alone during these times. My mom was more "European" and therefore into the concept of rest and balance. And I learned it from one of my healers.) I just was astonished by the 14 page Star Note!!! LOL!!! ------------------ Big girls need big diamonds--Elizabeth Taylor I have no sympathy for those afraid of mystery--2pac Shakur, "How Do U Want It" I never worry about diets. Yeah, I just saw the first 14 page one and went off on my "balance" tangent! I look forward to reading ALL of the Star Notes. My God, she delivered an ASTONISHING amount of content!!! I've always been amazed at the length of her books. ------------------ Big girls need big diamonds--Elizabeth Taylor I have no sympathy for those afraid of mystery--2pac Shakur, "How Do U Want It" I never worry about diets.
