Why wouldn't Linda give out details of her birth chart? Why was it so "sacred" to her? Was she hiding something?IP: Logged |

I honestly don't know Sweetie Aselzion might Just by looking at the chart I have for her (in the free astro forum) and there are no guarantees that it is correct I would say it could be a vanity issue (Leo Ascendant)Or maybe she just wanted to disassociate herself with age because you know she is timeless IP: Logged |

Greetings...Leo Ascendant for Linda? I think not. Read Gooberz carefully. I think there are plenty of hints there, and some "blinds" as well. Is it ego? Or perhaps there may be many different reasons for not wanting to bandy about one's personal information. Might you have any ideas why this could be so? The simple Truth of the matter may be much less "senastional" than one might at first think. Blessings in the Light... Well-said, Aselzion.------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. See, that's what happens when I get interested. After reading all this and following the links to other threads on this topic, I did a google search on Mary Alice Kemery. Besides finding a pic of Sam Goodman, I also came across this little diddy from a site which is dedicated to disproving all things paranormal:"According to the Times, Goodman was born Mary Alice Kemery (sic) in Morgantown, West Virginia, "on a date she gave as April 19 a year she would never disclose" -- not even to her son. This secrecy prompted a minor SI investigation. Actually, according to the Monongalia County, West Virginia, Register and Index of Births, she was Mary Alice Kenery, a daughter of Robert S. and Mazy A. (McBee) Kenery. She was born in 1925 (the Times had guessed she was "about 70") but not on the day she alleged. The register lists her birth as April 10, nine days earlier than Goodman always claimed. Therefore, from an astrological point of view her horoscope would have been significantly different than she represented it (although it is not certain that this was a deliberate falsification on her part)." SI=Committee for the Scientific Investigations of Claims of the Paranormal If indeed they did the search, this would indicate that she was born on April 10 and not 9. You might be able to get others to feed disinformation but it's hard to get the public agencies to do it ;-) IP: Logged |

They seem to indicate Linda claimed she was born on the 19th (nine days earlier than claimed), not the 9th. Now, I'm really confused. But Linda was known for bribing public officials to give disinformation and/or change records (although that may not be true).------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Well, they're just spitting out what they read. However, if they did actually check with the Birth Registry then either Linda had lots of clout in West VA or we are going to have to assume that this is the correct date. It is a crime to change these records, so I would guess her bribery would have to be VERY BIG. Now, if she was born at home, the Mom could say anything within reason. IP: Logged |

Hi Zen Ria, I have never heard of the April 19th birth either, but the date in the free astro forum is the 10th, I thought maybe when calculating to get to GMT it fell on the 10th. (as it does with many of us. In the link I posted I went back and found something very interesting from Sartai -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- trillian What makes me so certain is that I have simply placed the planets in the houses where they seem to fit. Saturn in the 7th---fits Moon in the 7th---fits Neptune in the 5th---fits Mars in the 2nd---fits Uranus in the 12th---fits Pluto in the 4th---fits Jupiter in the 10th---fits Even Venus in the 12th---right before the Asc---fits I'm just not sure if the Sun is in the 12th or the 1st~~~i'm leaning more towards 1st house with the Asc. somewhere around 18 degrees Aries, of course. I figured all this out a long time ago~~~probably around '94 Thanks for the Welcome the one thing I stopped on was the Neptune in the 5th house. Whats the one thing we know positively about Linda? That she greived and positively did not believe that Sally was dead of an overdose. Right? That does so fall with a Neptune in the 5th (children) drugs and deception. Could be her own or the authorities but it was one or the other.
As for the creditability of the website, I don't doubt it at all but if its true that she encouraged disinformation, it would be so easy to have had that one fixed. As a special favor have someone add a number and compliment it by casting a chart real fast. I'll be back IP: Logged |

Hi lalalinda,This website is set up to debunk psychic phenomenon. Take it for what it's worth. However, if indeed they did go to the birth records, then we'd have to give that credence. I do like your thoughts on the 5th house Neptune. If nothing else it would mean that what happened is fogged over. There would never be a clear answer...you know one that made it final. It must have been terrible for Linda...never really knowing. A 12th house Sun usually means a quieter demeanor...not wanting to expose it all to the world.

Member Unmoved was kind enough to share this information on Hazelwood... quote:
Hi There Bibi Sorry for taking so long with this. The name "Hazelwood" add up to number 45 and the number 45, according to Linda Goodman and to Chaldean numerology has the same meaning as the number 27 which represents The Scepter 45 reduces to number 9. I do not have my books with me as I am on the road therefore I will do everything according to memory, hence I apologize in advance if I have missed something here. The Scepter In simple terms, the Scepter represents authority over a certain field, and the power gained from such authority. As we all know, with power comes many freedoms and benefits but... all this can not be gained without RESPONSIBILITY. Therefore, the Scepter promises those lucky enough to have it, the power to be the victor in the end but, unlike other "good" numbers, the Scepter gives you what you desire only after it has tested whether you are worthy to possess the power that it can bestow upon you. The Scepter will teach you to make decisions based upon your OWN intellect and OWN guidance because in many instances, when a leader is in his/her position of power, s/he has many advisers which may lead one astray. Therefore, although external input is necessary in many cases for success to be achieved, with the Scepter, one MUST TRUST THEMSELVES and try by all means to keep to their personal vision because with this number, it is true that many cooks spoil the pot. So, if you have an entity with this vibration, or are a person with this number vibration, you will be taught to be self-reliant, to trust your inner voice and to persevere against many people's resistance to one's plans. Note: Linda's Star Signs went through the same process as it had this vibration also if my memory serves me right. This number, 45, promises victory in the end. It tests us for our seriousness in attaining what we desire and tests whether we deserve the gifts of authority, power and success that it later bestows upon the entity. Number 9 9 = SELFLESSNESS: Sacrificing self-interest to serve others, selfless service, learning to be loving, caring, giving and generous, being understanding, sympathetic and sensitive, learning to put aside prejudices, being what you would like others to be, being of help, making the world a bit better. Jesus Christ reduces to the number 9, so does the number of the beast, the number of matter 666 (6+6+6=18=9) Therefore, tying in with the Scepter's meaning, the number 9 requires for us to put ourselves aside, and think about the entire system's benefit in order to release it's power. This means that this number will not reward you if you are selfish, if all you care about is yourself and if you wish to have authority for your own benefit, leaving others in despair. It is a number that requires you to be internally driven and self motivated for external and macro success. For example, Linda's books, although were written and shared due to her persistence and resilience (inner strangth) were written as a gift for the benefit of the very same people who didn't believe her good works, for the world (benefit for all). I will add more as I go, but I hope this holds you for a while Bibi. This is what Linda said: quote:27 The Sceptre This is an excellent, harmonious, and fortunate number of courage and power, with a touch of enchantment. It blesses the person or entity it represents with a promise of authority and command. It guarantees that great rewards will come from the productive labors, the intellect, and the imagination, that the creative faculties have sown good seeds which are certain to reap a rich harvest. People (or entities) represented by the Compound number 27 should always carry out their own original ideas and plans, and not be intimidated or influenced by the diverse opinions or opposition of others. 27 is a number of karmic reward, earned in more than one previous incarnation
