I am pondering the 3-11 vibration of the Aries and Aquarius as Linda spoke of it. Page 147 Love Signs. She views the 3-11 as a karmic endeavor . I believe this is very true. Your thoughts? Also, I wondered if that also included an Aries moon as well as the Sun sign. juniperb ------------------ If having a soul means being able to feel love and loyalty and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans. ~James Herriot IP: Logged |

Verrrry interesting.Let me re-read it, contemplate it, and give you my thoughts. And sure, I think this can apply to an Aries moon. Any strong Aries placement, like sun moon or rising. I've felt that sun moon and rising are all so important to a person's make-up that they are almost equal. Just my opinion, though. IP: Logged |

I agree; the Sun gets all the publicity due to ease of calculation, but I feel all three are equally important (or at least a good case can be made of all three being equal). ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Juni, so I go home last night, get some exercise, make some dinner, read a bit, make a pot of lentil soup...wondering, what have I forgotten to do? Then I go to work on my book......and this morning I realized that I forgot to reread that section of the book! *slaps head* So I have made a mental note to not forget to do that tonight!! You know, speaking of the Asc., Sun and Moon being equal or nearly so in a chart, I have noticed that some of my strongest ties with other people are between our moons or sun/moons... IP: Logged |

I`ll add my thoughts... I`ve discovered all my dear relationships has a prominent Aries Placement which I found intriguing. The specific vibration of 3 - 11, if I`m interpreting correctly, is Sun sign only for the Karmic value. Not Moon or rising sign. I`ve found that I can see a Karmic value in the Aries Suns of my relationships. I was quite flabbergasted to see it so clearly. Curious if the Aqua is strongly placed in your relationships! My Cancer has an Aries Moon just to keep me on my toes . juniperb ------------------ If having a soul means being able to feel love and loyalty and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans. ~James Herriot IP: Logged |

It was under the desk. But I haven't re-read it yet!!Well juni, I have had only 2 Aqua friends that I can recall, and both ended badly. One was definitely my fault, the other, well, it was a miscommunication of sorts. With Aqua on the 7th house, I'm surprised that I haven't had more water-bearer friends. But I am always most attracted to people who embody the qualities of an Aqua: interesting, unconventional, broad-minded, maybe even a little quirky. My sister is a Leo with an Aqua moon. And then there's you, my friend. Let me read that tonight and I'll answer more... IP: Logged |

Linda`s books, purple plates et al always seems to end up under something... methinks a uni-versal joke ------------------ If having a soul means being able to feel love and loyalty and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans. ~James Herriot IP: Logged |

Juni, I was reading the 3-11 bit in the book yesterday (finally!)...yes, she is referring to sun signs, but I personally think (and of course I am no astrologer) that the asc. and moon can still be included. Linda's books are written so that the novice can understand, while those with more extensive knowledge can also learn a great deal. And for the novice (like me when I first read that book years ago), who doesn't know much about the Asc. and moon etc., it would be difficult to extend those definitions to include them.I had forgotten a lot of what was written about those patterns, and that the 3-11 also was extended from Aries to Gemini. And my most recent experiences with a Gemini would absolutely confirm what she said. Even in some of the darkest days we had, a friendship lay underneath. And likely always will. While things like Saturn ties can make people stick like crazy glue, those ties doen't always feel warm and fuzzy. But my Gem, no matter what, I never lost my feelings for him. Interestiing that she should say that these friendships will resurface at some time. Of the two Aquas I mentioned, it's highly doubtful I'll ever see the first again, it's been many many years. And the other, well, it's a long story, but the last time I contacted him he wasn't too happy to hear from me. C'est la vie. He only wanted my friendship when it was convenient for him, and that much is true. Oh, I think you're right about the books and plates...mine are always under something when I find them! Sometimes, they call to me. Awhile ago I hadn't seen my purple plate in months. Then I awoke one morning and said "today is the day I will find it." And there it was in the most unlikely place, under some plastic wal-mart bags near the garbage can. IP: Logged |

Well, I can't speak to the Aries piece of it. But I am a Cancer once married to a Virgo, also a 3-11 pattern. Karma, good and bad, old debts and (re) learning opportunities were definitely the over hanging theme of things. It can be a comfortable pattern, with a lot of familiarity, or de ja vu all over again. Mostly pay attention, and try to listen for your cues. KellsIP: Logged |

I was thinking about this...and it occurred to me that the 3-11 vibration is summed up in Linda's chapter about the Aries-Gemini relationship, with an excerpt from Venus Trines at Midnight:"Most people love with restraint As if someday they were to hate We hated gently, carefully As if some day we were to love" I have found this to be so true of my relationship with my Gem.

Interesting The 3 - 11 is a heavy influence! The poem is VAA`s signature too Kells, I have a Virgo Moon married to a Cancer with an Aries Moon. Trillian, I don`t know a single Gem.. I don`t believe I ever have. For some odd reason, the people around me are of a few specific signs. I`ve always wondered if it was a group Karma thing. ------------------ If having a soul means being able to feel love and loyalty and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans. ~James Herriot IP: Logged |

Your little one is a Gem with a big baby Leo moon! Look out! She's a little spit-fire!Perhaps she will herald in some new friends of Aries/Gem/Leo persuasion. I too have noticed a lot of certain signs in my life, but others come and go. Alright, must get some ironing done, have many things yet to do this evening. IP: Logged |
