I wasn't certain who or what Randall was liking either, Ellynlvx, but then I thought... "There’s No Place Like Home…. click, click….There’s No Place Like Home……click, click….."IP: Logged |

I have trouble popping up too many pictures at once. That's why it took me so long to thank you. That was really nice of you, I was quite impressed with the Lens, once you had blown it up. What a Wonderful Shot! ------------------ Love, Ellyn IP: Logged |

I'll get back to beacon lights--I promise--just let me ramble on about Jean-Michel a little more....Here's a link to a really neat interactive page by the brooklynmuseum.org ~ Street to Studio: The Art of Jean-Michel Basquiat This is cover art for the Basquiat movie... Roger Ebert Review ~ http://www.rogerebert.com/reviews/basquiat-1996 *****************************
And guess what! I found the entire Jean Michel Basquiat: The Radiant Child (2010) movie for FREE on Youtube! Here's the link to the movie... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZKiYnuvK8c

Yay!.. ...I watched Jean-Michel Basquiat: The Radiant Child! It differs from Basquiat in that it's a documentary film rather than a movie with actors, but still just as compelling and thoughtful. Anyways, now I can highly recommend watching both the documentary film and the Basquiat movie when you get the chance--I know Mike would too.In the documentary there was a scene I found particularly funny since I was just talking about Basquiat shoes. At about 23:00 into the film, a friend of Basquiat's tells the story of how Jean-Michel would simultaneously work on many different drawings on a mess of papers scattered about on the floor and while going back and forth from one drawing to the next and back again as inspiration struck him, he would actually step on his work leaving faint shoe prints. After Jean-Michel's celebrity as an artist rose, it became a running joke that Basquiat's artwork could practically be dated by the sneakers he had worn over the years. IP: Logged |

Kind of silly, especially considering "Astral Weeks" and the lyrics to "Lady Madonna"... quote:
"Monday's child has learned to tie his bootlace. See how they run.
" Lady Madonna ~ St. Paul McCartney
Every Monday for the past two months of June and July, www.kqrs.com , one of the popular radio stations here in Minneapolis/St. Paul has been giving away concert tickets to the sold out St. Paul McCartney concert coming up in a few days proclaiming the Moon ruled day to be "McCartney Monday" to promote the giveaway. The last "McCartney Monday" just wrapped up. People just seemed a little more cheerful..."Oh, it's McCartney Monday!"...on Mondays the past two months. What are we going to do now? We can't have "Moody Blue Mondays" that could turn into a catastrophe! And besides that, most of us already know the Moody Blues have an unremitting monopoly on Tuesday Afternoon... quote: "Tuesday Afternoon is never ending..."Lady Madonna ~ St. Paul McCartney

Tickets sold out so fast it makes my head spin... quote:
Paul McCartney tickets sell out in 20 minutesMINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, Minn. - Apparently plenty of Twin Cities music fans still have the bug for a Beatle. The Minnesota Twins say tickets for the August 2 Paul McCartney show at Target Field sold out in 20 minutes Monday morning. Sales opened up at 10 a.m., and seats were gone by 10:20 a.m....

Next Monday's Weather Chart is forecasting a partly cloudy blue sky with a 10% chance of rain, so the chance that we'll have a "Stormy Monday" in the Twin Cities area is pretty slim.STORMY MONDAY ~ ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND by Earl hines, Billy Eckstine, and Bob Crowder Copyright 1962, 1974 Warner Bros., Inc. (lyrics modified by Gregg Allman) They call it Stormy Monday But Tuesday's just as bad. They call it Stormy Monday But Tuesday's just as bad. Lord, and Wednesday's worse And Thursday's all so bad. The Eagle flies on Friday, Saturday I go out to play. The Eagle flies on Friday, Saturday I go out to play. Sunday I go to church, Gonna kneel down and pray. Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy on me. Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy on me. Though I'm tryin' and tryin' to find my baby, Won't someone please send her home to me. http://www.allmanbrothersband.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Lyrics&file =index&req=showcontent&id=89 IP: Logged |

I'm pretty sure there was a young man, named Freddy, who was dating Sally. Sally's mom was very upset with the way Freddy was treating her daughter. She thought Freddy was anything but fabulous and called him Freddy Freeloader, or Freeloader Freddy--I can't remember which way the words went.Anyways, she even went so far as to calling him just to play a recording that repeatedly said something like..."Fred is dead, Fred is dead, Fred is dead..." (CANCEL!..CANCEL!..CANCEL!!!) Sally's mom...might have been...probably was...arrested for terroristic threats. I bet that would probably weigh pretty heavy on her mom's soul, especially considering what happened to Sally and then writing the above section in Star Signs. IP: Logged |

So excuse me forgetting, but these things I do, You see I've forgotten if they're Green or they're Blue, Anyway, the thing is what I really mean, Yours are the sweetest I's I've ever seen.Your Song ~ Elton John And the fifth angel sounded his TRUMPET, and I saw a STAR fall from HEAVEN unto the earth: and to him was given the KEY of the bottomless pit. He opened the bottomless pit, and smoke went up out of the pit, like the smoke of a great furnace; and the Sun and the Air were darkened by the smoke of the pit. Then out of the smoke came locusts upon the earth, and power was given them, as the SCORPIONS of the EARTH have POWER. Revelation 9:1-3 IP: Logged |
