Famousnes is an illusion. Maybe she wanted to walk in peace again. Maybe write more books regarding different topics under a different name. I personally immediately thought that her life was over as Linda Goodman, that maybe she would like to be a nun for a few decades and just worship her love of God. She taught that truth is objective. That truth contained rut, and hence does have the ability to set you free from this rut. Also, truth contains hurt. It can indeed hurt, but after you heal, you will be more free. How do you prove you can live for ever? It sounds to me like you will age like the "average person, and look back at your blood swilling days, maybe with good thought, maybe not, that is your life, and you thoughts. I did wonder why she didn't "prove" she wasn't immortal, but realised it didn't matter. She had obviously decided that the life of Linda Goodman was over. I'm hoping that what she did teach us will be immortal.

Three more thoughts:

1. Numerology and knowledge.
When I first learnt about Chaldean numerology I thought that is way too amazing for our humanity, but maybe we have caught up. Linda was the first voice I heard that said humanity was able to do anything. I still question some of her writings, but I don't think any of it could be false. I just wonder as to the hidden knowledge that I don't yet understand - read below to your other questions.

2. Intelligence
Who cares? You think your so intelligent? Great! I hope you live a lonf and prosperous life with your intelligence. I don't care. Imagination is not only more important than knowledge as Einstein said, but I believe it is more important than memory. Imagination shapes your memory. What is intelligence? So you murder people, or do other horable sins, but are intelligent, so what? WHO CARES?

No I do not belong here. I just started browsing the astrology forums and stumbled into these idiotic posts. I had no idea that Linda had such a following of idiots and sheep. Some of her ideas are a joke, but I had no clue that people actually followed them religiously! Why do I read and stick around? Well, for the same reason why most people do: Comedy. Entertainment. It's really no different than reading something crazy, shocking, ridiculous or hilarious on the web. Actually these debates are the only interesting thing to read here, so thank me. Other than that, it's terribly boring and lacks depth, intelligence and any true insight. Since no one can give intelligent replies, only the same old babble over and over again, I've already gotten bored. I severely doubt I'll be sticking around. But deep down, you guys really love it! I'm the most interesting and intelligent person that has come to this site. If you didn't want me here you wouldn't be egging the situation on. I am surely the only one on this entire site who feels this way, and it will probably shock most of them out of their socks, but there is something about you that I like. Besides seeing a bit of my old self in you, you remind me of someone I used to know. I do not know if it is the attitude, the offensive language, the personal attacks and insults, or what ... but it is familiar, and I can see through much of it.

I fear that you are on your way to being banned after that last post (it was a doosy! ) so I just wanted to say, hello and, probably, goodbye.

You really know how to push buttons! But did you really have to call them/us morons and idiots? I know, you call 'em like you see 'em, but still ...

Oh, just out of curiosity (if you are not banned before you can respond ) ... how would you know whether or not you had met an immortal? They do not all look like Zeus, you know.

When I read "Star Signs" it felt like my mind first opened (or maybe my brain finally left). It had many theories which appropriately can't be proven or disproven, and some that I couldn't quite fathom. I felt the truth in many of the words though. I understood the greater scheme of things. Life didn't seem so black and white after I finished that book. In fact, a couple days after I met two avatars that I have seen occasionally that back up how I feel, but that's beside the point.

My point is that this pathetic sheep was very much affected by the writings of Linda Goodman. I feel it has changed my life. I have seen much truth in numerology too. I personally believe it is the "proof" that God exists, and that there is a structure - Astrology is the cogs, but Numerology is the "language" as maths is the "universal language". It does not work in any other language than English. To fob it off as "more brainwashing" doesn't make sense. You read the words, and understand if they are true or not. It is not a cult. Every person I did them for made perfect sense. To me this is a BIG thing! Just because it can't be proven or disproven does not mean it does not have validity!

TINK, I personally feel that people learn of their own accord, and may present opportunities for you to explain something, but whether they understand it or not is different story. At the end of the day, they may remember something and benefit from the exchange, so I think it's all good.

Ummm one question Succubus... I have been a nurse for 5 or 6 years, and I don't really know of any ways to extract blood from someone without at the very least a needle, and to some degree or another last time I checked; that hurts!

You say that in following your form of vampirism, you hurt no one. How is this possible?

Maybe I can use your method to make blood draws more palatable to patients.

I actually knew a self-professed vampire. She was starved (pun intended) for attention, hence her use of the term. In actuality, she was a very disturbed individual who had a blood-drinking sexual fetish. She preferred to use razors to make the cut, and then sucked out the blood from the wound. I gathered that was the way it's traditionally done in the vampire-wanna-be club. Now where's my Acme Vampire Repel Kit? I might need it if I have offended the hoards of undead roaming around on the Net.

Tsk tsk...You people never cease to amaze with with such ignorance. Obviously if the person is consenting they are enjoying the experience. What is pain to you may not be pain to someone else.
