silverstone,I have always wondered why this forum wasn't one of the most active, even before I became moderator, I talked to someone about this once, and I had to come to the realization that many people do have other things to do beside wonder about Linda's life. I stopped worrying about it along time ago. As before, I never tried to discredit Maria, I just wanted to know how one could say things said about LInda and then want to write a book about her. SInce those questions were asked, they have been answered and thats what I wanted to know...that was it. I am sure more to all of these things will come out more in the future. I am happy if other sites are interested in Linda's life and the counter is jumping higer, I just know there is no need to talk about things done by her (or not) in any fashion. She talked about what she wanted to talk about in the books. I am sure if she wanted to talk about closing doors in peoples faces and such...well she would have. the point was, why talk things like that about such a wonderful person, we know who she was from what she wrote...who needs to know those other things...things that begin to tear a person down in the eyes of others...maybe. I won't take it the wrong way friend, I understand your words, but I would do it all over again to get to the truth! later... IP: Logged |

haven't heard from you in a while...and I am a pain in the butt, lol and we all really need to do our best with... if you don't have anything nice to say,
then don't say anything at all... I often wonder, why people
who call themSelves friends of Linda
come here and say such horrible things about her...that's not a friend, that's not someone that loved Linda... people can be really mean. ... LOts of LOve to EveryOne

Thor you rushed to defend Linda against accusations she was nuts etc. But you must remember how ill she was in later years. Complications of advanced diabetes can have far reaching effects. It may not have been perjorative, just a description of how she appeared.------------------

Re: you wondering why this forum is not more active. Maybe people hold back because they don't want to sound uncomplimentary of Linda, knowing others won't like it.------------------

this is not the only slow forum. ...what would Linda want? I think she would want anyOne having her work, to share it with all, leaving no one excluded..
keeping no secrets... . all these years have gone by, and people are

this forum has never been really active, so its no biggie, many people on here are more interested in other things about linda, like gooberz to astrology, and thats fine, i am sure she wanted that. also it might not be as active because not a lot of people really dvelve into linda's life or no much except what others say and THEN you must wait to see if its rumor or really true.Its probably a blessing its not as busy,no worries on my part, I know it will always be here. also if anyone is afraid to say something that was negative in her life because they are afraid others will say something...this is a normal occurence because we loved her and we don't care about those things in her life, they are not what she was about, a friend of Linda who has to spurt out the bad things about her and chuckle about it in the background as if to show us they find humor in it...well thats not really nice. They say Jesus went into the temple and turned things over, breaking them and raging at people. He is remember for his love also and thats what matters most. so what Linda did positive is the most important thing to me, i don't care about the Rants and rages, because JUST from her reading I know she was a wonderful person...thats enough for me. If anyone has things to say about her negative in here or anywhere else...they will get a handfull from those that adore her, thats just the way it is MAKLHOUF, whether I am here or someone else...there will always be another who will speak up. Thor, I like your energy, but these are dangerous times. Read Faytes thread on the battle for your mind. We can no longer be ruled by blind emotion. It is important to be rational, even super-rational or we can be manipulated. Anyway as moderator, you need to support debate not stifle it.------------------

me too! My car died, I need to move, havent' found a place, landlords gonna be mad, cause I am behind on rent, and he won't re-new my lease...But, I believe in Miracles! and GOD. ... we should schedule a get together. ...
