Link to THE POWER OF THE SOUNDS OF SILENCE... http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum5/HTML/000488.html quote:
* LINDA GOODMAN'S STAR SIGNS - FORGOTTEN MELODIES *Some of the most wondrous sounds of the harmony of the Universe are the sounds of silence, and one of these is . . . dolphin talk. These beautiful creatures of the sea have been around for perhaps sixty million years (or longer) -- enough Earth time to have accumulated a lot of wisdom. Dolphins make certain sounds, but it's their mental telepathy communication . . . the sound of their silence . . . that marine biologists of vision are trying so hard to decode. Dolphins can talk, but you have to converse with them in their own telepathic language.
THE SOUND OF SILENCE - ST. PAUL SIMON & ART GARFUNKEL Hello darkness, my old friend I’ve come to talk with you again Because a vision softly creeping Left its seeds while I was sleeping And the vision that was planted in my brain Still remains Within the Sound of Silence
In restless dreams I walked alone Narrow streets of cobblestone ‘Neath the Halo of a streetlamp I turned my collar to the cold and damp When my Eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon Light That split the night And touched the Sound of Silence And in the naked Light I saw 10,000 people, maybe more People talking without speaking People hearing without listening People writing Songs that voices never share No one dare Disturb the Sound of Silence “Fools” said I, “You do not know Silence like a cancer grow Hear my Words that I might teach you Take my arms that I might reach you” But my Words like silent raindrops fell And echoed in the wells of silence And the people bowed and prayed To the neon god they made And the Sign flashed out its warning In the Words that it was forming And the Sign said “The Words of the Prophets Are written on subway walls And tenement halls And whispered in the Sounds of Silence” © 1964 Words and Music by Paul Simon http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-JQ1q-13Ek ******************************************************* "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the Light of men. And the Light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not." John 1:1-5 IP: Logged |

Oh, yes! I haven't had time to get back to that thread yet. I've been pretty busy selling worldly possessions on Ebay. I remember you saying you had to move Heaven and Earth to listen to it on your Kenwood though. And didn't you almost post the lyrics, but I beat you to it?IP: Logged |

Lol... : I don't think the where matters so much. Although, I must admit taking a three year-old on that long of a flight doesn't sound like a good time to me. The question is really which one of us is actually going to venture that far from their Aquarium for that long? There is the dog issue--we'd need an experienced dog sitter. His are hard to handle and my lab is over fourteen years-old with health problems. And, Ellynlvx, not too long ago it did sort of dawn on me that maybe we are both more adept in the spiritual world than in the material world, so it would suffice to say there are some fiscal obstacles that need surmounting. quote: 18 Spiritual-Material Conflict Of all Compound numbers, 18 has the most difficult symbolism to translate. (Read again on an earlier page of this chapter the relationship of 18 to Jesus.) The ancients describe the Compound number 18 with the following image: "A rayed moon, from which drops of blood are falling. A wolf and a hungry dog are seen below catching the falling drops of blood in their opened mouths, while still lower, a crab is seen hastening to join them." 18 symbolizes materialism striving to destroy the spiritual side of the nature...

I'm sorry, St. Ephanie.Although to be perfectly honest, bringing it to Earth is sometimes like trying to pin down Angels. Might be better to enjoy the Spiritual for all it is worth, and give Thanks for the Beauty of the Flow with all your Inner Being. I hate myself when in a Relationship. IP: Logged |

I don't know, Ellynlvx, I think I would drive him nuts in a Relationship... ...you see, Mike comes from a family of interrupters, he can't stand interrupters because he comes from a family of incorrigible interrupters, and I am an incorrigible Queen of interrupting...but if you want to get technical then I suppose we already do have a relationship...even though we do argue quite a bit...which I guess is probably just because we are both kind of difficult people...and despite that we'd likely need a WWF boxing ring to battle it out if we did meet...I'd still say we are BFF's. ------------------ Got the Wings of Heaven on my Shoes. COUNTING CROWS Divination>>OmensOne of the most intelligent of birds, the crow, along with its cousins, raven and magpie, has been featured in many legends and superstitions throughout history around the world. In Tibet, the raven is the messenger of the Supreme Being. Counting crows has been a popular method of divination for hundreds of years. One Crow — signifies bad luck. Two Crows — good luck, change for the better Three Crows — a celebration, possibly a wedding or the birth of a girl Four Crows — birth of a boy, or an event having to do with a son Five Crows — silver, a good transaction Six Crows — gold, sometimes a negative transaction Seven Crows — a secret Eight Crows — a life altering experience Nine Crows — passion Ten Crows — something overwhelming Eleven Crows — uncertainty Twelve Crows — fulfillment or completion http://www.witchipedia.com/counting-crows
Bob Dylan is from the Land of 10,000 Seas... Born May 24, 1941 (age 73) Duluth, Minnesota, U.S. quote: In response to Loder's asking whether he belonged to any church or synagogue, Dylan laughingly replied, "Not really. Uh, the Church of the Poison Mind." In 1997 he told David Gates of Newsweek: “ Here's the thing with me and the religious thing. This is the flat-out truth: I find the religiosity and philosophy in the music. I don't find it anywhere else. Songs like "Let Me Rest on a Peaceful Mountain" or "I Saw the Light"—that's my religion. I don't adhere to rabbis, preachers, evangelists, all of that. I've learned more from the songs than I've learned from any of this kind of entity. The songs are my lexicon. I believe the songs.
SYMBOLISM ~ CYMBAL-ISM New York City History: New Amsterdam was a 17th-century Dutch settlement established at the southern tip of Manhattan Island, which served as the seat of the colonial government in New Netherland territory. It was renamed New York in 1665 in honor of the then Duke of York (later James II of England) after English forces seized control of Manhattan Island, along with the rest of the Dutch colony. The 1625 date of the founding of New Amsterdam is now commemorated in the official Seal of New York City. quote: ** LINDA GOODMAN'S STAR SIGNS - PHYSICAL IMMORTALITY **"There are many roads to Rome." That oft-repeated saying has multiple meanings. Using oversimplification, it's the same as saying that everyone begins the journey in New York, and everyone will reach the final destination of Los Angeles, regardless of the mode of travel or the speed of travel chosen. Or the other way around, from Los Angeles to New York, if you prefer. It's only allegorical. The point is that different people achieve the same goal by using a myriad of road maps and esoteric pathways through the woods. Everyone even slightly interested in pursuing the goal of immortality- and, in particular, those of you who are sufficiently evolved to be aware of the higher occult mysteries -- will want to read The LION Path: "A Manual of the Short Path to Regeneration in Our Times," written by Dr. Charles Muses, the brilliant metaphysiclan, Musaios, containing ancient astrological and astronomical disciplines and regimens for achieving immortality swiftly. A short path it may be, but a complicated one, despite the fact that its author presents the formulas with unwonted crystal clarity, relative to such profound mysteries. I warn you that The LION Path is fathoms deep, although it will be easily comprehended by the already illuminated, especially those who are educated in the studies of astronomy, astrology and mythology. To them, it will be a sheer delight, as they discover its never-before-revealed Egyptian secrets of regeneration and immortality. This is a book urgently needed in our Time. It's an incomparably valuable guide for Initiates desirous of mastering the ancient disciplines for the purpose of quickly joining the ranks of the Masters now upon the Earth in their mission to save the planet from a premature and unnecessary Gotterdammerung. Metaphysical beginners, however, may have some difficulty in comprehending this fine work, prepared by one of the world's true Masters and Meta-Magicians. If you're among these, you needn't trouble yourself with such strict disciplines as the book details. They're not necessary to become immortal. You would be wise to add The LION Path to your library now for that day when "the student is ready," but you needn't immediately involve yourself with its prismatic pathways until that time comes -- and when it does, you'll know it. Meanwhile, you may successfully follow the slower, easier and simpler path of the ten steps outlined in this chapter. They will give you the needed and necessary mastery over your body to begin cell regeneration, and will make you an immortal as surely as the more complex path. To repeat: There are many roads to Rome.

"Words" (Bee Jays) Smile an everlasting smile A smile can bring you near to me Don't ever let me find you gone 'Cause that would bring a tear to me This world has lost it's glory Let's start a brand new story Now my love, right now There'll be no other time And I can show you how, my love Talk in everlasting words And dedicate them all to me And I will give you all my life I'm here if you should call to me You think that I don't even mean A single word I say It's only words, and words are all I have To take your heart away Songwriters: GIBB, MAURICE ERNEST / GIBB, ROBIN HUGH / GIBB, BARRY ALAN
