posted in UC, thought this might be of interest here also.

in Matrix Revolutions, the third film of the Matrix series, the Oracle in a conversation with Neo, makes a reference to herself as a walk-in, as LG described in her books. i don't recall what transpired in the second Matrix sequel with the Oracle, but apparently in this film she has a new body, but is the same Oracle from before.

here's their conversation upon her meeting with Neo again ~

Oracle: So, do you recognize me?

Neo: A part of you.

Oracle: Yeah, that's how it works. Some bits you lose. Some bits you keep. I don't yet recognize my face in the mirror, but i still love candy.

now, this is quite interesting and synchronyous with LG in a number of ways. first, that she actually described 'walk-ins' in a similar manner. second, could this be a refrence to LG herself, perhaps being a walk-in? as most people who knew her assert her love of candy, to the extent that she would compromise her health by eating candy, even though she was seriously diabetic.

and third.....the name of the actress who portrays the Oracle in Matrix Revolutions is.....

Mary Alice.
(LG's birth name is Mary Alice Kemery, and she refers to herself thus, as Mary Alice, in Gooberz.)

in fact, wasn't much of Linda's work dircted towards waking us up to the fact that we do indeed exist in a kind of Matrix?

in the first movie of the series, Neo is led to Trinity and Morpheus by an anonymous message telling him to follow the white rabbit, which he does, following a woman with a white rabbit tattoo to a club, where he first encounters Trinity. he then physically traverses a canal (like Alice, travelling down the rabbit hole) and is 're-born' into a world existing outside the Matrix. LG also employs much of the 'Alice in Wonderland' scenery in describing an esoteric 'awakening.'

in a sense, isn't Linda Goodman herself a kind of Oracle? it doesn't seem to me that all this just is pure coincidence.

well, some interesting parallels that occurred to me. probably there are many others...perhaps even discussed here previously.

wild stuff, i thought.

Zanya...

just some human insight... I had friends who worked in the movie "Matrix" the actress that played the Oracle was very ill during the first and second Matrix movies. I had heard she died after the 2nd Matrix movie was finished. Therefore, they had to write into the script of the Third sequel to the Matrix that the Oracle had come back into a new body... because obviously a different actress was playing the role of the Oracle.

However, at a higher level... isn't it interesting that fate would pick an actress that would die and not finish the trilogy. Thus HAVING to write in those lines...

I'm in total agreement with you... Linda was the Oracle for our generation... and generations to come who read her books.

Interesting you posted this...i thought it was interesting the woman in the movie was a woman of color also, since there was a huge law suit for copy right infringement of the matrix...the person who accused those two brothers was irronically a woman of color who resides here in salt lake city..she had a copyright on about 8 chapters of a book that was EXACTLY the same as the Matrix Zanya....guess what the name of it was:

THE THIRD EYE

NOW IF THAT dont give you chills...and wonder if Linda is giggling at us now...think again! LOL

The Matrix: Ripped Off
by Sabrina Ford
Sophia Stewart is ****** off. “They didn’t expect me to go to the feds,” she says, “They didn’t expect this case to blow up this huge.” They includes Warner Brothers, Fox Studios, James Cameron, the Wachowski brothers, and Joel Silver. This case is one of the most fascinating and controversial cases that you may have never heard of.

Sophia Stewart, a black woman residing in Salt Lake City, is alleging that the internationally successful film that we all know as "The Matrix," was actually taken from her screen treatment and epic, "The Third Eye." Stewart also says that in the process of investigating her copyright infringement case, the FBI discovered that there was strong evidence linking "The Terminator," a film Stewart had never seen and therefore never sought compensation for, to "The Third Eye" as well.

Skeptical? I was too. I heard an interview with Stewart on Northern California’s KPFA show, "Hard Knock Radio." I was intrigued but befuddled. I didn’t understand how this could be so hidden for so long. I know that Hollywood is big business and that it can be cutthroat, but would the Wachowskis and Warner Brothers be so bold as to blatantly steal "The Matrix?" Why weren’t Barbara Walters and Ed Bradley knocking down her doorstep trying to get an interview? Well, even if they weren’t interested, I sure as hell was.

I had to find out what Sophia Stewart was about, but when I reached her by phone for a morning interview I was not initially greeted so warmly. “Yes, I’ve been waiting for you,” she said coolly. I was running a bit late. It wasn’t too long though, before Stewart warmed up and relaxed a bit.

She seemed genuinely appreciative for the opportunity to get her story out, and explains that she was originally inspired to write "The Third Eye" when was a film student at the University of Southern California and saw "Star Wars." She picked up on some heavy symbolism in the movie and tells me, “Star Wars is the wars in heaven and Dark Vader is Satan falling from the light to the dark side. So I thought, ‘No one has ever done the second coming of Christ in a science fiction form.’”

In response to me asking how this could have possibly happened, how her story could have been so blatantly ripped off and turned into several multi-million dollar blockbusters, Stewart says that there are two different ways that the producers of "The Matrix" and "The Terminator" could have gotten a hold of "The Third Eye."

Stewart claims that in 1981, she sent an unfinished version of what would become "The Third Eye" to Fox Studios. Stewart was contacted by a woman who worked at Fox, asking that Stewart resend "The Third Eye" once it was completed and told her that Fox was interested in the story. However, by the time Stewart finished "The Third Eye," the woman had left Fox to work for Paramount.

Later on in 1986, Stewart sent "The Third Eye" as a completed epic, along with graphics and illustrations, in response to an ad in which the Wachowskis called for submisions of manuscripts that they could turn into a comic book.

After submitting "The Third Eye," Stewart never heard anything from Fox, Paramount, or the Wachowskis.

In the meantime, Stewart explains, "The Third Eye" was circulating around Hollywood. In 1984 James Cameron filmed "The Terminator," and over a decade later in 1999, Stewart and a friend went to see "The Matrix." She watched the film in total shock. Stewart says she then contacted Warner Brothers and after talks with Warner Brothers and a lawyer, she was offered a settlement. The lawyer advised Stewart to abort the settlement and she is now set to go to trial in July of this year.

After talking to Stewart -- and having her answer all of my questions quickly and in detail, providing names and dates, and sounding so sure -- I had to ask myself, how could she possibly have made this up? I spoke to Stewart for well over an hour about "The Third Eye" and about her case.

Stewart claims that she doesn’t just want money, which is why she says the settlement was aborted -- she is pursuing criminal charges. “Somebody is going to go to jail. We are tired of people stealing our creative work. We’re going to make the government enforce those copyright laws.”

Stewart adds that the theft of creative work is far too common in Hollywood and that big studios have gotten away with it for so long because of their power and influence. She says of the pressures, “If you don’t do what they say they black ball you. Secretly all of Hollywood is behind me. They want to bring the studios down. They know about these thefts.”

“They’ve called me,” says Stewart of others who have gotten in touch with her telling similar stories of theft. “There are so many people that have been stolen from.” Among the works that people are claiming were stolen from them are, "The Fast and the Furious," "Life," and "Drumline."

Most appalling, says Stewart, is the fact that it would’ve been so easy for the studios to pay her for her work. “It’s a greater crime for the rich to steal because they have the money to pay for it. Why should the poor and the weak suffer? We’re not going to take anymore crap.”

Stewart says that she isn’t just fighting for herself, but for all of the writers who have had their work stolen from them. She wants people to know that they need to reclaim what is rightfully theirs. “If somebody took something from you, stand up. Fight. God will provide everything else for you. You don’t need money and power. Those are illusions.”

Stewart calls herself a master writer and sites the success of "The Terminator" and "The Matrix" as evidence of her gift. She studied film at University of Southern California, once worked closely with the Jackson family conceptualizing acting projects for a young Janet, and has a son who is pursuing a rap career. She says that it is because she always gives honor to God that she will be rewarded.

In writing "The Third Eye," Stewart says she wanted to show black people in roles that they’d never been cast in before. “I got so sick of those blaxplotation movies. I was tired of seeing black people as pimps and hoes. I wanted some black super heroes for our children to look up to. "The Matrix" is a black science fiction, the first of its kind, that’s why it was so special.”

She scoffs at the idea that the Wachowskis, two white men, would have created those black characters. “What would they have to do with a black oracle and black super hero? They’re not activists,” she laughs.

As to what exactly she is claiming was taken from her book and what was embellished, Stewart says that minor changes were made, but they don’t conceal the fact that the work is hers. “‘I’ll be back’ is a direct quote from my book,” says Stewart citing the line made famous the world over by current California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in "The Terminator."

Even though an undeniable factor in the success of "The Matrix" and "The Terminator" were the big-budget special effects, Stewart still claims that she should receive the bulk of the credit for the films, explaining that her screen treatment and the work she sent in to the Wachowskis laid out a solid foundation on which the special effects were based. Stewart even goes so far as to say that the awards that were given to the special effects crew for “The Matrix” should actually be given to her.

“Let me take your coat, your name is written inside of it, right? Well on the outside I’m gonna try to make it look like mine. I’m gonna put patches on it. I’m gonna put pins on it. I’m gonna put writing on it. But you’re gonna look at it and say, ‘That’s my coat. I don’t care what you put on it.’ And if you grab it and take it to the principal’s office and he looks inside of it, he’s gonna see your name.”

According to Stewart, if she wins all of the damages and compensation she is asking for, she stands to win over a billion dollars. And the marriage proposals have already begun. “They’re just thinking about a rich wife. Some of them are cute though,” she says of the men who have sent her photos or approached her.

“I’m having my victory party at the Bellagio Casino in Las Vegas,” she says. Stewart also plans on distributing movies and music with a spiritual message, donate to several churches, build a sound studio, and help her son with his rap career.

Stewart would also be able to release "The Third Eye" as a book, which she is unable to do now, as the book is physical evidence in the case. She also has another story "Soul-less," which she will develop into a film. She believes that "Soul-less" could out do the popularity of "The Matrix" and "The Terminator." “The saga continues,” she says.

She doesn’t seem the least bit concerned about matching the success of the other films and confidently declares, “A master will keep creating.” Stewart , who seems optimistic and is definitely feelin’ herself, says that soon the world will find out that, in her words, “I’m the real thing like Coca-Cola.”

Sophia Stewart
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sophia Stewart (aka Zenia Kavala) is the author of a work titled The Third Eye. In 2003 she unsuccessfully sued several people and organizations associated with The Matrix and The Terminator claiming they infringed on her work. However, because Stewart failed to appear for a preliminary hearing, her original lawsuit was dismissed in 2005.

In the original copyright registration for The Third Eye and letters from the author, Stewart uses Sofia, and uses both Sophia and Sofia in real life. She says they both mean the same.

[edit] Litigation

In May 1981 Stewart registered the manuscript of The Third Eye with the United States Copyright Office (TXu 117-610) on February 2, 1983.[1] Additional work was registered on February 6, 1984 (TXu-154-281) consisting of a narrative, preface, introductions, 8 brief chapters, and illustrations. Stewart claims this work has been creatively infringed upon by the movie series The Matrix and Terminator, and has taken legal action. Stewart asserts that "these two franchises are owned by the same people or movie house".[2]

A complaint was filed by Stewart against Larry Wachowski and Andy Wachowski, Warner Bros., and Joel Silver, (responsible for The Matrix and its sequels/spinoffs) and Gale Ann Hurd, James Cameron, Hemdale Films and 20th Century Fox (responsible for Terminator and its sequels) in the United States District Court for the Central District of California on April 24, 2003.[3] [4] In the complaint, damages are sought for relief from the results of copyright infringement, RICO violations, and supplemental state claims.

On October 4, 2004, the court granted her leave to continue the case against the accused.[5] This particular case has since been dismissed:

Stewart's case was dismissed in June 2005 when she failed to show up for a preliminary hearing of her case. In a 53-page ruling, Judge Margaret Morrow of the Central District Court of California dismissed the suit, saying Stewart and her attorneys had not entered any evidence to bolster its key claims or demonstrated any striking similarity between her work and the accused directors' films. As of this writing, Stewart's case is no longer before the courts. She has announced that she does not plan to let the matter drop, so possibly this case will someday be re-filed and heard, but for now it is over.
—Snopes[6]

Stewart however believes that her lawyers are to blame for the state of her lawsuit, she explains on her website: "I want the people to know that the defendants have not only defrauded me… but with this great deception the entire world has been made a victim to this scam"[7]. She further explains her position and her refusal to give up and keep on with her suit.

Thor...
I soooo remember all this when we were working on Steven Seagal's films at Warner Brothers. I even saw Ms. Sophia Stewart -- and yes she was an African American.

I must say the statement of "would they have put a Black Oracle and a Black superstar" into the movie... most likely NO! The only time you usually see the African American as a superstar is when an African American Producer or Director are doing the film.

I'm glad you brought this information up, because WE in Hollywood had been under the opinion that Ms. Stewart got her judgment. I'm praying that the statue of limitation on the issue doesn't pass... she is right ... too many creators of projects that make the Producers and Directors DREAMS COME TRUE are treated less than they deserve. That's a huge reason why the Writers Glide is on strike right this very moment.

hi Bibi ~ thanks for including that info about the filming of the trilogy. i looked up the oracle actresses in the movies and guess what? the first actress, Gloria Foster, died from diabetes (like Linda purportedly did) during filming of the second film. yet another parallel? there are others that have occurred to me as well.

this may seem really trivial, but it registered a lot with me. i had watched Matrix Revolutions the night before last. the following day (yesterday) found me at a restaurant that didn't have much vegetarian fare, so what i sometimes will do is order a few side dishes and then have desert. i love chocolate, and usually go for whatever's chocolatey. but for some inexplicable reason i found that i simply had to have the bananas foster (Gloria Foster = 1st Matrix Oracle). and i saw a number of other people ordering that as well. i never order that desert; i don't like cooked bananas. but it sounded so good! and it was quite delicious. the funny thing is, these ideas, about the parallels between Linda Goodman and the Matrix oracle, and everything, had been simmering in my brain most of the afternoon yesterday. and i wasn't yet aware of the info you had posted here. i don't know...i thought that was another bizarre twist in recognizing these things, if a little 'out there', lol.

anyway, i appreciate your attention to my thoughts here. it's cool that you are so on the 'inside track' in hollywood. i've enjoyed reading the contributions you've shared here.

Thorshammer ~ that is such awesome information. i had no idea! Sophia Stewart sounds like an amazing lady, and i'm enjoying having a look at her website. it appears she has a book published....? i will have to try to obtain that. what great insight she has.

she lives in Salt Lake City....same as you? very interesting. as that's the home of the LDS mormons...whose idea of heaven on earth, upon the return of Jesus, is a city called Zion. and as Ms. Stewart says, her book is about the return of Jesus, who lives among people in the city of Zion -- outside the Matrix. the mormons have always considered themselves to be 'outsiders' to the rest of the world as well.

Linda Goodman mentioned the mormons a few times in her work...saying they held a few very esoteric secrets, alongside the catholic church, from the rest of the world. some of the secrets that were to be released in Twelfth Night Secrets. LG also mentions, as one of her favorite writers, whose ideas coincided with some of her own, in her Pilgrims Progress list of suggested works, Annalee Skarin, a devout mormon, whose ideas were firmly established in the mormon framework.

the connections become more and more clear, don't they? you mention Kathleen McGowan...i've read through a little of the material here on her, not much though, but she wrote about Mary Magdalene, at LG's suggestion, didn't she?

i don't know about your reference to her work being stolen, like Sophia Stewart's was....was that related to Dan Brown/Da Vinci code in any way? i thought there were many parallels between his work and Linda's as well. and did you know, his upcoming novel will include esoteric ideas related to the mormons in salt lake city?? he was there, doing research at the temple, for his next book! amazing, huh?

well, Thorshammer, i certainly would love any further insight you have on these items....esp as you also are living in SLC at this time. it feels like history in the making!

there's more i'd like to share also about some of these ideas, soon.

if you communicate with Lotus anytime soon, please give her my regards and good wishes.

Zanya...I just came here to see if YOU left a comment...I have a feeling that...well Michael and I talked today and we came to the conclusion that NOTHING IS coincedental as Linda said. Tonight I was watching BATTLE STAR GALATICA...and RIGHT at this moment....SILVERSTONE CALLED ME..just as i was begining to write this..nothing is coincidental. but I want ANYONE....ANYONE that can to try to catch the EPISODE OF "RAZOR" on battlestar Galatica...it was the season opening for the final and fourth season of BSG. during the last 15 minutes of this two hour season premier..there is something that is shown that relates to what Zanya has disclosed and what has gone on in this topic. i urge you all to watch it as its proof that something is amiss in the universe and we CAN make a change in the world with LOVE. check it out..crazy.

Of course I am drinking my second bottle of RED ZIN at the moment..but that means nothing. WATCH IT!

Thorshammer ~ thanks for the clues.

don't have vhs, just dvd.....but that is very kind of you.

i thought it was interesting to discover that the actor originally intended to play the part of Neo was Will Smith, but he passed up the opportunity. though his wife, Jada, went on to act as Niobe in the trilogy, and has a major role in the online games.

i'm sure there are numerous films that touch on these themes....walk-ins...gurus....karma....reincarnation....

one comes to mind, that i particularly loved...attempting to recall the title...

it's about this old patriarchal millionare who dies at about the same time that a struggling comedian 'dies' but is given another 'chance' to live awhile. for some reason the old guy's body is the only vehicle the comedian can occupy to return. in his first body and persona, he was very much in love with a sweet lady.

the situation becomes complicated when he returns in the old guy's body. the old guy was well known for his cutthroat and racist policies. when the comedian, in the old guy's body, tries to convince his girlfriend, a young beautiful black lady, that he is her comedian love in the old guy's body, she has quite a hard time accepting it. she finds that he still is the same man she loved before, and finds that she still loves him the same, regardless of his new 'persona'. it speaks true on so many different levels.

it's such a great film. at the end, the comedian character, back in his original body (don't remember how this transpired), makes a statement to the effect of Gee, You are You, LG's same words in discussing GURUS in Star Signs -- Gee (G), You (U) Are (R) You (U)!

i will try to find the film and post it here.
