Thank you Thor Michael, thank you for your time and sharing here. My question is : BiBi De Angelo said to me, when asked about Twelfth Night Secrets:
yes, there does seem to have been a manuscript of some length (finalized??? so many pages in length???)... named Twelfth Night Secret... Is it a manuscript or book proposel? Either one, will you be sharing the Secrets in your ( much awaited) book? Bless you for your presence here. ------------------ ~ What we do for ourselves dies with us. Thor - Michael - Thanks for your response. You've brought tears to my eyes ... at this time, I would like to do the right thing and tell you I did purchase some of your mother's books from a Gentleman outta Colorado ... I would like to ask you at this time if you would like to have those? I would gladly pass them on to their rightful owner.

MIchael says,"In answer to if this is a completed manuscript, I Believe it to be completed, but seeing as how at this date I do not have a copy of said manuscript and those that do have copies of it have not to this date sent me one, I cannot say for sure. I know that my mother did extensive work on it and if i was a betting man I know that before my mother passed on she would have certainly done her very best to the complete it. In answer to whether or not i would be revealing any of the secrets in my book, I leave my mother's works on their own as a true triple Aries would have me do, The book that I am writing is going to be more in the format of a marriage between biography and good ol downright home storytelling about my mother and our family. Michael says,"Hello everyone its me, the "Magic child"...I'm wondering and extremely curious, not to mentioned befuddled as to the lack of response either in statement or question form or simply a Howdy do from those of you on this website. Don't misunderstand me, I'm not upset mind you, its just that my mother is in my head right now and in her true Aries way, she too is saying to me: "Where are they all hiding? Are they stunned to the fact that you are on this website, are they being overly respectful of your privacy or are they taking their time to formulate the right things to say or ask?" And I myself want you all to know that this is my coming out because of the fact that speaking with my friends and Thorshammer, there seems to be a honest and true hunger for more information, Knowledge and Love. So Please, Step up to the "MIKE" and I will do my best to represent my mother as she would have me do. Sincerely, Micheal A. Goodman I EXPECT A MIRACLE IP: Logged |

I would have to say yes, Michael. I think reading this thread is like "WOW!! What do I want to ask? What don't I want to ask..." Amazing and overwhelming, and I think we all just wanna get it right, know what I mean? Thank you for your presence here. It is an honor, and a true testament that we all "fell" your mother here... that you would want to share your stories/memories/answers with us... that you are comfortable and sure that we all want the same thing. To follow what she had to say, to respect her and her legacy, and to continue to want to know more! About her, her life, ourselves in having been touched by her. I'll get back to you on my question... (My Mercury in Aqua sextile my Aries rising is battling about what to say!!) Ghani IP: Logged |

Hi Michael,Thanks for visiting and offering to answer questions. I read somewhere that your mother would leave all the lights on at night in the house in Cripple Creek (edited out Colorado Springs on 3/1/07, wrong city). Why? Second question is what are the 9 mysteries? Best Regards, Aphrodite IP: Logged |

Oh, not hiding, dealing with personal matters and away from the site! I'm still not caught up and hardly have any time left this morning on the computer but I wanted to say a great big thank you to Thorshammer and Michael! Anything you have to share with us about Linda, Michael, is appreciated and if there is ever a waiting list for your book you can bet I'll be on it. One of my personal wonderings ... I read that Linda passed due to complications with Diabetes and had experienced an amputation of one of her legs. It's always been one of my pet theories that people as great and inspiring as Linda have work to do here, a message to spread, and that their passing is an important part of their journey. Is there anything you'd feel comfortable sharing about how Linda viewed her health problems and her state of mind about the end of her own life? (Which, btw, I don't think takes anything away from her ideas on Immortality ... sometimes people listen to truth only when their teacher is no longer available.) and ...
Around the time I lost computer access around here, there was a lot of drama going on in FFA. I remember reading Thorshammer mentioning that you, Michael, feel that Linda would disapprove of some of the things that go on on this site. (I hope I'm not offending anyone and I haven't found that previous thread or read it all the way through so I don't know how far I've put my foot in it just yet, sorry.) If you're passionate about sharing those thoughts, please do. I would like to know how you feel and what you disapprove of. From my own perspective, it feels as though this site is dedicated to Linda and is centered around her ideas and beliefs for the most part ... it's just that, as time has progressed, I think a community of its own has born out of the original plan and we have made it more "ours" instead of "hers". On the one hand, having a community like this to participate in feels really positive to me, even taking the "darkness that is attracted by the light" here into consideration. But on the other hand, I do sometimes miss Linda and more Linda/her ideas centered discussion. Not everyone that comes to this site is a huge Linda fan, has read all her works, or subscribes to all her beliefs ... and while one may sometimes feel that they have to defend their "right" to write about things Linda believed in, for the most part, imo, an accepting and tolerant disposition is best (within reasonable limits). Do you think the site should instead be more centered around Linda and, if so, in which ways? Are my ramblings here related to part of what you disapprove of? To everyone else reading this ... I feel like I left here with a bit of a black cloud overhead. I don't think the storm has broken, though, because I feel a bit of tension in the background on the boards. Personally, I think this storm would be worth the clear feeling and freshness that always follows the lightning. Hoping for a molehill and civility.

eleanore,Michael says, "big Questions and I will have answers for you, just running around, but what you have asked and said is not rambling and its all good."
"I will answer the others too...be back soon." "If I DID Indeed "believe in computers"? Or used them, or even owned one I wouldn't have to take up Thor's valuable time, but seeing as how this is the opening I have and thanks to Thor's Gracious giving of his time, I guess i am forced to be apart of the web world. I do believe that computers can be very useful and that the internet can be a extremely useful tool, but I also believe that People have let computers take over their life and I find that sad. People use to research things in books, use their local Libraries, talk to their elders, have discussions with friends, these are the things that we are losing with all the attention paid to computers, not to mention that they are in control of more parts of our life than we understand, or even want to know. That being said for the time being until my book is completed and i have more time to talk on the phone I guess I'm going to have to bow to the "MAN'S" technology. PS. you never know,I may end up owning a computer in the long run anyway. lol, I hope not. EXPECT A MIRACLE Michael A. Goodman

Thanks Thor and Michael for teaming up and sharing with all of us.. I love the story you shared about Clyde...it reminds me of something my son used to do to me...he would call out "mum?" to which i'd reply "yes,Solomon?" again he would say "mum?" to which i would repeat "yes,Solomon?" and again he would say "mum?" then i would get frustrated and say "WHAT SOLOMON?" to which he would reply "i love you mum" it was like he was making sure he really had my attention before telling me this... ok..i do have a question if at all possible... Michael can you tell me the most important thing your mum did that impacted you and who you are?IP: Logged |

Thor - thank you for being the typist in all this. And wow... Michael, I've wanted to talk with you many, many times. And I just found this thread today. I have so many questions, but I fear they may not be appropriate or too personal as I do want to honor your privacy the best that I can. I've read all of your mother's books - multiple times - "Gooberz" and her poetry books being my favorite (I'm a poet, too)... and back when I was 19 and 20, I found myself "researching" anything I could on Linda. I went to the broadcast museum in Chicago where I lived to try to get video. I went to libraries and read tons of articles. I found myself specifically interested in her life, not just her work. Even though I think one can say her work was her life, no? I visited her house in Cripple Creek and the B&B owners were nice enough to give me a tour. Oh, I know I'm babbling... I just feel so close to Linda. As so many of us do. And I almost feel guilty telling you that because she was YOUR mother. I don't want to sound like I'm taking that away from you. Can you tell us a little bit about Sam? I know a little due to a person I met who knew Sam. He seemed like a genuinely wonderful person. He and I share the same birth date, you know. Well, that's enough for now... I'm quite shy and overwhelmed now... I want to thank you for coming to Randall's site and answering our questions. I know there's been some drama (I don't know what about, though) and so I hope you came out of truly wanting to answer questions and not because there was negativity here. I say a prayer for you, Bill, Sally, and Jill and your families every night. I hope you all are healthy and happy. Be well, know you are loved. LMB IP: Logged |

Thorshammer,Thank you for this wonderful opportunity. What a blessing to be able to ask Linda's actual son some questions! As far as my own concerns go, I think Eleanore posed some good questions and I await their answers. All I really care to contribute here is my own personal message to Michael: Brother Michael, Your presence here provides such a great hope, dear brother. I refer to you with this affection, as I do with others here at LL, because there is a familial bond that gathers us here. Your mother is a sun. I write "is" because her brilliance shines on through her writings. I just wanted you to know of the intense impact that her love has had on my life and the path which she helped me embark upon. A path that has led me to this forum and if you glance around, I am not the only one by a long shot. Thank you for sharing yourself here with us and for this intimacy. God bless you. IP: Logged |

Welcome. I would have said "Hello" earlier but I have been offline and consummed with training/ classes for my new family readiness support role. I have been a fan of Linda Goodman and her works for more than 10 years and find her manner of speaking to be refreshing, honest yet lined with optimism. I have enjoyed reading this thread and like others I was in the same "wow" position when I first caught the name of this thread. I look forward to reading more answers to questions, especially those posed by Eleanore (she always has a way of putting things in a very articulate manner and hits the nail on the head each and every time). Again, Welcome. IP: Logged | |
