Topic: can anyone tell me about sally... and other parts of lindas life

i was just wondering about her daughter sally, ive seen little snippets in posts about sally but i would like to know the whole story. its hard to piece together what the deal is with just the snippets. i know from lindas books that she had a daughter named sally, who won an oscar [*note- maybe was not oscar? american academy of dramatic arts, is that oscars?] in 1973, then vanished, and part of lindas life was devoted to finding her. what happened beyond that? apparently she was also writing a book about her experience in looking for sally? if anyone could put me up to speed id really appreciate it. i hate mysteries :P but also i always felt so bad for linda, and im curious as to how this all turned out. *edited to say i dont hate mysteries, i only hate not knowing the truth, i actually love mysteries, doh! i just hate when i cant get information about mysteries IP: Logged |

ack i forgot some of my other questions. i hope this isnt already covered in this forum... if so, forgive me, being on 56k means i have to limit my time online so as not to tie up the phone, and everything loads so slow besides *sigh*i also wondered about her husband, because i know she was married, two of her children had different last names, started with s? i think she lived alone in cripple creek though. thats the impression i got. whatever happened to her children? are they involved with her legacy in any way? does anyone know where she was buried (if she was buried) so that one day i might be able to visit her grave? (i dont mean that to sound morbid, id love to leave her a flower, its all i can do). im curious about so much... what happened to her house in cripple creek? i bet it would be worth a lot of money, as people would buy it just because it was hers. after that other thread, im curious as to the police chief guy, another thread i read said that he wanted to share stories? thats too bad that he didnt  ack gotta get offline, expecting a call... always happens when im on fire and curious about something :/ i will come back tonight and have more time to sit and read. thank you for your patience and forgiveness as i get acclimatized here. *hugs* ps im a libra sun sag rising aries moon, so anyone who knows what that means would understand me heh IP: Logged |

HI ANAFAERY ,I TOO AM VERY INTERESTED TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED TO LINDAS BODY,I WROTE TO cRYSTAL ABOUT 4 YEARS AGO TO INQUIRE ABOUT THIS AND SHE WASNT FORTHCOMING WITH ANY INFORMATION.......SHE WOULD ONLY SAY THAT IT WAS LINDAS CHOICE WHAT HAPPENED TO HER AND WHEREVER SHE WAS THIS WAS HER CHOICE TOO ...VERY MYSTERIOUS.......ALSO DE LAST TIME LINDA SAW SALLY WAS WHEN SALLY WAS DRIVING OFF WITH HER FRIEND MARC IN HIS CAR....THEY HAD A VERY STRAINED RELATIONSHIP AS SALLY TOOK DRUGS AND LINDA DIDNT APPROVE..........HENCE SALLY DIED OF A DRUGS OVERDOSE AND HER BODY WAS POSITIVELY IDENTIFIED BY SAM O GOODMAN.........LINDA NEVER ACCEPTED THIS AND CAME UP WITH LOTS OF CONSPIRCY TEORIES AS TO WHAT SHE THOUGHT HAPPENED TO SALLY AND BELIEVED HER TO BE STILL ALIVE SOMEWHERE.....I DONT BLAME HER AS A MOTHER OF FOUR MYSELF SO WHEREVER LINDA IS NOW I HOPE SHE HAS FINALLY SOLVED THIS MYSTERY AND PUT HER MIND AT REST ...MAYBE SHE HAS EVEN MET UP WITH SALLY...I DO HOPE SO.. I've always wondered about this too. Sai Baba, do you know anything else about Sally's friend Marc Salinger? Linda mentions him in Love Signs. "when he reads this...wherever he is" Did he disappear too? Perhaps he was also replaced by an astral twin? Did he believe Linda's theory? She also says in Love Signs,"At first, everyone but Mike and Aaron thought my judgment had been prejudiced by grief." Did her other children, Bill and Jill, come to believe?IP: Logged |

Marc Salinger died in Feb. of 1977 of "mysterious circumstances", something about jumping over the San Francisco bridge. I wish I could tell you how I know this, but I can't. A while back I was in touch with people who were "in the know" of these things and I honestly can't remember who I heard this from, only that this grieved Linda to no end who had a deep friendship with Marc, who was also Sally's boyfriend. Ana - Linda's children are Sally, Bill (who are Bill Snyder's children) and Jill and Michael (who are Sam Goodman's children). I have a feeling these children were - are- wonderful people. I get such a loving vibe when I think about them. Of course there is the tragedy and unsolved mystery with Sally (I consider it unsolved, anyway) but I've seen an interview where Michael is involved and you can tell how much he loved/loves his mother. He's the only one I've heard being vocal about his mother and though I'm sure it was hard to have Linda as a mother at times (she had such a demanding literary life) I think they were all well-loved. The house in Cripple Creek - the first house, on Carr AVe. is now a wonderful B&B called "The Last Dollar Inn" owned by people who appreciate Linda and who have tried to keep the house looking as much like it did when LInda owned it as they can. The second house Linda owned, one by far more glamorous - I don't know what happened to that one. I think someone bought it. As for Linda's grave, I am under the assumption that she was cremated. I'm pretty sure she was. Hope that helps and answers some questions. Love
